Bruce thanked the Hulk for finding extra clothes as he puts on the sweats as he change back, leaning against the wall to keep his breathing steady.

'I think we should alert Frigga of his location, and then tell the X-men of his words.' Hulk suggested, settling back in the brain of Bruce.

Bruce nodded and pushed himself off the wall and headed over to the briefing room, ignoring the many stares he was getting from a few SHIELD agents.

Strange smiled. "They're back." Everyone raised an eyebrow, but didn't question it.

"Has anyone seen Dr. Banner?" Frigga had called a meeting of all Avengers members while Hulk was still smashing outside. Steve shook his head, saying a simple "No ma'am." Thor also shook his head.

Hank was about to answer no until he saw Bruce entering into the room wearing nothing but sweatpants.

Loki raised an eyebrow, having stayed by his adoptive mothers side since she had come to Earth. "I see that you were a little upset Dr. Banner."

Tony stuck out his tongue at Loki, and walked over to Bruce. "Hey, everything okay?"

Bruce looked at the billionaire for a moment and nodded to him. "I know where both Doom and Xavier is at."

Everyone snapped to attention. "How do you know sir?" Frigga asked, surprised. "Yeah Brucie, Even JARVIS couldn't find them."

'Heh, I'm better than JARVIS.' Hulk chuckled at that.

"Xavier talked to the Hulk. He told me the location and about the cube's power making Doom go insane." Bruce told everyone.

"Shi....Shoot." Tony was careful around Frigga, more than he was around Pepper anyway. "Wh... What did he say? Anything we could use?"

Bruce looked back at the group staring at him and then back at Tony. "He told me the reason Doom is after the cube. He wants to destroy a strong bond that will end him and his fury."

"Wait, he knows the inscription?" Loki was shocked. "I read part of it, but it made no sense.

'Bruce, that cube was made for us. No other explanation.'

Bruce bit the inside of his cheek and asked the demigod "Anything else do you or even Thor or Frigga know about the inscription?"

"I studied the cube long ago. I do not know what that it...

"Yin and Yang are from Asian culture. Yin is good, Yang is evil. Take Loki and Thor, Thor would be Yin, light, truth, good. Loki is Yang, dark, lies, evil. At least during that battle in New York." Tony explained.

"Green at heart? Yin and Yang?" Bruce mutters to himself. This was starting to sound like him and Tony little by little.

"Dr Banner? Are you okay?" Reeds asked him when he notice he was quiet and tensing up a little.

"I have only the barest of knowledge. I only have seen five letters. BB, H and TS inside a heart shape ..." Everyone looked at Bruce and Tony.

"Motherfu..." Fury was, for the only time in his life he will ever admit it, shocked and surprised. The Hulk was speechless, as well as Tony and almost everyone else in the room. Bruce's eyes widen from all this. He looked away from the group as he leans against the wall and ran his hand through his hair. It all made sense now to him, but it was still hard to believe.

"Pardon my language ma'am, but holy fuck." Steve swore only one other time, and that's when they found out Coulson was still alive, and he had only said Damn.

"You got that right Cap... So the Tesseract, the most powerful cube I think I have ever seen, was made for Bruce and me..." Tony was still blown away.

"That's... that's just ridiculous right? I mean, It could be just stuff from legends." Clint said to anyone.

"What about those guys? They look legend to you?" Hank asked he archer, gesturing to where Thor, Loki, and Frigga were at.

"We have seen a lot of thing Clint, but this? This weirds me out to a whole new level." Tony sat down, hand running through his hair. "Wait... does this mean if Bruce gets a hold of the tesseract... we can stop Doom?"

Bruce looked up for a moment but was still in shock. "Bruce?..." Natasha said as she looked at the doctor. Bruce didn't say a word and when over to one of the many screens to type in the location he got from Xavier.

The location was at the magnetic North Pole. "If Doom killed Santa, we let Deadpool have caffeine and sicing him on the basted." Tony half joked, half wished that they did have a good reason to do so.

"Did somebody say my name?" The Merc with the Mouth in question jumped down from the roof, right behind the two assassins. Both Natasha and Clint moved away from the met before he could have a chance to throw his arms around them. Deadpool looked around. "What? I wanted to find out what the deal was. Maybe get another kiss."

"You actually kissed someone!?" Tony was stunned.

"Yeah, Punisher volunteered Peter. Cute guy, great kisser."

Loki eyed the merc. "Has anyone tried to silence him?"

"Doesn't work. I even had my head cut off. Fun day." Deadpool replied.

Bruce pushed himself away from the counter desk and walked out of the room, not wanting to deal with Deadpool's bullshit or now that fact that he and Tony were really meant for each other.

"Bruce? Brucie?" Tony watched at Bruce left, feeling the urge to follow him.

"Give him some space Son of Stark. He has learned much." Frigga said calmly. "And for you, pool of Dead,"

"That sounds really cool, so I'll listen to you." Deadpool smiled.

"... Please be silent, and do a patrol of the base outside." Deadpool stopped smiling.

Bruce didn't know whether to head back to the infirmary or to the breakroom or even to his quarters. He just kept on walking down the hallway, trying to accept what has happen and what's gonna happen to him.

'You okay?' Hulk asked. 'Because I'm not. Not really. This is a shock.'

'Its...it's gonna take some time to adjust. But we don't have any time at all what with Doom destroy half of the world... it really is all my fault.' Bruce sighed.

'... It's more my fault. If I wasn't created, you could have lived a normal life. No general hunting you down, no powerful box ready for whatever. Just you, some female, and maybe a few children.' Hulk was hit full on by the realization of what him being around has taken from the man.

'And get back to being shun by everyone and abused by the bastard? No...no this is a better life know for me. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to be as much help here or have met some of the greatest people ever. I would have never met Tony if it weren't for you...' Bruce told him.

'... Thank you.' Hulk still hated himself a little for messing up Bruces life, but it is true, without him, Bruce never would have met Tony. 'So now what? Earl Gray tea, or Green Tea?'

Bruce sighs quietly as he headed to the break room. 'Green tea my friend.'

Bruce smiles slightly when he saw Logan, someone he can easily talk to. "Found Xavier's locations and that only me and Tony can stop Doom and the Tesseract."

The spit-take done was beautiful. "You *cough cough* you talked to the professor!? Is he alright? Where is he?" And then a second later. "Wait, you and Tony are able to use the tesseract!?"

Bruce sighed again as he starts making his tea. "Doom has him in a lair up in the Arctic and he's using him to locate us or any other treat. As for the Tesseract...it's our bond that has to stop it." He explained to Logan.

"...." Logan set down his beer bottle, and procceded to drop like a sack of hammers. 'We just made Wolverine faint... Deadpool's going to throw a party.'

Back at the briefing room, everyone was now think of strategies for an attack. "When so you suggest we go to Doom's lair?" Janet asked Frigga.

"As soon as possible. I want every well bodied warrior ready for battle within the next two hours. We ride in three." She ordered. Everyone nodded to the palm and got up to get ready.

Bruce shook his head a little and kneel down to check on his friend. 'I think I just broke his mind...again.' He said to the Hulk.

'Not our fault.' Hulk slightly joked, waiting for the mutant to wake up. Bruce began to lightly slap Logan's face, trying to wake him up.

Logan groaned, sitting up. "Tell me I didn't just learn that you're linked up with the freaking Tesseract."

"Honestly, half of me wants me to wish it wasn't true. But it is." Bruce said as he helped Logan up on he feet.

"You have a lot on your plate now bub." Grabbing another beer, he holds it out to Bruce.

"No shit..." Bruce mutters as he took a sip of his tea, declining the beer. "I bet Tony doesn't feel to good about this either..."

Logan tipped his head in a You-Have-A-Point gesture. "Tony is probably shocked, but a little too happy about being super powerful... Say... You said you spoke with Charles, right?"

Bruce nodded and looked over at Logan. "He told be about the cube and that he hopes to se you and rest of the team and children soon."

Logan smiled a little smile, and nodded to Bruce. "Hey guys, we're rolling out in a few hours, Let's get down to business, to defeat, Doo-oom!" Deadpool ran off singing a parody version of Make A Man Out Of You.

Bruce finished his tea and said to the mutant "Meet you at the docks. Need to check on Beast and Strange once more."

"You got it." Logan went off, going to make sure no kids tried to join this battle.

Bruce reached over at the infirmary, but was surprised to see Tony there with the others. He thought by now he would be suit up and in one of the jets.

"Guys, I'm freaking out. What if when we get the cube, Doom broke it so after Bruce touches it, it explodes and kills him!? Or he uses it, and there is so much power he just implodes!? Or he becomes insane and we have to kill him!?" The ARC reacter was glowing brightly in his chest, showing how much work it was doing to make sure the organ would keep going. "What if Doom hurts Bruce or Hulk? What if one of them dies? What if they both die?"

"From what it say is true, then Banner would be ammune to the power of the Tesseract as long as he is in his Hulk from." Strange told the worried playboy.

"THAT DOESN'T HELP MY CASE STRANGE!" Tony yelled, pacing as he started having a panic attack.

"Tony, you need to calm down." Beast held a hand out to try and stop him.

"No! I could lose Bruce, and it would be all my fault! If I was never born, he may have been left out of this! I bet if I had died as a kid Bruce may have had a chance to just heal people in third world countries!" Tony let tears fall, showing more raw emotion to this many people than he ever have before.

Bruce heart sank even further down from what he witness, shaking slightly that Tony prefer him to have the life he had with just the Hulk, back to his suffering and loneliness, with no Tony. "You don't really wish that, Stark." Strange said sternly.

"That I don't wish what!? Bruce not being in danger of being killed by Doom? Bruce not being in some sort of prophicy? Bruce not having a life!?" Tony yelled.

Deadpool spoke up then. "Yeah I don't know man. I've seen the other side of the Fourth Wall. There are some worlds where he's been killed in very violent ways because Hulkie isn't there. Others where it's because you two never met, and a few where he thought that he could never have you and managed to off himself. So I think it's safe to say that the life he had here is better than what could happen."

Everyone looked over at the merc, not sure if his word really meant something to this situation or is just being a dick.

"What? I can't be a dick while helping out?" Deadpool crossed his arms. "Jerks. I should go bug our writer."

Strange glared at Deadpool, but it faded when he saw Bruce at the doorway.

Tony saw the others look behind him, and turned around, freezing still at the sight of Bruce. "B-Bruce... How much did you hear?"

"..." Bruce couldn't take so he just turn walk away, still heart broken at the fact Tony prefer him to stay at the horrible life he had without the Hulk or Tony.

Tony stayed frozen, his heart shattering into a billion pieces as he watched and heard Bruce walk away. It was then that he remembered that Bruce's father was abusive, and had killed his mother. "Oh god... I ruined everything..."

'He read your file right?' Hulk asked, hurt also by the word he heard. 'He knew what a crappy life you had right?'

Bruce didn't answer the Hulk as he continued to walk down the hallway, stopping at one point as he punched the wall. But it wasn't out of anger, just sadness, just to remind him of the pain.

'Careful. I can do that, but might break something.' Hulk sighed. 'He... Maybe he just didn't want us to be hurt? Maybe that's why he said what he did...'

Tony couldn't decide if he should go after Bruce, or if it would cause more damage.

Strange folded his arms and looked at Tony. "Well, do you want to go after him do you prefer me or possibly McCoy or Kurt here to do the job?"

"I don't know... I'm scared all I'll do is hurt him..." Tony buried his face into his hand, frustrated beyond all belief. "Why am I such an IDIOT!" He threw a punch at the closest wall, feeling a few bones break as he did so.

"Anthony that's enough! McCoy, Kurt, go see where Bruce went." Strange order as he grabbed Tony wrist from punching the wall again.

Tony just followed numbly. He was glad he broke his hand. He deserved it for hurting Bruce.

Bruce let himself sink to the floor and broke down quietly.

Hulk did his best to try and comfort Bruce. 'It will be alright... It has to...' Doesn't help that the Hulk was hurt too.

That sadden Bruce even more that his alter ego was heart broken as well.

'... is it my fault?...' The Hulk felt like a small child, worried that the reason his mother was crying was because of him. 'If I wasn't here... you would have died... But it's my fault you lost love, and my fault you could have died...'

Bruce didn't know what to say to the Hulk. His whole world he thought he knew and loved shattered. Why should he even bother getting the cube back now since the other bond didn't feel the same. Bruce leans his forehead against the wall as more tears escaped his eyes.

{You must fight for the light Bruce Banner.} A feminine voice said clearly, inside Bruces mind.

The other being living there freaked a bit. 'Who's there!? How did you enter our mind without me sensing you?'

{Because I am what you seek, and also what you fear.}

Bruce quickly stood up from the floor, slightly shaken from the sudden voice in his head. "What the hell is wrong with me?" He mutters to himself out loud.

{Nothing is wrong. I have grown tired of hearing only the voice of the one who controls me.}

'Are you saying... you're the Tesseract?' Hulk asked the unknown voice.

{Yes I am.} She answered.

"Oh fuck..." Bruce cursed quietly to himself. 'Are you telling me you've been inside me and that this whole prophecy with you, The Hulk,...and Tony... is all true?'

{Not inside, but waiting yes. I'm trapped. Inside the cube until you can free me, and I may use my power for what I wish then.} Hulk didn't say a word, too shocked.

"Wait! Now you grant wishes?' Bruce asked, finding it very hard to believe. He suddenly heard Strange calling for him.

{In a sense, yes. I believe the reference is "Help me Obi Wan Kanobi, you're my only hope."} And then the Tesseract was gone.

'What. Was. That?' Hulk thought, extremely confused.

Bruce just stood thee in shock. Strange went over to him and saw the scientist looked pale.

'Bruce? Bruce are you okay?' The Green Gamma Being wished he could poke Bruce, see if he could get some reaction. 'Bruce Dr. Strange is calling you.'

Bruce looked over at the magician and nodded slightly. "We should go to the jets then." Bruce said quietly.

Tony stood in his suit, when he heard a voice in his head, sort of like a telepath. {Take care of you and Bruce, I care deeply about you both.} Tony wondered who she was. {I am the one you seek, for my power is being used to kill.}

Bruce, Strange, and the rest headed over to the jets. Bruce looked around seeing so many of his friends and allies gearing up until he stopped and saw Tony.

'So you're the Tesseract?' Tony asked, not believing what he was hearing.

{Yes.}

'Uh huh... I'm going to go fly off to battle Doom now, please hold on Miss. Hallucination.' Tony turned and his eyes locked with Bruce's.

Bruce froze slightly at their eyes locked. Breathing in slightly, the physicist decided to go bold and walk over to Tony.

"Bruce..." Tony wasn't sure if Bruce would forgive him, but he had to try. He had to. "Bruce I'm sorry... For everything you heard, and the bits you might have missed... I... I'm so sorry..."

Bruce looks at the engineer for a moment and wrapped his arms tightly around him, burying his head into his armored shoulder. "I know.....I'm scared too...."

Tony hit a button so his helmet would come off, freeing his head instead of just his face, and hugged Bruce right back. "Scared is being a little worried. I'm fucking terrified. The only other time I was like this is when I was in the cave in Afghanistan."

Bruce hugs him tightly as he felt a few tears build up. "I don't want to loose you.."

Tony buried his face into the top of Bruce's head, taking in his particuler scent. "I don't want to loose you either. I just got you, and I don't like sharing." He tightened his grip a bit, pulling Bruce even closer.

"What ever happens out there. Whether we win or not, I'll always love you." Bruce told him quietly, not wanting to let go as well.

Tony smiled, and pulled back enough to tip Bruce's head up and kiss his square on the mouth. Bruce closed his eyes and kissed him back softly, cupping his face and neck gently as they kissed.

Tony held it for a good amount of time, everyone else in the room forgotten. Tony put all his emotion into the kiss, a tear falling as he held as tightly as he could without breaking anything. Deadpool had made a joke by putting up a screen, with the words on it.

Bruce didn't pay any attention to anyone around them as they kiss, focusing on the one person that matters to him now. Tears escaping as he pours all his loved and devotion into their kiss.

Tony finally pulled back, love and devotion in his eyes as he opened them. "I love you. And when this is all over, I'll show you how much."

Bruce nodded to him and leans his forehead against Tony, touching his reactor gently. "I love you too. And I swear on my and the Hulk's life that we'll protect you, along with the others too."
