《Mistake is mine》Chapter 4

*Sneha Pov*
Everyday my daily routine is the same. I just browse something or help Bhabhi in cleaning the house or something else.
When kids come home in the afternoon as they are just studying LKG, I just spend my time with them in the evening. It has become a habit for them to sleep in my room every day.
And I drop them in their houses every day. As for Bhai I don’t know anything actually.
Today is Saturday and the time for Samrat’s share for dinner. Bhabhi already told me that she will be the one that cooks the dinner instead of him.
Seven corporations only have five working days. So everyone is staying in their houses.
But kids are not that lucky so they left to go to their school. After getting ready I went down towards the dining table and saw Bhai already sitting there with Bhabhi.
“Good morning!” I said greeting them.
“Good morning!” I got two replies. I am actually shocked because Bhai replied to me.
Maybe everyday he is just busy and that’s why he doesn’t reply?
While having breakfast I asked “So what is today’s plan?”
“Nothing that Samrat has left to bring some vegetables and groceries for today’s dinner. I am waiting for him actually.” Bhabhi said.
“But why so early?” I asked her confused.
She was about to reply but Bhai cut her off and said “That’s because he is an Idiot. He just begs Amy to cook his favorites when it was his time. And his list of favorites is so big.”
I am happy. No! Not because of the cooking list because Bhai just talked to me normally.
“Amy?” I asked confused.
Bhabhi immediately blushed and Bhai stuttered and said “That is.. umm… nickname… I kept for her.”
“Aww… How cute.” I said looking at them.
Someone else cleared their throat and we saw Samrat standing at the door of dining hall smirking at them.
“Yup! Totally cuteee….” He said dragging the word cute.

“See the idiot has arrived.” Bhai said making Samrat frown and we all burst out laughing.
“Did you bring everything?” Bhabhi asked him.
“Yes! I even made the list of my favorite dishes for today.” He said giving her the paper.
“Does it change every time too?” I asked no one in particular.
Bhai and Bhabhi just laughed by looking at the face he made after hearing my question.
“I will go and start preparations.” She said going inside the kitchen.
“I will help you Bhabhi.” I said following her.
“So where is the list.” I asked her.
She gave me and I saw nearly seven dishes.
“Is he really human?” I asked her in whisper.
“I heard that!” he shouted coming inside the kitchen.
“Good for you.” I said and started helping her.
“So Bhabhi is she just going to cut the vegetables or she will make anything?” He asked.
“Why?” she asked him smirking.
“Nothing just thinking that she doesn’t know anything to make.” He replied.
“Well if she doesn’t even know it’s ok. Because I learned when I am 22years.” She said.
He was about to reply but I cut him off and said “That ‘She’ is standing right beside you both. You are talking like I am not even here.”
“So Bhabhi, What’s up?” he asked.
She raised an eye brow and asked “For these few years you just always give me your list and just leave me alone. What happened today? You are actually trying to make a conversation.”
“Uhmm… nothing Bhabhi.” He said.
“Hey! You can’t call her ‘Bhabhi’. Only I can do it.” I said to him.
“I can call her like that.” he said taking a step forward.
“Seriously guys?” We heard Bhabhi asking us but we didn’t budged.
“No! I only can call my Bhabhi as ‘Bhabhi’.” I said taking a step forward.
“I can!” he said.

“She is my Bhabhi.” I replied.
“She is my Bhabhi.” He said mimicking me.
“You are really an Idiot like Bhai said.” I said to him and immediately heard many laughs from around us.
Then we saw everyone I mean everyone standing around us looking with amusement.
I just blushed a little and went near Bhabhi.
Ramesh was the first one to speak as he said “So we just came here for a reason. As tomorrow is Nag’s marriage day and we decided to gift them two day’s trip to a cruise.”
“Wow! That is so sweet but we can’t just leave kids alone for two days.” Bhabhi said immediately making Bhai frown.
“Bhabhi don’t worry. I will take care of them. You just go and enjoy.” I said.
“Wait! You guys didn’t tell me about your gift.” Samrat asked them.
“That’s because you can’t keep any secret.” Imran said.
“Then what about my dinner.” He said.
“Don’t worry I will prepare it.” I said and everyone looked at me shocked.
“What?” I asked them.
“You know how to cook?” Bhabhi asked me.
“Ofcourse I know. I learned when I am just 16years old and am still learning different things too.” I replied.
“But that is very small age right. Didn’t you have anything else to do?” Lakshmi asked.
I eyed all the boys and said “No I was just a little alone so I learned cooking.”
All the boys looked away from me immediately.
“Okay. Come on go and pack your luggage.” I said pushing Bhai and Bhabhi outside.
Even while leaving she kept on saying to take care of the kids and house.
I nodded to every request and finally they left. Remaining too left to leave me alone for preparing the food.
After some time Samrat entered the house and came near me.
“Smells very good.” He said little shocked.
“You didn’t think that I actually can cook right?” I asked him narrowing my eyes.
“I never know.” He replied.
“It’s ok. Even Bhai doesn’t know about that even though he ate the food I made many times.” I said sighing.
“Guess what? If you cook very well for today then I will take you to show you around the city tomorrow.” He said.
“But what about kids? We can’t leave them here.” I asked him.
“We will leave them for some time in somebody’s house. So deal?” he said.
“Deal!” I said.
After dinner I was waiting for everyone’s reactions. And thank god they are good ones. May I add very good ones actually.
As promised he took me to show some part of the city next day. And we left the kids at Ferod’s house.
It was so fun. I enjoyed doing this with him.
In the evening Bhai and Bhabhi returned and both looked kind of tired so I asked them to take rest and I will prepare the dinner even for today.
After preparing it I called everyone for the dinner. Now I just want Bhai’s reaction.
When he took a bite of the food he immediately stopped and tears started forming in his eyes.
“What happened?” Bhabhi asked.
“You learned cooking from Mom right?” He asked me.
I nodded unable to answer because I know it is just like how my Mom cooks for us.
“Thank you Sneha.” He said.
“You don’t have to.” I said.
He nodded and continued to eat very fondly. Everyone smiled at me and continued eating.
“You know your husband will be very lucky, because you just make very delicious food.” Mehtab said.
“Yup! He is very lucky.” Samrat said eyeing me.
I just smiled and ate my food. Bhai is warming up to me and I just hope we will be close like before…..
