Theresa was shocked to say the least when she saw that Jasper had stayed the whole night at the police station, waiting for her and Charlie to be done whatever needed to be done for her father.

As she stepped out of Charlie's office and saw him, he stood up from his chair, where he was sitting most of the time, immediately, the two looked at eachother for a moment before Theresa's eyes began to tear up again and she immediately ran to him.

He caught her in his arms as she ran into them.

"Hey now, it's gonna be okay" He whispered into her ear as she sobbed into his shoulder, his fingers running through her dark brown locks of hair, as Charlie walked out of his office.

"I, um, got some paperwork I gotta do" Charlie, eyes red from crying and obviously tired and stressed out from the day he's had, said to Jasper, pausing to scratch his head before continuing, "Would you mind-" He asked Jasper, but was cut off by the Cullen boy, "I'll make sure she gets home safe."

"Thank you Jasper. You really are a good kid."

Bella opened the door as soon as she saw Jasper and Theresa driving up the street towards the house.

She ran out to the car as soon as they parked and Theresa got out of the car quickly before running to her, the girls meeting in the middle of the lawn and embracing eachother in a hug.

"Let's get you inside" Bella said as they pulled away from the hug and she wiped Theresa's tears from her face.

"That sounds good" Theresa said as she began to walk, but not before turning around to see Jasper smiling at her from his car.

"Wait" She said to Bella, turning around to give her her full attention.

"Yes?"

"I-" Theresa said, stopping as she looked back at Jasper, tears forming in her eyes.

"Jasper" Bella said, understanding that Theresa wanted to be near him, nodding towards the house, inviting Jasper in.

"Let's go darlin'."

Jasper had just made sure that Theresa had a hot cup of tea next to her on her nightstand to calm her down before he tucked Theresa into bed.

Jasper had gotten up from Theresa's bed, thinking she was asleep, but was stopped by her calling his name, "Jasper?" Theresa asked, causing Jasper to turn around and give her his full attention.

"Tess" Jasper said with a small smile on his face.

"An animal did not do that to my father" Theresa said seriously, with no emotion.

Jasper sighed before placing his hand on the doorknob, "Get some rest Theresa, you've had a long day." That was the last thing Jasper said to Theresa before closing the door to her bedroom.

Theresa had just gone asleep when the rest of the Cullen children showed up to the Swan residence.

"It wasn't an animal attack, was it?" Bella asked, standing up, as the Cullen family all sat in the Swan's living room, except for Jasper who was pacing with Bella.

"No and she knows that" Jasper said, leaning against the wall that opened to the doorway.

"If this is going to go any farther between the two of you, she needs to know the truth" Bella said, sternly, as she stopped pacing and looked Jasper straight into his eyes.

"Her life will be put in danger" Jasper said, shaking his head.

"Her life already is with a blood thirsty vampire on the loose" Bella argued, crossing her arms.

"Besides," Bella said looking at Jasper before continuing to speak, "If you don't tell her she'll find out on her own. Whether that means figuring out that you are all vampires or hunting down and finding the ones that killed her father."
