《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Chapter 32

Your fake date with Hoshi wasn't going terribly, he was actually a really nice guy. He'd definitely asked you more questions about yourself than you expected. It almost seemed like he was sincerely trying to get to know you. He told you a few things about himself, you weren't really asking him too many questions, still unsure of how you felt about all of this.
"So, you go to UA?" he asked, after taking a sip of his coffee. Nodding as your response he continued. "Isn't that a ridiculously hard school to get into? How'd you manage that while also keeping up with work?" His forearm rested on the table as he leaned in towards you awaiting your answer. This guy was either really aware of his body language or he just genuinely seemed interested in you, you couldn't decide which.
"Uh yeah, well I didn't get accepted the usual way. I transferred from a school in America and my brother goes to UA, so the school did some tests to see if I had the potential and that was about it."
"Wow," he pushed his sleeves up absentmindedly before resting his arms back down. You couldn't help but notice that his arms were pretty toned with prominent veins running down them. He was nowhere near Bakugou's physique, but it didn't make him any less attractive. "So how do you balance a hero course and work? That must be tough, I can barely focus on all the things my agent has me doing every day."
"It's not too bad," you leaned back in your chair, trying not to stare. "Kyoko only gives me minimal things to do really. She wants me to do well in school. She may be pushy sometimes, but she knows it comes first."
He nodded, his eyes not leaving yours, giving you his full attention. He leaned back in his own chair, mimicking you, as he stuck one leg out, stretching it from its bent position. He looked posed as if he was in the middle of a photoshoot, but he somehow also looked completely relaxed as if this is how he sat every day.
"I know Kyoko said you'd agreed to this," he paused as if he was searching for a word, "date," he brought his hands up, putting quotes around the word before continuing. "But I would really like to get to know you more. It doesn't have to be a date or anything, but could we hang out again?" His head was tilted down slightly with his piercing eyes looking up to meet yours.
"Uhh, I'll think about it," you didn't want to agree, not sure if you'd really have the time.
He grinned, "I'll take it. Can I at least have your number, if that's okay?" He held his phone between his fingers, leaning it in your direction.
You hesitated, you liked him well enough so far. "Sure," you took the phone, putting the number in.
"Thanks, don't feel pressured around me. You seem like a really cool girl, maybe we can even be friends." His perfect smile still in place.
"Maybe, but I have to head back to school, so see you around," you got up, waving your hand as you went to leave.
"I hope so," he spoke, getting up. You both walked out of the coffee shop, heading in opposite directions.

Your walk back to school went smoothly, your mind running through your entire encounter with Hoshi. He seemed nice enough, nothing about him really screamed that he was a bad guy. You wouldn't dwell on it though, taking your grandma's advice of just having fun. You were young after all things didn't always have to be serious.
Your pace slowed down as you walked on campus, heading towards your dorm. Hopefully everyone wasn't in the common area and you could just go to your room and be alone before tomorrow. The universe was on your side today, you made it upstairs and into your dorm without running into anybody. Tomorrow would be a different story, if the paparazzi caught you with Bakugou twice already there was no doubt someone got a photo of you and Hoshi at the coffee shop. You needed the rest of this night to think about what you were going to tell Mina. Because at this point you knew she'd find out somehow.
Sitting at your desk you worked on the homework you had saved for tonight. It was a pretty good distraction and it wasn't long before the sky turned dark and your work was done. Reaching up to stretch your arms and back, you yawned before getting up. Quickly changing and sliding into your bed you plugged your phone in to find a text from Hoshi. It was a simple Hey it's Hoshi kind of message, you still weren't sure what to do about all of that, so you left it at that for now and went to bed.
You'd taken your time to get to class today, not wanting any free time for Mina to bombard you with questions. The second you walked through the door both Mina and Jirou stood in front of you, blocking you from getting to your seat.
"You have a lot of explaining to do." Mina said, phone in hand, she already had some article pulled up.
"Guys, class is going to start soon. Can we talk about this later?" You pleaded looking over Mina's shoulder at your empty seat.
"No, spill it. Now." Both Mina and Jirou stood, arms crossed, not giving you a chance to say no.
With an exasperated look you started talking, hoping Aizawa would walk in to put an end to this. "It was for work, nothing more. I'll tell you everything later."
They eyed you a moment before letting you pass. You slumped into your seat with a huff as Mr. Aizawa walked in calling everyone's attention. You couldn't focus on what the teachers said, half heartedly writing your notes, not retaining any of the information they were throwing at you. Sitting in your desk your eyes glazed as you stared off to the side, not focusing on anything in particular. You must have missed the bell because Mina and Jirou both appeared at your desk, expectantly waiting to hear about your Sunday coffee date.
Standing up to head to the cafeteria they both linked their arms with yours turning to you.
"So, tell us everything," they both said in almost unison.
You took a deep breath trying to organize your thoughts before you spoke. "It really wasn't anything. My agent just wanted to set something up to get a buzz. We just got coffee and I came back to school. That was it."

They both looked at you, clearly expecting more. Jirou was the first to speak.
"Do you even know who he is? You obviously don't realize how big this is."
Your eyebrows pulled together in confusion. "Uh, I mean his name is Hoshi and he said he did some modeling, I really don't know anything more."
"Girl. He's the lead singer of like the hottest band in Japan right now. I played you a few of their songs on Friday. Had I known you were going to meet with him this weekend I would have asked for an autograph." Jirou looked at you like you had been living under a rock.
"I mean you still can, I have his number. I'm sure I can just ask right?" you shrugged like it wasn't a problem.
Mina stopped walking, grabbing both of your shoulders so you would face her. "You have his number?!" She practically yelled, causing a few other students to stop and look at you three.
"Hey, be quiet!" you whisper yelled at her, you didn't want anymore attention on you right now than you already had.
As you all continued walking to the cafeteria they asked a constant flow of questions, from what he was like to if you texted him back already. Mina practically swiped your phone to reply to him when you said you hadn't.
"Alright, enough." You set your tray down, sitting in between both of them.
"One more question please," Mina intertwined her hands begging you to give in.
You crossed your arms, "Fine, this is the last one and then we're not talking about it anymore."
Her eyes lit up, "Are you going to go out with him again?"
You hesitated; you didn't have an answer for her. He was a nice guy sure, but did you actually want to go out with him again?
"Honestly, I'm not sure." She tried to get you to say more, saying that wasn't a good enough answer but the look you gave her quickly shut her up. They went on to talk about other things that you weren't really paying attention too. Your eyes wandered around the room again, you could hear your grandma's words all over again. Maybe another date wouldn't be so bad, and he said it didn't have to be a date, right? Maybe you two could just hang out as friends.
You spotted Shinso in the sea of students, he gave you a quick nod hello. You couldn't help but chuckle at his attempt at friendship, nodding back to him to let him know you saw him. Jirou was in the middle of telling everyone about her date with Denki, turning to listen to her your gaze locked with a pair of crimson eyes from across the room. Bakugou's face held a hard grimace, his teeth clenched, locking his jaw in place. You quickly averted your eyes, not wanting to read to much into his expression.
The girls filled your lunch hour with chatter that you now forced yourself to focus on. There was no way you were going to let yourself look around, because you knew exactly what your eyes would move towards. The bell couldn't ring soon enough, training would be the perfect distraction for you now. Aizawa always like to start the week by working new moves and perfecting the ones you already had. He wasn't a very lively person but even less so on Monday's. So, reviewing and perfecting moves was an easy class for him to have.
Once your class had reached the training room you'd be using you quickly moved Jirou and Mina to the opposite direction your brother and Bakugou were heading. The three of you tried to figure out a way to use your quirks together, finding unique ways the three of you could help each other in real world situations. Class had barely started but the loud explosions coming from across the room had already become obnoxious. The sounds weren't like usual, they were louder, more expressive and dramatic. Jirou gave you a look, as she was the only one who had a clue as to why he was acting this way. Mina completely oblivious, complaining aloud, wondering what could have possibly pissed him off this time.
It was at this moment, amidst the loud explosive sounds erupting around you that you realized he had no right to act this way. He had made his decision to break up with you and if seeing you with someone else bothered him, that was his own problem. You didn't owe him anything. You were nowhere near over him, but this felt like a step in the right direction.
Continuing to work on finding a way for your quirks to work together you completely shut out Bakugou's incessant outburst. Before you knew it, class had come to an end and the three of you only made minimal progress. But you didn't let that bother you. As the three of you walked towards the locker room, you turned to Mina.
"I have an answer for your question at lunch." She looked at you in surprise, eyes wide as she waited for you to continue. "I think I will go out with him again."
Mina squealed in response, excited that her friend had finally found in interest in someone. But her excitement was short lived as the door to the boy's locker room was swung open with a loud bang. The three of you jumping and looking over to find the culprit of the aggressive noise. You once again locked eyes with Bakugou, this time he was glaring at you before he turned and stormed out of your field of vision.
"What's his problem today?" Mina groaned, as your group shuffled into the locker room.
"Who knows," you responded, trying to sound nonchalant, like you too wondered why he was in such a bad mood. But you had a pretty good idea as to why he was so angry.
As you walked back to the dorm with Jirou to study you pulled out your phone finally replying to Hoshi. He replied surprisingly quick. Asking how you were and what you were up to. You didn't answer truthfully, he didn't need to know how eventful and uneventful your day had been.
Y/N: If you still want to, I wouldn't mind hanging out with you again.
Hoshi: Really? I know the perfect place!
You sighed, pressing your phone to your forehead. Trusting in your grandma's advice you hoped things would turn out okay.
