Bip, bip, bip, sounded the machine, just to show that Yasmin was still alive. She had bandages on her arm and forehead. She looked so peaceful, laying down on the hospital bed, with different machines plugged to her. Thank God she is alive. Today, I am finally starting to believe that there is a God out there after all. Maybe this is a test from him, to make me appreciate having this sweet woman in my life. I can't believe I nearly lost her today. I put the blanket on top of her fragile self, give her a kiss on the forehead before going outside of the room to talk to the doctor

"Thank you so much doctor for saving her life. She is going to be alright, right?" I asked hopeful

"Your wife is a fighter, she will survive this" she said not smiling

"Thank God, that is the best news I've gotten all day" I said smiling, however, I was not expecting the next thing she said

"She will survive, because she is strong, but the accident had a strong impact on her pregnancy, your baby was not so lucky"

I look on my left and see her purse there. I walk over and look for her phone. After finding it, I bring it to her in hope of calming her. She takes it, and few seconds later it was facing me

"Are you going to deny this?" She asked me. Even with the broken screen, I could see the picture clearly, it was Isabella and I and from that picture and angle, it looked like we were making out. Don't tell me she believed I was cheating on her

"Yasmin I swear it's not what it looks like"

"I hate you Malik, I hate you so much" she told me with tears in her eyes. I've never seen her like that, eyes filled with sadness and hate?

"My baby" she cried,

I wanted to comfort her so much, but I know I am the last person in this world she wants to see, but I ignore that and just take her in my arms. She started resisting and finally gave up and continued to sob.

She calmed down and few seconds later, her eyelids were close

"Don't worry, the shot was to force her to sleep, due to her reaction. I was hoping that you would make this less dangerous, to no avail. She will be sleeping here the whole night, might as well get comfortable or you can go back home, and try to get some rest" She told me with sad eyes

"Yeah, I will just stay here, and try to rest" I answered him. Only if he knew rest was far from my mind tonight
