Bruce let out a sigh in relief and smiles at little at his friend, a small tear escaping his eyes. "Hey..."

Tony slowly opened his eyes, and softly grinned at the sight of Bruce. "Brucie... Hey... Science... Bro..." He tried to move, wanting to sit up, but was still weak. "What... happened?"

"Five days ago, we were attacked. The Other Guy tried to protect you but the enemy did something to you to put you in a coma. But, you're all better now." Bruce told him, helping the genius to sit up at little without hurting him.

"He... did? ...Man... I owe... Hulk... a lot..." Tony coughed, his throat very dry. "Water... please... doc..."

Bruce nodded and quickly headed over to get Tony a bottle of water. "Here you go." he said, carefully handing the bottle to him.

Tony drank as slowly as he could, despite wanting to gulp it down as fast as he can. Too much when he hasn't had any for a while is dangerous. After finishing a little under half, he put it down. "Thanks Bruce... Where's everyone... else?"

"In the other room. They'll....they'll helped me break out of my prison." Bruce told him quietly.

Stranger: "You... were in prison? Why?" Tony was completely confused. "Last think I remember... was Hulkie standing over me... punching the head right off a robot."

"They thought I was the reason you were in a coma. They thought I hurt you...... just like the other times when I tried to help." the scientist said sadly.

Tony frowned. "Well, get someone who will listen in here... And I'll set the record straight." Tony was starting to get tired, but wanted to make sure Bruce wasn't going to get glares while he did rest.

Bruce nodded a little, still holding on to Tony's hand. "I'm so glad you're okay now, Tony. I didn't what I'd do if I lost you."

"Hey... I'm Tony Stark... I'm always okay." Tony smirked, squeezing Bruces hand gently. Hulk let out a happy roar.

Bruce smiles back at him, squeezing his hand back. "Still, I'm very glad you're here now. You're the only one who treats me as an equal around here."

"I treat everyone as they deserve to be treated... Except maybe Fury... But I can never tell if that guy is mad at me... or is smiling on the inside." Tony joked.

Bruce chuckles a little and moved a little closer to his side of the bed. "Need anything else, Tony?"

"Can I have a cheeseburger?" The request came at once.

Bruce chuckles again and nodded. "I'll see if I can get someone for the team to fetch you one."

Tony laughed, and closed his eyes, falling into a light sleep.

Bruce smiles a little at the sleepy playboy, slowly letting go of his hand to head back to where the team is at.
