You heard your door open and then close. You were greeted with silence, still too preoccupied with your reflection to notice who had walked in. When whoever had entered your room still didn't speak you glanced up, seeing the reflection of spiky, ash blond hair.

Your body turned slowly as you moved to face him. Not entirely sure what to expect. Especially after your encounter on Thursday.

"Don't go out with him," he spoke finally breaking the silence. His voice soft, even his expression didn't hold a single ounce of anger as it did the other day.

"What?" Your voice barely above a whisper, your heart picking up its pace, that anxious feeling stirring in your stomach as you tried to process what was happening.

"Don't go out with him." His eyes pleading with you as he looked at you from across the room.

Thoughts of everything that had happened the last few days spinning in your head. After everything you've learned about your breakup, what were you supposed to say?

"Bakugou, I-"

He took a few steps towards you, slowly. Stopping in front of you causing you to have to look up at him. You could see the distress in his eyes as he looked down at you, his eyes searching your features for some kind of clue as to what you were thinking.

"If you have any feelings left for me, you won't call me that."

You wanted to hide from the scrutiny of his eyes, but you couldn't look away as your gazes locked, sharing a conversation unsaid. You took a deep breath in through your nose, you could smell his familiar clean scent before sighing your exhale.

"Katsuki..." you started, but that was all he needed before his mouth met yours. Hands cupping your face to bring you closer as his lips hungrily found you. You couldn't stop your eyes from fluttering closed as you leaned towards him. You missed this, you missed him and for a moment your mind went blank, every thought in your mind evaporating.

The both of you pulling away to take a breath, your thoughts coming back to you. Placing a hand on his chest to stop him as he leaned back down towards you.

"Wait." He stopped, eyes meeting yours. "You can't just act like nothing happened." His head dropping, forehead pressed against yours. "Katsuki, I know why you did it. And I'd be lying if I didn't say it hurt. But I can't-"

"Stop," he cut you off, he didn't say it angrily or harshly, just in a way to get you to stop talking. His thumb running along the side of your face. Tracing the light scar along your cheek, from when you got in your fight with Eijiro.

"But I don't want to be the person who gets in your way."

His face scrunched up perplexed as he pulled back slightly to look at you. "You won't get in my way."

"But you said-" he sighed putting a finger over your lips to get you to stop talking again.

"I know what I said," his eyes closed as if the memory pained him, his voice taking a harsher tone. "But I made a mistake. My insecurities got the better of me and I was wrong."

You wanted this more than anything, but you couldn't help but feel hesitant. He had left you with no explanation and you were afraid that it could happen again.

"You say this now, but what if in the future you end up resenting me anyway." You had excuse after excuse made up in your head. Your heart was barely healing, it couldn't deal with something like this anytime soon.

"Listen to me," he wrapped one of his arms around you, pulling you closer. "I have had nothing but time to think about these what ifs that are running through your mind right now. And I've come to terms with them. How I want my life to turn out is up to me, and however it ends up is only caused by me. And right now what I want is you." He paused, taking in any change in your expression. "I want to be the best. You know it and I know it, but I can't be the best unless I'm the best version of myself. And I can only be that when you're around. I messed this up terribly, and I'm sorry. But I care about you so much, so just let me."

At this point your heart was beating erratically. Katsuki was never good at admitting how he felt about you. But it seemed like right now he was spilling it all, telling you everything. Your still fragile heart was yelling at you to just accept him and take him back, let everything return to how things had been. But your mind wasn't convinced. It still felt guarded, wanting to protect your heart from more damage.

"I want to, Katsuki, I want this just as much as you. But I'm scared. How can I trust you?" His arms instinctively tightening as he felt you pull away. He wasn't going to give you up without a fight this time.

"I can't make you trust me. I can only prove to you that I'm worth trusting. So let me prove it to you. Just give me the time and I can show you." He leaned in closer to you as he spoke. Leaving gentle kisses along your jawline, trying to explain how much he cared for you. You could feel his hot breath against your ear, his face brushing against the side of yours as he spoke in a hushed tone, "Please be mine, you mean everything to me, I need you and I never want to let you go again."

Your knees were absolutely weak at this point. Katsuki was nothing if not someone who lived by his word. You heart felt like it was going to jump out of your chest, begging you to give in. He pulled back slightly, his nose brushed against yours as your foreheads reconnected. And you gave in, your heart pulling you back to him, because for the first time Katsuki truly let you know how he felt about you. Tilting your head back slightly, bringing your chin up towards him. He instantly picked up on what you meant and his lips pushed against yours in an urgent need to feel close to you.

You would have thought that it would have felt like a balance was returned to the earth or that something just clicked and everything felt right but it wasn't that simple at all. His lips against yours felt like the sun crashing into the earth. The heat that had built up between you, the passionate emotion behind it, the feelings and emotions that had been repressed had rushed to the surface demanding to be reunited. The earth could have shattered around you and you wouldn't have taken any notice.

He kissed you again and again and again, never wanting to be parted from you. Pulling you tighter as if you would have somehow disappeared in his arms. He only pulled back to let you catch your breath, but even then he couldn't hold himself away, pressing kisses against your cheek, jaw, neck, anywhere until he found your lips again. You weren't sure how long the two of you were standing in your room for but at some point you pulled back. He was reluctant to let you step away.

"Katsuki," a laugh escaping you, "if I'm staying here I need to change."

He looked down then, finally taking in what you were wearing. "You're so beautiful," his voice soft as his eyes continued to drink you in. He reached for your hand, pulling it up and instinctively you twirled, his gaze never once leaving you. When you faced him again you couldn't help but look at him, completely enamored with the person he was.

"I hope you know I'm not just saying that. You're so much more than how you look. I know that's what so many people care about when they see you but," his fingers intertwining with yours as he spoke, "to me you're the most beautiful person I've ever met, inside and out."

He was really trying to make your heart stop. You stepped towards him, getting up on your tiptoes and gave him the lightest kiss.

"I'll be right back." He squeezed your hand not wanting you to leave for even a moment. You squeezed his back, to let him know you'd return. Grabbing a change of clothes, your favorite joggers and loose t-shirt you went to your bathroom and changed.

When you stepped out, Katsuki instantly wrapped his arms around you, grabbing you and brought you to your bed. Pulling you close to him, he once again showered you in kisses.

"You never said you would be mine." He said in between each kiss he planted on you.

You couldn't stop the stupid grin from spreading across your face. "I'll be yours, Katsuki."

"Good, because I'm not sharing you with anyone. You're mine." He repeated it more so for himself. His lips met yours once more, as his fingers became entangled in your hair. The beautiful style now messy and long gone.

He freed you momentarily, only to wrap you in his arms. Your head press into his chest as he held you against him. Reaching for his hand, his knuckles felt rougher against your fingertips. Lifting it up you were met with bruises and barely healed cuts. You looked up at him perplexed as to how his hands had gotten so beat up.

Suddenly your phone rang, stopping you from questioning him about it. You reached for it out of habit, it was probably Kyoko wondering what happened to you. But Katsuki ripped your phone from your hand, tossing it to the foot of your bed.

"This is my time with you, they can talk to you later." His face once again in yours, grinning against him as he pulled you back towards him.

You laid there, in the moments that he held you close, reveling in the way it felt to be wrapped in his arms again. You missed how safe and warm you had felt in the strength they held. Your mind felt hazy, in pure bliss at the events of tonight. You didn't want to think about the what ifs or what could have happened, because those didn't matter. Katsuki had admitted more to you tonight then he had in the entire time you had been together. He could always show you how he felt physically, through touch, that hadn't changed but your heart swelled at the thought of his words. It was like the block he had that prevented him from saying all of these things before had been broken and now he couldn't stop himself.

Your heart fluttered when you'd hear him murmur things like how beautiful or gorgeous you looked, how much you meant to him, how happy you made him, how he never wanted to let you go. All of those things were said so easily now, and you knew he meant it every time the words left his mouth.

At some point you must have fallen asleep, Katsuki running his fingers along your back, your arms, periodically pressing a kiss to the top of your head. You couldn't help but feel so relaxed next to him. His body heat rolling off of him, making you tired.

Katsuki knew when you had fell asleep, seeing your eyes softly close and your breathing even. But he couldn't bring himself to follow after you. He wanted to be there to hold you a bit longer, feel the heat of your body while he was still conscious. Looking at you his heart overflowed with emotion. He had gotten you back by some miracle and he didn't want to mess that up again. He couldn't mess this up again, you were trusting him with your heart like he had to trust you with his.

He knew how strongly he felt about you the second you let him kiss you. Three words sat on his tongue the entire night, he so badly wanted to say them, caught up in the moment with you. But he knew now was not the time. It was too soon, and if he was being honest, he was scared to tell you how strongly he really felt. The idea of you turning him down after he said those words kept him from doing so. But now that he had you, now that you were his and no one else's maybe he could let himself feel that way about you. Maybe one day he would be able to tell you. But for now, he could hold you, feel your soft touch against his, run his fingers through your hair, press a kiss to your forehead, do all of the things that meant what he wanted to say.
