《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Epilogue

The orange light of the setting sun spilled into your room as you sat working on your homework. Katsuki had joined you, wanting to spend some time just the two of you. Your second semester of classes were well on their way of coming to an end and in an effort to spend time with you, Katsuki had offered the option of studying alone. Thinking back this school year had felt like a rollercoaster of emotions and events, but if you were honest you wouldn't have wanted to change a thing. Well perhaps you would want to change a couple of things, but as of right now that didn't matter.

As you continued to read a chapter in your textbook, you couldn't help but look up, the orange reflection of the light from the window brightened up Katsuki's features. You could look at him all day if you had the time. But it was like he could read your mind, looking up he caught you staring at him.

"You can't be finished with your homework already," he looked at you with disbelief as he set his pen in his book.

"I'm just taking a break," you smiled, twirling your pencil between your fingers.

He rolled his eyes, "You're always taking a break. Get to work." He picked his pen back up, going back to filling in the answers to the homework he had been working on.

You didn't look away, instead you continued to watch him as he wrote on the page before him. He stopped again, closing his eyes, he sighed, "What are you staring at?"

"Why do you do your homework in pen?" You questioned completely ignoring what he had asked. Grinning, you continued with another question, "What happens if you make a mistake?"

He opened his eyes, giving you a look, "I don't make mistakes."

"Well..." you drew out the word, your grin widening with it.

"Do your homework," he huffed, going back to his work.

You let out a laugh as you turned back to the book sitting in your lap. Reading whatever words were on the page, you'd become lost as your attention refocused on doing your homework. You didn't notice Katsuki as he looked up, glancing at you as you read.

You had distracted him enough and now he couldn't stop looking at you. The way the light was shining through your hair, you were practically glowing. His eyes took you in and he knew he had told you to get to work, but it was hard to look away now. His gaze followed your hand as you absentmindedly tucked a piece of your hair behind your ear.

"We're still going to dinner at your parents house on Friday, right?" You asked, flipping to the next page. You were only met with silence as a response. Looking up you caught Katsuki as he looked at you, a smile popped up on your lips once again. "Hey," you waved your hand in his face.

"Huh? Uh yeah, we're going if you want to," he spoke. Blinking his eyes, he tried to bring himself back to your room.

"Of course I want to, I haven't seen your parents in forever," you continued talking, but Katsuki's attention faded in and out as he looked at you.

He had once again become distracted by you, something he was trying not to do. It was one of the reason's he was so adamant about keeping you on track. Your lips were moving, but he had no idea what they were saying, completely mesmerized as you were lost in whatever you were talking about. He honestly thought it was adorable the way you looked so excited and animated when you talked about certain things. He'd never admit it, but he liked when you'd get distracted, wanting to hear the random things you'd say. He could listen to you talk for hours.

"I love you."

You instantly stopped talking to look over at him. He hadn't even realized he had spoken, completely enamored with you before him.

"What did you say?" Your voice was soft, afraid that this was actually a dream and if you spoke too loudly you'd wake up. Honestly, you thought he'd deny it. Katsuki may have gotten better with displaying his affections verbally, but you never thought he'd be the first to say it.

He paused a moment, the realization of what he had said setting in. His face changed from the lost expression and became more serious as he looked at you.

"I love you," he spoke, his tone as sincere as the expression now on his face.

Your jaw dropped slightly, you were dumbfounded that he had confirmed what you thought he said. It felt as though your brain had malfunctioned and you could only sit there and look at him. But you saw his expression change slightly, that doubt that you'd become familiar with flashing in his eyes as you continued to remain silent. You needed to say something, you needed to fill this silence before he retreated and never admitted his feelings again.

"I love you too," the words rushed from you breathlessly, you didn't think about it, your lips just moved saying what your heart wanted to say and what your brain was too slow to process.

The corner of his mouth quirked up slowly, a lopsided smile was now on his face that made your heart sing. His lips were on yours in a flash, as he pushed the books between you off your bed. He pulled back slightly, his forehead still pressed against yours, his crimson eyes now looked almost lost.

"Say it again," his voice sounded soft against your skin.

"I love you," a small smile formed on your face as he leaned in to kiss you once more.

"And again."

"I love you," he gave you another kiss before pulling back.

"Again."

"I love you." Barely getting your words out he kissed you again.

"Again."

"Katsuki," you laughed, "How about you say it?!"

"I love you," he breathed, kissing you again.

"I love you," another kiss. He continued pressing kiss after kiss, between his words, saying it over and over as if to make up for the times that he couldn't. Your face was already flushed, from his abnormally cute actions. He finally pulled back to look at you with the most loving expression.

"You know I didn't think you would be the first to say it," you murmured, filling the silence as he looked at you.

A smirk slowly crossed his face, making your brows furrow in confusion.

"What?" He remained silent, that smug smile remaining unwavering. "There's something you're not telling me." Your eyes squinted in suspicion.

"I wasn't the first to say it," he said quietly as his eyes watched your reaction.

"But I never-"

"You talk in your sleep," he cut you off.

You pulled away from him slightly, shaking your head, "No I don't."

He chuckled, "Yes you do." You still didn't believe him, you could only stare at him, mouth ajar. "The first time I heard you was at my parents house when you stayed over. I thought you had still been awake, but when I stayed in your room for the first time I heard you again. So, technically you said it for the first time last night."

You weren't sure if he was telling the truth, but why would he lie about it. No one had ever mentioned to you that you talked in your sleep. Yet here he was, his smug face saying that you did.

"Do you want me to record you? Will you believe me then?"

"No," you answered too quickly. You really didn't want to hear the, most likely, embarrassing things you said.

He rolled his eyes, pulling you onto his chest as he laid back onto your bed. His hand ran up and down your back. Leaning in he pressed a kiss to the top of your head.

"Even if I didn't say it first, doesn't mean I love you any less. I probably love you much more."

You lifted your head, placing your chin on his chest, "I think I'm the one who loves you more. I mean apparently I even tell you in my sleep. My love knows no bounds, even unconscious I can't hold it back." Your voice held a bit of playful sarcasm as you spoke.

"Shut up," he shook his head at you. His arms tightening around you, pulling you closer. "I love you, dumbass."

You grinned, your heart skipping a beat, still not used to hearing him say those words. "I love you, Katsuki."

He pulled your chin to him, pressing his lips to yours lightly, "I love you." Once again starting the cycle with another kiss.
