《Delightful》The black notebook

You MUST play this song for this!

Nora was early in her class like the usual. You know the good girl, good grades, decent looking? That one.

She was sitting in class ready to learn just as students were piling in. She sat up straighter when a certain black haired boy walked in.

She had a crush on him for the longest time she has know him. The problem was that they have never spoken a word to each other.

As soon as he walked in, his eyes scanned the room, sweeping over her and then they stopped just behind her.

Her heart started to speed up thinking about Ryan about to sit down just behind her. She started to take deep breaths with each step he took but it just wasn't working.

When he reached behind her, he sat down and that's when her nerves shoot up through the roof.

Her mind went blank. Nothing.

What if he will just ask her for a pencil and then just think of her as the nerd? What if he doesn't even talk to her at all?

So the whole lesson goes by and nothing happened leaving Nora slightly disappointed.

He wasn't a bad boy that he wouldn't talk to her but he wasn't the good boy either.

Just as she was walking out of the class defeated and bummed, she heard her name get called out.

She slowly turned around fixing the bag strap on her shoulder. Her eyes widened at seeing Ryan wave at her. Why is he waving at her? Did he realise that he needed homework? But why would he when he does it all anyway?

Gulping, she started to walk back towards him. As soon as she reached him, he smiled at her. She smiled back awkwardly but cringing inside.

"Yes?" She answered.

"You forgot something in class," she frowned thinking about anything that she may have forgotten but she didn't.

"I don't think I-" that's when he pulled out a black notebook from behind him and her face went ghost white.

'Oh my god' she thought. What if he read it? How the hell would she explain that then?

"I-How did you even get this?" She said avoiding looking at his eyes.

But she could tell that he had a slight smirk on his face.

"From the floor. I guess fate did want me to read it," he sighed.

"Here you go though," he took her hand and put the book inside it, curled her fingers around it and gave it a tap.

And then he turned around started to leave.

But Nora wasn't done. She needed to know if he had read it or not. It will eat her up if she doesn't find out.

"Hey wait!" He turned around through in the now empty hallway.

"Did-" Nora took a deep breath and started again.

"Did you read it?" Her voice was so low you could barely hear it but Nora didn't care. For now, her dignity was on the line.

Ryan started to smirk and his eyes twinkled.

"Yes." One word answer. Three letter word.

That was all it took for Nora to have flames erupt on her face.

Maybe he didn't read his page. Yeah that could be it.

She tried to reason with herself but it wasn't working in calming her down.

"What was on your page?" She asked him as she slowly walked closer.

He looked to the side with a smile, his jawline visible making Nora internally swoon.

"No shirt. No blouse." He responded.

He looked back down at her to see her staring at him with awe but embarrassment at the same time.

He lifts a questioning eyebrow and that is when she snapped out of it.

She glared at him and pointed an accusing finger.

"That is invasion of privacy," but Ryan had other things on his mind.

How would Ryan let this little mischief go this easily?

One that with just 2 sentences that weren't even out of her mouth, spike his interest.

Her innocent face did no justice to her insanely rather, filthy, mind. And he found that quite interesting.

He took hold of wrist, and pulled her closer to him making her crash against his chest.

"But it wouldn't be if it was about the person." Nora failed to come up with some excuse to her writing about him.

"But that still doesn't count," she so miserably tried to argue.

"Oh really? Would you mind showing me the rest of the book? Or maybe give me a full demonstration on what you wrote?" He tilted his head still holding her in place.

Nora tried her best not to let her jaw drop the floor.

She never had expected him to say that.

"I got to go," she yanked her arm back and started walking around him.

"Your class is the other way by the way," mentally cursing herself, Nora turned around to look at him to see him look at her with the same twinkle in his eyes.

Just this time, it showed Nora that maybe, this won't be the last time they will be having a conversation.

And she was fine with it.
