"Rosalie and Emmett, you two go hunt first. Carlisle, Edward, and I will wait back here with Theresa" Esme said as the Cullen family and Theresa sat in the Cullen's living room.
Theresa stood up from the couch before speaking, "No, please, go. You guys all need to hunt to keep your strength up. I'll be fine here alone for a few hours."
"I don't know-" Carlisle said, but was cut off by Theresa, "Please-" Theresa said before continuing to speak, "I already feel like a burden. All I'm going to do is sleep anyway."
"Fine, but make sure you lock the door to Jasper's bedroom" Carlisle said as Theresa nodded.
"Goodnight" Theresa said to the Cullens as she walked up the stairs towards Jasper's room before closing the door behind her.
Theresa slid down the door before finally sitting on the floor.
Millions of thoughts ran through Theresa's head.
"Do I really want to do this?"
"What will happen to Bella if I don't do this?"
"Will James really go after Jasper?"
These were only a few of her thoughts and worries, but she decided to not listen to them.
Theresa stood up from the floor and watched from one of the windows in Jaspers room to see the Cullen's running off into the forest to hunt. She knew she had only a little bit of time before they were back.
Theresa waited until she saw the last Cullen, who was Carlisle, look around to make sure everything was safe before running into the woods behind his family. Once he was gone she walked over towards Jaspers door, opened it, and gave his room one last look before closing the door behind her.
She quickly ran down the steps of the Cullen's house, making sure to not slip and fall, before grabbing a pair of keys and running outside to where the cars were parked.
She hit the unlock button and saw that the Jeep was the car these keys belonged to before running towards it and getting in.
Has she driven a car before? No. Was she going to try to drive this car? Yes.
"Dear God, please help me not crash this car" Theresa prayed before starting up the car and driving away from the Cullen's house.

Theresa got out of the cab and stood in front of the ballet studio.
She hoped that the Cullen's would figure out that she was in Phoenix by the clues she left.

Parking the Jeep at the airport, using Jasper's credit card to pay for the plane ticket and lastly, Theresa took out her phone and sent Jasper her location.
She hoped that it would be enough as she took a deep breath before walking into the ballet studio.
The doors closed behind her with a slam, causing Theresa to jump.
She took a few steps into the ballet studio before being stopped in her tracks by him, "Theresa, did you really think you could hide from me?"
Theresa jumped, startled by James, but still turned around to face him.
"You humans are very stupid, it was so easy to get you here."
"Well, you're not much smarter" Theresa said as James walked towards her.
"And how's that?" He asked her, tilting his head.
"The scent you were tracking wasn't mine, it was Bella's" Theresa said with a smile on her face, which angered James.
One moment Theresa was standing by the door and the other she was slammed against a glass wall, glass shattering around her, and being held up by her throat.
"I'll give you that your smarter than most humans, given your situation." James said as he held a camera up in front of her face.
"What do you mean?"
"Don't play dumb with me Tess" James said, using her nickname, "You don't know what you are, do you?" James laughed before changing the subject, "Did you think you could save her?" James asked Theresa, changing the subject.
James tightened his grip around Theresa's neck, "Do you really believe that I won't catch her?"
"All I had to do was give them time" Theresa said, pausing to take a deep breath before continuing, "And I did. So now they can kick your ass before you even get to touch a strand of her hair."
James let go of Theresa's neck, causing Theresa to fall to the ground and gasp for air, but she was quickly cut off by James picking her up from the floor and throwing her against another wall.
"Tell Jasper to avenge you! Tell him!" James yelled as he used his vampire speed to run over to Theresa and record her in pain.
"No."
James tilted his head to the side, "You just really want to die?"
"No, I just really don't like you" Theresa said as she gripped a piece of broken glass in her hand and brought it up to his stomach, stabbing him, causing him to double over in pain.

He took the blade out of his stomach, Theresa noticed that he had no blood where he was stabbed, her blood was the only blood left on the shard of glass.
James inspected the shard of glass before bringing it up to his mouth and licking Theresa's blood off of it, "Your blood certainly isn't as sweet as hers, but it's not bad."
"You know, I can tell what you are just by smelling you, but this-" James said, pausing to hold up the shard of glass covered in Theresa's blood, "This just proves it."
James smiled before walking back over towards Theresa.
He grabbed her bloody hand and brought it up to his face.
"Don't touch me" Theresa said angrily as she tried to get her hand out of his grip, but instead was cut off by him crushing her hand in his.
"Ahh!" Theresa cried out in pain as James laughed.
"A little too late for that now, isn't it?" James asked her as he let go of Theresa's, now broken, hand.
"Victoria would love to hear that I drank from the " James said before biting into Theresa's neck.
"Stop!" Theresa screamed out in pain as James sunk his teeth further into her neck.
Theresa tried to grab for something, anything, but she was loosing her strength with every drop of blood he sucked from her.
Suddenly, the doors opened and James let go of Theresa.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the lovely Bella."
Theresa's eyes widened as she looked over James shoulder to see Bella standing there.
"Bella! Run!"
"Ahh!" Theresa yelled out as James stepped on her already broken hand, the crunching sound making Bella wince.
"It's me you want, not her" Bella said as James smiled and tilted his head.
"Two for the price of one."
"They'll kill you" Theresa said, the pain clear in her voice.
"I don't think they will. No one knows where you are" James said as he turned around to face Theresa.
"Fun fact dumbass," Theresa said, trying to talk through the pain, "I shared my location with them" She said as the window shattered, and in flew Edward, who quickly tackled James and began to fight him.
Theresa watched as James pushed Edward into a glass wall and ran back over to Bella, stepping on her leg, crushing it, causing her to scream out in pain.
"Bella!" Theresa yelled, trying to get up, but ultimately failing and falling back onto the ground.
She watched as Edward tackled James before being thrown towards another wall, this time Edward struggled to get up. She watched as James grabbed Bella's forearm and brought it up to his mouth.
"No!" Theresa yelled as she used all the strength she had left to raise her hand and push James away from Bella, light flew out of her hand, pushing James into a wall, but not before he bit her.
"Shit" Theresa said as she heard Bella scream out in pain.
She tried to get up again to run over to help her friend, but stopped as she saw Edward run over to her.
"Tess!"
Theresa turned her head to see Alice standing there.
"I'm okay, check on Bella."
"Tess you're not okay!" Alice yelled as Theresa saw Jasper run into the dance studio.
"Jasper-" Theresa said as Jasper kneeled down next to her, but was cut off by Jasper.
"Why did you do this Theresa?" He asked her, worry laced in his voice.
"" Theresa corrected with a small smile on her face as Jasper shook his head, "Not the time Theresa" He said as Theresa took a deep breath before speaking again, "Jas?"
"Yes?"
"He bit me."
Jasper's eyes widened as he looked at Theresa's neck to see a bite mark prominently pierced into her skin, blood flowing out of it.
"Jasper" Alice said, gaining his attention, "You're not going to be able to stop if you try to suck the venom out."
Jasper looked behind him to see Carlisle helping Bella.
"I have to try!" Jasper yelled before turning to Alice, "If I don't stop, You need to do anything to get me away from her, even if it means killing me. Do you understand me Alice?" Jasper asked her as Alice shook her head, refusing to kill her brother whether he was blood related or not, "Jasper-" Alice said, but was cut off by Jasper yelling at her, "Do you understand me!?"
Alice looked at Jasper before looking at Theresa, who was covered in blood, and then turned back to Jasper before speaking, "Yes."
Jasper nodded and took a deep breath before turning his attention to Theresa.
"I'm sorry darlin'" Jasper said to Theresa.
The last thing Theresa saw was Alice's worried face before she fell asleep.
