《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Alternate Ending

It had been 10 years since you'd graduated from UA. Your time there was just a blur in your busy day to day. Your life had become very different than what you had imagined all those years ago. It had taken some time but your relationship with Hoshi had turned into something more than friends. He was one of the reasons your following had grown to what it was today. When you first graduated you had tried the whole hero thing and it was fun while it lasted. Starting out as a sidekick at an agency like most graduates do. You'd only really kept in contact with Jirou and Mina, the three of you briefly lived together because your agencies were so close.

But soon after starting your new profession, your social media presence began to skyrocket. You had gained a few million followers from Hoshi when the two of you were together, but when you inevitably broke up your platform continued to grow at a steady rate. At some point it had become overwhelming and ended up making you rethink your career choice entirely. Kyoko still represented you as a hero, she helped you keep up with public appearances. But it soon became apparent that you'd make more money going back to modeling and advertisements.

You decided to give it a shot, dropping your job as a hero and reverting back to your old life. You'd been approached by many brands hoping you would be the face of their company, even designers wanted you during their shows and they asked you to attend things like New York fashion week. Today your Instagram sat at around a 100 million followers, something that still boggled your mind. Your name had become a staple in the industry, well known by people around the world, no longer just certain areas of America and Japan.

Early on when you were first brought back you had taken an interest in learning design, Mitsuki even let you apprentice with her for a while. She still worked with you and she would make you clothes whenever she felt inspired by you. But even though you worked closely together you never once saw Bakugou. He was too busy pursuing the spot of number 1 and if he did stop by it was usually the days you weren't there.

The two of you had drifted apart after your brief time together. It wasn't awkward for too long, the both of you would have to talk every once in a while, because of your brother, but by your third year you were able to hold a normal conversation. You weren't friends by any standards, but he was forced into your life because of Eijiro so you'd have to put up with him.

In those 10 years after graduation you hadn't seen him once in person. Only through the screen of a television or a cell phone. He had gained popularity as well for his acts of heroism, he climbed the hero chart and within the last year he and a few other graduates from UA had made it into the top 5. It seemed to be a battle as to who would pull ahead of the other, Bakugou and Midoriya were both fighting for the top spot. The last time the rankings were announced Midoriya had managed to grab the 3rd slot with Bakugou behind him at 4th. You remembered Mitsuki complaining that her son was in a constant bad mood whenever she saw him after that and slowly she stopped seeing him at all as he threw himself into work.

But that all might change now, or it would only get worse. The new ranks had been announced the other day, you remember catching snippets of it playing in Mitsuki and Masaru's office, both of them were always so proud of what their son had accomplished. Midoriya had been ranked 2nd which wasn't all that shocking to you. What was surprising was that Bakugou hadn't been put amidst the others already ranked. But it's not like he didn't make the top 10. After his first time being placed on the list, he was always on it. Mitsuki's and Masaru's nerves were quickly quieted when their son was ultimately named the number one hero. It was all they could talk about and you were happy for both them and Bakugou, but you still couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness at the thought of him. The two of you ended on such a bad note and things were never really wrapped up.

Today you found yourself in the middle of a shoot, but each day was different. Kyoko kept you busy with things to do at every moment of the day. Mitsuki had designed the last dress used during this particular shoot. It was a satin; blood red material and it was absolutely gorgeous as per usual. She had become accustom to using red when thinking of you. She didn't always use it, but she said the color had begun to remind her of you.

You checked your phone during your breaks and found messages from Jirou and Mina, both of them seemed excited about tonight. Their excitement was contagious, you were giddy about finally being able to see them again. UA had invited the entirety of your graduating class back for a reunion. This included all the students from the general studies, business, support and hero courses. You hadn't seen Jirou or Mina in months, the both of them too busy with hero work, while you were constantly moving around for your job.

As the shoot came to an end, you found a free mirror to fix up your appearance a bit while the set was taken down. Mitsuki had given you the dress from the shoot, so you figured you'd wear it tonight. As you touched up your make up, you decided to leave your hair the way the hairdresser had put it up, knowing it would look like a total mess if you took it down. It was up in a sort of bun with loose strands hanging out. It was messier than when it was first done, but it didn't look completely terrible.

Honestly, you were a tad bit over dressed for the occasion, but you really didn't care. After being under the watch of the media you learned not to be so self-conscious all the time. Probably something that helped you get over how much you detested this line of work. In high school you had begun to find your work unbearable, but now what you did left you feeling confident and secure with yourself.

The ding of your phone pulled you from what you were doing, your brother texted to let you know he was there to get you. He had offered you a ride as his agency was only around the corner. Grabbing your things, you headed outside, the two of you talked about trivial things like work as he drove. Eijiro didn't spend much of his money on lavish things, but you did convince him to treat himself to a luxury car. The drive was short, as you both caught up.

UA held your reunion at the school, decking out one of their many large conference-like rooms. They had changed the scenery completely, masking the room in an array of decorations. The second you walked in you felt like you were in an entirely different place, no longer at your old high school. The theme they had gone with had been a casino night, probably hoping to swindle their alumni of some money to pay for all the things they offered.

Standing next to your brother you spotted Mina across the room. Grabbing his arm you both made your way over to the small group of your old friends. The squeals of excitement were probably heard by half the people in attendance when Mina spotted you. She rushed to give you a hug.

"I can't believe it's been so long! I've miss you like crazy!" The two of you gushed over each other, as you both questioned how the other had been.

"You look amazing tonight and that dress," Mina's eyes went wide as she gestured to what you were wearing.

"Thanks," you smiled, "It was just what I was wearing at work."

She rolled her eyes at you, "To be able to dress like that for work."

Your conversation was cut short as multiple people began to yell and clap throughout the room. You both turned in confusion as the sudden commotion erupted in the crowd. And then you saw the culprit of the abrupt applause, he was making his way to your group of friends, completely eating it up. His conceited and confident smile plain on his face as everyone congratulated him. Katsuki Bakugou, the now named number 1 hero.

His appearance on TV had not done him justice. He was inexplicably more attractive than he was in high school, his muscles evident even through the dress shirt he had on. His eyes caught yours for a brief moment before he was pulled away into your brothers' group of friends, Sero and Denki included.

Denki? That must mean...

And as you turned around you found Jirou making her way over to your small huddle. You and Mina instantly rushed to her side.

"Let me see it, let me see it!" Both of you excitedly said in unison.

Jirou gave a shy smile, before she placed her hand in front of you, showing off the ring Denki had given to her. You all screamed in excitement as you pulled her into a hug.

"Tell us everything!" Mina demanded.

Jirou explained the night and how Denki proposed, the two of you hanging on her every word as she spoke. You were so happy for her; she was finally marrying her high school sweetheart. Hero work had gotten in the way too many times, but finally things had settled down enough for them to take the next step.

"Enough about me! Tell me about you guys, especially you," Jirou pointed her finger at you. "Have you started dating anyone yet? Or are you still too busy with work?" She gave you an exasperated look.

You only chuckled, "It's just hard sometimes. When most people know who you are, you don't know their true intentions."

"Sometimes I forget how well known you are," Mina laughed. "I caught a couple of my work study students talking about you and when I told them we were friends they laughed and thought I was lying. I had to show them pictures of us and the evidence that you followed me on Instagram for them to finally believe me. It's like they forget you went to UA."

The three of you laughed as you continued to catch up, it wasn't long before your throat felt dry from all the talking. You told them you'd be back and headed out into the giant room to find something to drink. Walking through the sea of people you finally found a refreshment table. Filling up a cup with some water you felt someone come up beside you. A quick glance and you found Bakugou next to you, his eyes not daring to look away as you caught him staring down at you.

"You know if you take a picture it'll last longer," you smirked up at him.

He rolled his eyes, "Aren't you tired of people taking your picture by now?"

You didn't say anything, instead you shook your head with a smile as your response.

"So, your boyfriend's just going to leave you alone all night?" He questioned.

"Boyfriend?"

"Well, you're not married, so I figured you came with a boyfriend," he shrugged, going to take a drink of his own water.

"How do you know I'm not married? Are you keeping tabs on me Katsuki?" You asked with a sly grin.

He instantly choked at your words and went straight into a coughing fit. "No! You just don't have a ring, so I just assumed." He threw his hands up like that explained everything.

You laughed at his reaction, "If you must know, I didn't bring anyone here with me. I'm just a bit too busy at work to be worrying about stuff like that. What about you Mr. Pro Hero? I'm sure you've had girls falling at your feet and now that your number one, I bet they're just lining up."

He rolled his eyes, he had gone on a few dates out of high school, but most of them were too vapid and uninteresting for him to even think about going on a second.

"I guess you could say I'm married to my job."

You nodded in understanding before you sighed, the heat of the room had become almost unbearable. "I need some air; I'm going to head outside." He walked with you as you turned towards the exit. "You know you don't have to come with me if you don't want to."

"Tch, and what kind of pro would I be if I let you go out alone."

You scoffed, "You do know I still have my license, right?"

He gave you a look, "And your probably out of practice."

You only shook your head at him as you walked out the door. Making your way to the stairs, the halls filled you with nostalgia. It was strange to think you walked through them so many years ago. You continued up the stairs until you made it to the roof. Walking closer to the railing by the edge, you could see the city lights a few miles out from the school.

"UA always had the best view," you sighed.

Katsuki looked at you, not once glancing at the view you were talking about. "Yeah, it really did."

He wasn't sure what compelled him to approach you, maybe it was the dress you were wearing, or how the pieces of your hair fell perfectly around your face. He couldn't lie, even after 10 years, you were still the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. You had somehow looked just as you did all those years ago, now just more mature. You turned to look at him then, catching him staring once again.

"What?" you questioned, "Do I have something on my face? In my teeth?"

He smirked to himself, Not yet. He shook his head in response, not trusting himself to answer.

"So, after all these years you never found anyone to put up with you, huh?" You joked, turning to look out at the city again.

He wasn't quick with an answer, forcing you to look back at him perplexed by his silence.

"Well, there was this one girl..." he started, his eyes still staring at you intently. "But I kind of ruined that a long time ago."

"And you just never got over her?" You questioned when he didn't continue.

"It's kind of hard too, when her face is plastered just about everywhere," he stated, eyes never once leaving yours.

"So, she's a model, maybe I know her?" You were completely oblivious to his meaning.

He rolled his eyes, "I'm talking about you, dumbass."

"Huh?"

He took a step towards you, "Go out with me."

Your face scrunched in confusion, "Like on a date?"

"Yeah, like on a date."

You sighed, looking back at the city to hide from his eyes, "Katsuki we already tried dating."

"Tch, when we were what like 17? You're not seeing anyone. I'm not seeing anyone. So what's the harm of one date?" He'd already let you slip through his fingers once. This felt like the universe was giving him a second chance and he was going to take it.

You glanced back at him; this wasn't the same guy from high school. He was much different, maybe it was the fact that he'd just been named the number 1 hero, but he seemed more confident, a little cocky even. But he had a point and you'd be lying if you didn't say he was unbelievably attractive right now. His newfound confidence only adding to that.

He got closer to you, his face now inches from yours, "So what do you say?"

You bit your lip, thinking it over. "We're both always busy with work, when would we even go?"

"Next week, tomorrow, right now?" You couldn't stop the small smile from forming at how he was acting. "We can go anywhere you want."

"Fine," you conceded.

A smug grin spread across his face as he leaned in towards you, kissing you softly. Your heart beat unsteadily, he still had the same effect on you after all these years. He pulled away, his teeth catching your bottom lip as he moved.

A blush crept up your face before you spoke, "You know most people wait till the end of the date."

He smirked. "I just couldn't help myself," his voice low and his eyes looked down at your lips like he wanted to lean in again. "So where do you want to go?"

"Uh, I'm not sure." It was getting incredibly hard to think with him so close.

"Like I said we can go anywhere, any restaurant, your place, mine..." He trailed off.

You pulled back then, "Katsuki!"

He laughed at your reaction, "What? I was just kidding. Unless you want to?"

You gave him a look, crossing your arms.

"Alright, kidding." He put his hands up. "Maybe after," he said quietly, wrapping one of his arms around your shoulder.

"What was that?"

"Nothing, let's just get out of here," he said as he led you back downstairs and out the doors towards his car.
