《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Chapter 33

The tension you had felt didn't disappear as the week continued. You tried to ignore it but sometimes the overwhelming feeling would become too much. Hoshi had made plans with you for Friday night, he didn't say exactly what you would be doing but to dress casually. You had finished your homework for the night and decided to pass time by looking for something to wear for tomorrow. You came up empty handed, you looked across your room to find your laundry hamper, maybe you could find something there. You picked it up, figuring you needed to do your laundry anyway, before heading downstairs to the common area where all the washers and dryers were.

Sorting through your stuff you put in your darks first. You went to sit on top of one of the empty machines with a book you had brought. You didn't feel like constantly going back and forth to your room, so you figured you'd bring something to read to pass the time. You had to admit that part of you was excited for tomorrow, you had texted Hoshi a few times since Monday and he seemed like a pretty interesting guy. So far, he wasn't anything like you expected him to be. If your agents wanted to create a buzz in the press with fake hangouts, fine, but no one said you couldn't end up being friends in the end right.

The machine rang out letting you know it was done. You hopped down, moving your clothes to the dryer before putting in the last of your clothes to start washing. Moving back to your spot you picked up the book again. You weren't much of a reader, but you'd picked up this book to keep you from checking your social media. After your date on Sunday you had an influx of followers from Hoshi. Most of them were nice but a few super fans were getting out of hand. So, to keep from checking comments you forced your nose into a book to deter yourself.

The dryer finished first, putting your bookmark in you pulled out your clothes folding them up nicely before putting them in the basket you had brought them in. The washer dinged as you folded the last of your clothes, you swiftly moved everything over and started the dryer. As you pushed the start button you heard the door open and close. The person who had entered didn't say anything, so you took your time turning around. You picked your book back up and hopped up to sit on the empty machine again.

Pulling out the bookmark you returned to reading. A door was shut with an aggressive bang causing you to freeze. Your eyes slowly moved up off the page, along the floor till they reached the person across the room, finding Bakugou leaning back with his arms crossed. Of all the days you had to come down here. A tense awkward silence made the air thick and uncomfortable. You averted your gaze, letting so many things go unsaid.

You just had to wait till the dryer was done and then you could bolt, but he didn't so much as let you hope for that before he strode across the room stopping in front of you. Hesitant to look at him, knowing his intense stare would make you more nervous than you already were.

"Really?" his question sounded harsh as it shattered the silence between you. You didn't say anything, only taking your time to finally look at him. Which was a mistake, his jaw was set and his eyes cold as he stared into you, his muscles tense as he placed his palms on either side of you, trapping you there. The animosity between you rang clear and you hated the fact that even as he stood there flaring with resentment, he somehow managed to look fucking hot.

"You're really going to go out with a guy like that?" His eyes holding you captive. You chose to continue to remain silent, you didn't trust yourself to respond yet. "Don't ignore me."

"What? Like you did for the last month? What do you want me to say?" Your nerves turned to anger, as he continued to question you and not let this go. "You broke up with me. You don't get to stand here and tell me what to do. You don't own me, and I don't belong to you, Bakugou." You could see the flash of hurt in his eyes at your use of his last name.

"He's not good for you," his words fierce trying to get you to realize whatever he already had. His hand reached out grabbing your chin, pressing his forehead to yours, preventing you from ignoring him again. "I know you still have feelings for me."

You tried to turn from him, "Stop it."

"Stop what?"

"You're being mean," you couldn't control the erratic beating of your heart. The weak part of you wanting nothing more then to just kiss him, he was so close. He knew he could still make you flustered and that made the other part of you upset, that he would use that to his advantage at this moment.

"How? If it's the truth?"

Closing your eyes to hide from the gaze that focused in on your every movement. You pushed against his chest to put space between you both.

"You picked Eijiro and I don't blame you for that, he's your best friend. But you can't just push me away and then do this." Your face felt hot and you could feel tears threatening to fall from all the emotions coursing through you. "It's not fair for you to use my feelings against me. Not when things can't go back to how they were."

The dryer rang out then, signaling that your clothes were done. You didn't wait another moment, jumping from your seat, you grabbed your clothes tossing them in the basket at random. Turning one last time to face Bakugou, he stood in the same spot, his hands once again pressed to the top of the washer to prop him up.

"Goodbye, Bakugou." Your words sounded final as you picked up your things and walked out of the room.

When you got back to your room you concentrated on putting your things away. You didn't want to even think about what had just happened. Your feelings for him hadn't diminished in the slightest, he knew that and now you realized it as well. You shoved all your thoughts into the back of your mind, trying to operate on autopilot.

The rest of your night went by in a daze, that hazy feeling bleeding into the next day. Your Friday classes passed by with minimal effort on your part. Jirou and Mina both tried to get you out of your mood, wondering what had happened to you, wanting you to be excited for tonight. You only told them that you were tired, and you'd feel better after a nap.

After school you went back to your room, rummaging once again through your clothes to find something to wear. You ended up picking a pair of jeans and a black long sleeve, it was getting closer to fall and the night air was always much colder. Heading to the bathroom connected to your room you decided to do your makeup, needing something to pass the time. You put on some mascara and eyeliner, adding some blush to give you a bit of color and a natural lip tint. Hoshi said he was going to send a car for you, that made you a bit nervous, especially when he wouldn't tell you what you'd be doing. But you trusted Kyoko and her choice. You knew she probably did her research not to mention a background check. She was nothing if not thorough in what she does.

When the time came you made your way to the entrance of the school to find a black car waiting for you. The driver got out to open the door for you and then took off down the road. You went passed all the residential areas around the school heading into the city. You stared out the window watching as all the lights and neon signs passed you by. The driver headed towards one of the arena's in the city driving around the front entrance to the back where stagehands and employees would enter. You were completely confused as to what was happening. A man in a black suit came up to the car as you exited.

"Y/N Kirishima, right?" He held a lanyard with a plastic pass on the front. "I'm Hoshi's agent, he wanted you to come to the show tonight." The man placed the backstage pass in your hand before leading you into the building. People were rushing around trying to get things ready for the band's performance. Other's were working getting the opening band through their set smoothly.

You tried to keep up with the man in the suit as he swiftly walked through the sea of people perfectly moving out of the way as oncoming people walked by. He finally led you to a room, Hoshi's name on the sign that hung on the door.

"You made it!" Hoshi spoke as he saw you in the doorway. "I know this probably wasn't what you were expecting but when you said you wanted to hangout, I had to find a way that didn't interfere with work."

You nodded looking around the room, not sure how a simple hang out had turned into this.

"Hoshi, it's time to get into places," another man walked by sticking his head in the door.

"Alright, be right there." He called out before turning to you, "Follow me." Hoshi led you back out through the people working, stopping at the side of the stage. "You can stay here to watch the show, that's one of our assistants," he pointed the man standing off to the side who held a clipboard. "If you need anything just ask him. I'll be back okay?" he smiled at you, before he headed out to where he needed to be.

The show started not to long after he walked off, the crowd was going absolutely insane. You didn't realize how popular his band really was. You almost felt bad for not knowing who he was or what he did. The band was actually really good, the sound reverberating through you as you listened to the music. You recognized a few of the songs as the ones Jirou had played for you. You'd have to remember to get an autograph for her. If she knew where you were right now, she'd absolutely be upset that you didn't bring her.

The lights flashed around the stage, lighting up the band and every once in a while, the crowd to the side of you. You couldn't stop the smile as you watched Hoshi become lost in his stage persona. He was a really good singer, you had to admit. Towards the end of their set he opened a water to take a drink before completely dousing himself with it causing the crowd to scream in response. You covered your mouth as you laughed at his crazy antics to make the crowd go wild. After their last song they all yelled out to their fans hoping that the show had been great.

Hoshi jogged over to you, still completely drenched. He shook out like a dog, the water droplets hitting you as they flew.

"Hey!" you put a hand out as if it would protect you. A laugh escaping your lips, Hoshi joining you with a wide grin.

"So, how'd you like the show?" he asked still breathless from his performance.

"It was great, you guys are really good. I just feel bad that I had no idea your band existed." Smiling at him sheepishly as you spoke.

He laughed, even his chuckles sounded like music, "I'm sorry for surprising you with this, but I'm not going to lie, I was hoping it would impress you."

"Consider me impressed." You grinned, "You know I have a friend who would love an autograph."

He beamed in response, "Well, consider it done."

The two of you talked a bit more while the set was taken down, Hoshi returning to his dressing room a moment to change before taking you home. You both walked out of the venue, you could see the car and the driver waiting for you.

When you had settled into the car Hoshi turned to face you, "I was wondering, I kind of have this event tomorrow night, and I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go with me?" His expression hopeful as he waited for your answer.

Breaking his eye contact you mulled over your answer. Your grandma had said to live life to the fullest. She made having fun a priority and maybe this could be fun. Tonight wasn't bad so why not?

You looked back at his expectant eyes, "Okay, what are we going to?"

"It's like a work party really, so it's more of a dressy event if that's not a problem."

You shook your head in response. He asked you a few more things before you reached your house. There was only one light on when you pulled up. Hoshi got out of the car, walking around to open your door.

"I hope you had a good time. I know I didn't see much of you tonight, but I promise to spend more time with you tomorrow," he chuckled. He reached for your fingers, pressing a kiss on the back of your hand. "Good night."

"Good night, Hoshi." You waved your hand goodbye before you disappeared into your house.

Walking into the front room you went towards the kitchen where the light was coming from. The house was nearly silent, so you figured your parents just left the light on for you. You reached to flip the lights off when you saw someone sitting at the table. Nearly jumping in surprise, Eijiro looked up at you.

"We need to talk."
