I walked out of the lift, the memory of seeing Toko's body lying there, crushed and pulverised. It made me feel.. sad but also thankful, in a strange sense. I was glad Mukuro had been avenged. She didn't deserve what happened. Now, all trace of Junko was gone, her life, her sister...
I sighed as I walked along the corridor, brushing the dust off of my dress before unlocking my dorm and walking inside. I didn't know quite how to feel. My emotions were a mess. Coming to terms with Junko's and Mukuro's deaths was harder than I thought. Even Chihiro's and Aoi's deaths... but Toko's death... I didn't really care. She was just like another job I had to take care of for me. Toko was never more than another person in my eyes. Everyone else was someone I considered a friend. If none of this ever happened, maybe we could have been friends, but we just never had the chance to properly connect.
I laid down on my bed, curling up into a ball as the nighttime announcement went off. I pulled the covers over me, hugging them. Monokuma's voice ran in my ears as I drifted off, my eyes slowly shutting.
~꧁꧂~
'Hey, Y/N,' I heard the familiar voice behind me, I turned around to see Junko grinning at me.
'Hey, Junko! I like the new outfit,' I crossed my arms as I smiled at her, looking at her new clothes.
'You do? It was for the latest shoot we did, you should stop by some time, I'm sure the photographer would love for you to be an extra model,' She smiled.
'Someone like me? You've got to be joking, I doubt someone like me would ever make it to a fashion cover when you're around,' I laughed as I imagined someone like myself wearing something like that. I could never pull that off. I pulled a book out of my pocket, to be more specific, my hit list. 'I'm guessing you want someone gone?' I twirled a pen around my fingers.
'Oh, very clever. I don't want someone killed however, just where they are,' She twisted her hair around her finger. 'You'll get a reward of course...'
'Alright, who'd you want tracking down?' I opened the pen as I pressed its tip down onto the paper.
'I need you to track down I-'
~꧁꧂~
I woke up suddenly, monokuma's voice echoed throughout the room. I had a dream... about Junko. I guess I still wasn't able to come to terms with her death after all. It seemed so real, so vivid, like I was really there. I sighed as I pulled myself out of the bed. I quickly took a shower before changing and heading to the cafeteria.

'Good morning,' I said quietly as I sat down next to Celeste. I felt as if everyone was wary of me... I was a hitman after all, a killer.
'Would you like an apple?' Celeste handed one over to me, smiling gently as she did so. I took it from her nodding appreciatively.
'If you're a killer how do we know you won't kill any of us?' Leon looked over at me suspiciously, his eyes were slanted.
'I only kill when I'm paid to. I have no reason to kill you so I won't,' I spat as I bit into the apple. I felt my fist clench up as I spoke. Damn you Toko, why did you have to leave my secret there.
'No running in the halls!' I heard someone yelling from outside.
'What are you going to do about it?' Someone yelled in response.
'I think there's going to be a fight,' Hiro exclaimed.
'We didn't need the ultimate clairvoyant to find that out,' I scoffed, rolling my eyes as I walked out to see what was happening.
Mondo and Taka were yelling at each other, Makoto and Sayaka between them. Mondo had a look of fury on his face while he cracked his knuckles, looking down at his opponent. Taka looked worried but also as equally mad. Makoto tried to edge his way out along with Sayaka but mondo wouldn't let them go.
'You can't leave, you're the witnesses!' He pounded his fists.
'Witnesses..?' Makoto trailed off, a look of shear terror on his face.
'To our battle of course!' Taka yelled with pride.
'Yeah! And I'll beat you!'
'I'll never let you win! Let's face off to end You're reign of breaking rules!'
I slowly walked away from the arguing idiots. They're really strange. I climbed up the stairs, noticing the third floor had opened up. I guess every time someone died, we got a new area to explore. I opened up my map to view it briefly.
I first explored the two classrooms. They looked just like every other one, notes on the board with drawings and colourful wallpapers. Honestly, there was nothing special about them.
The next room I entered was the rec room. There was a stack of magazines of shelves and various games and odd things in there. As I examined the magazines, I came across Junko's face. All of the sadness rushed back to me. What happened to you, Junko? Why did you do it?
'Knock, knock,' Celeste appeared behind me.

'Oh! Celeste, I didn't see you there,' I chuckled slightly.
'That's the real Junko, correct? I'm guessing you knew her personally,' She sighed as she took the magazine from me, putting it back with the others. 'Try not to dwell on it, let's examine the rest of this floor first,' She took me by the hand, leading me out of the room.
We entered the art room together and I gasped. It was beautiful. Although, I never had time to do art of my own, I still admired it greatly. I still remembered trying one time to draw, it ended in a disaster. But, I suppose my own ways of killing could be considered an art, no matter how gruesome it was. I looked at the Canvases, admiring the sketch work as I tried to push all the thoughts out of my head.
'You have an eye for art?' Celeste looked up at me.
'Yes, I've always found it amazing, I've just never had much time for it. 'What about that room?' I walked over to the door, gently opening it.
It was a repository, inside were art supplies like canvases, hammer, chisels and so much more. I sat down on the trolley, smiling as I did so. 'If I break my leg I can use this to get around,' I laughed slightly.
'Try not to do something as reckless as that,' She chuckled, looking at the hammers carefully.
'I'll try,' I sighed, laying back. 'What do you think happens after death?'
'After death? Well, do you want a nice answer or a bad one?'
'Nice one,'
'Everyone goes to heaven where they can party and play games all play, laughing and cheering together, forever,' She smiled painfully.
'What's the bad one?'
'After death, it's nothing. It's all dark, you can't think, can't move. You're just nothing,' She said as I stood back up.
'Let's just look at the last room, I want to go and read, but I want to see what's there first,'
The next room we entered seemed to be a science lab, With an odd machine in the middle. 'What is that thing?' I tapped on it.
'That is a time machine!' Monokuma appeared 'Built by a former hopes peak student!'
'A time machine...?' I raised an eyebrow.
'Correct!'
'Could I go back and save Junko and Mukuro then..?' I said quietly.
'Bahahahaha!' Monokuma burst out. 'Just kidding! This is an air purifier! That's all I'm going to say for now,' He disappeared before I could punch him.
'Damn him!' I stomped on the ground.
'Y/N, calm down... maybe you should go read, or we can go take a bath with the other girls, we all need to relax,' Celeste placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder.
'I think I'll go read, thanks anyway,' I weakly smiled.
I pushed her away as I walked away and down the corridor. Monokuma was just toying with us. We were just toys, that's all. Once this game is over, I doubt we'll actually be freed. He'd probably just kill us as well.
I walked into the Library. I noticed Byakuya already sitting there. I picked up a book and slid into the seat next to him. 'I'm sorry I didn't tell you my secret before it was revealed,' I said quietly.
'It was your decision to tell or not, I didn't have a right to force it out of you. But,' He paused 'thanks for not telling anyone mine,' He looked away from me.
'It's fine,' I smiled at him 'You've changed,'
'Changed? How so?' He raised an eyebrow.
'Well, you'd usually tell me to go away and insult me. But, you're not,' I grinned 'Not very Byakuya of you,'
He paused before speaking 'I don't usually find people with the same passion for reading as much as I do. But, that doesn't mean you're a friend. Just someone I can tolerate,' He shrugged.
'You seriously can't tolerate anyone else? I'm fairly sure I'm the only person alive right now in this school whose actually a killer, and you choose to tolerate me of all people?' I scoffed.
'Don't make me change my mind,' He scowled 'Besides, you're useful for investigations,'
'Glad you think so,' I grinned before going back to reading my book.
He was odd person to say the least. When I first met him, I assumed he was a rich jerk who only cared for himself. But, after learning his secret, I think he's still a rich jerk who cares for himself but I believe he has the ability to care for others. If he will ever care for others, is beyond me.
However, even if he doesn't acknowledge me as a friend... he'll still be one of mine.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
