So both Tess and Kyle were abducted...again.

This creates the horrible implication that the same awful, painful experience happened to them as toddlers.

In a way, everything Jade promised them was true. Tess and Kyle can now be together, don't have to run or fight for survival anymore, aren't having terrible health issues, and have reunited with other friends. Happy ending, right? Right?!

Jade also told them they would continue to deteriorate and eventually die if they didn't surrender. Maybe this was the only way they could have survived in any form.

What happened to Jason? What about the rest of Tess's friends who were scattered?

Did Matt survive?

Do other cities know about the alien presence? How is Tess's city handling it?

Are Tess and Kyle still present in their bodies somewhere? Do they have any control, or is there any hope of reversing what was done to them?

What is the alien species capable of, and what do they want?

The most obvious yet hilarious and absurd one: The Known(lol)

Or...Unknown 2: Electric Boogaloo

Or something with the "Un-" prefix.

(I'm divided between thinking it kind of works as a theme and thinking it's too obvious/cheesy. And it reminds me slightly of the Unwind series.)

for example:

Unconscious

Uncertain

Unreal

Untouchable

Unearthly

Unaware

Undone

etc.

Aside from that, I could pick a title completely different/unrelated to The Unknown, but I'm drawing a blank. :P

I might just title it Unknown Part II, especially because it might only be one book with two distinct parts.

So...feel free to let me know if you happen to have any thoughts or ideas about a title.

Also, a provisional cover:

I couldn't contact the original cover maker, and I didn't want to directly copy their style because that's not cool. But I guess I went for a somewhat similar yet different, fresh vibe, and used the same girl (magdalena zalejska). Maybe I will make a different one later, especially if I change the title. I'd like to have matching ones, but I also don't want to change the first one because I like it.

Lastly, I want to give a final huge thanks for taking the time to read this story. Can't thank y'all enough for motivating me to finish it and taking time from your lives to read my words. Can't believe it's all really happened...I've finally completed a book. :D

I will try to work hard (and faster) on the sequel for you. At some point, I will also do some cleaning up/rewriting of the early chapters of this story and maybe add pretty graphics and chapter titles.
