《Unwavering Love | {M.YG}》Chapter 14

Everyday was per usual. Yoongi had started to open up more so the process became smoother although it was still not 100%. There were times I had to head back home alone. It was not a problem until lately. I started feeling like someone was following me but I thought it was just my imagination. I didn't tell the boys yet since they were busy and all. Also, it could have really just been my imagination. Although, I had been having weird dreams since then.
This time I woke up in a place that I had never been before. I was flat on the ground in a place which was all white. There was nothing but a mirror like the previous time. Am I still dreaming? It's not like anything would change if I just continued laying there so I got up and walked towards the mirror.
I didn't see myself in the mirror. There was nothing but plain white background. Strange. I looked around to find an exit or something but there was only me and the mirror. Which would mean that the only way to escape would be through this mirror which I have no idea how it works.
I observed the mirror which was the same as the last dream. If I remembered clearly, Yoongi actually appeared as my reflection. I walked around the mirror to learn more about it but it seemed like any other standing mirror.
I tapped on it with my knuckles and I heard a groan. The glass of the mirror ripped like water and suddenly a familiar man appeared. He stood as my reflection.
"What's up, princess?" He asked while yawning.
"Is this a dream?"
Yoongi rubbed his eyes to make himself fully awake. He must had been taking a nap or something. He stretched out his arms and tapped on his chin as if to think about my question. He shrugged his shoulders and leaned in forward with his arms at the back.

"Doesn't everything seem like a dream?"
I blinked upon his question. Everything? I felt like someone punched me in the stomach and my heart ached. I didn't even know what the reality was anymore.
"Babe. Stop thinking too much."
Everything on my mind disappeared when I heard his voice. I looked at him who was folding his arms and looking at me with his eyebrow raised. Something felt strange though. He was speaking fluent English. But then again this was a dream.
"You seemed to be forgetting something. Don't you feel like you are missing something?"
"Forgetting?" I repeated. I wondered what he meant by that. It was true that I always felt empty since I was young but I never knew what it was.
"I remember you said you had a sister. Are you sure?"
My sister? Obviously I had one but... My mind went blank. I looked down and squeezed my nose bridge to force myself to think harder. But it was no use. But why? Why is it that I don't remember how my sister looked like? Is it because I never thought about it?
"Yoongi, I-"
I looked up and I was in a completely different place. This time it was a dimly lit room, rather dusty and small like an attic. I heard a footstep and the moment I turned around, I was pounced on. That man from before who tried to choke me to death. I recognised him from his clothes but I still couldn't see his face.
"I'll kill you."
He held a knife up and swung it.
"Kat! Kat!"
I gasped and shot up when I heard Yoongi calling my name. He looked at me worriedly and asked me if I was ok. I was breaking out in cold sweat and out of breath. It must have been a nightmare.
He passed me the in-ear device and gestured me to put it on. It seemed like he wanted to say something.

""
I shook my head and smiled at him.
"I'm fine. Don't worry."
He held my hand and brought it to his face. I could feel his warm breath on my hand. He must have been really scared.
""
I nodded and assured him that I was fine for the tenth time. Only then, he got up to get ready to leave for practice. He was the last to leave. He told me that he came to wake me up but found me in such a situation. He didn't know what to do so he just stayed beside me until I woke up. I felt bad since he was late but he said it's nothing.
We arrived at the company and quickly rushed to the dance studio. Although he said that it was nothing, he seemed to be pretty anxious that he was late. I settled down at the back of the studio while the BTS boys practiced their moves.
They were perfect. Their dance moves were so slick and they were all so synchronised. It was as if I was watching them performing live. As much as I loved watching them, my mind couldn't help but drift off to thinking about the dream. And also, I couldn't believe that I couldn't remember how my sister looked like.
"You seemed pretty dazed. Is everything alright?"
Namjoon sat beside me with a bottle of drink. I nodded and looked at the other boys, especially Yoongi who was with the choreographer and Hoseok. He seemed to be having difficulty following the dance moves and catching up with the rest. He noticed me staring and waved at me with a smile. I obviously flashed a smile and waved back at him immediately.
"Just have a lot of things on my mind."
"I see. Well, Yoongi-hyung seemed pretty brighter than before. So it's all thanks to you."
"There is progress but it's only 45%. Its going to take time."
"No need to rush, Doc. You should enjoy what you have while you can."
I blinked my eyes and looked at him. I was about to ask him what he meant by that but he had already gotten up and headed back to practice. What he said made me feel uneasy but he was right though.
My eyes moved and were fixed on Yoongi, who got his moves wrong again. I smiled when I saw him looking so lost during the practice. Adorable.
The dance practice ended and Yoongi ranted on about how difficult the dance was. He whined like a little kid. I listened to everything he said and couldn't help but smile. However, sudden realisation hit me.
"Yoongi, is this a dream?"
He stopped talking and gave full attention to me. I looked down and played with my fingers nervously as I waited for him to answer my question.
""
He tugged my hair behind my ear and caressed my cheeks. I looked up at him and he smiled at me warmly. The way he looked at me made me feel safe. I wrapped my arms around his neck and placed my head on his shoulder. He hugged me back and it felt perfect.
"I just don't want to wake up then."
He pulled himself away from the hug and looked me in the eyes.
""
I nodded. I had always wanted to be with him. He was far from my reach and now that he's beside me, I don't want to leave.
"Yes."
