《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Chapter 25

The sounds of the waves hitting the beach filled the air as you sat at a table with Jirou. It was only the second day of your trip and the two of you had already explored the town. Your first day there, when you weren't in town, you'd spent your time on the private beach behind the house, but it was pretty boring. Both of you decided that today, you'd go to the public beach with shops and tourists about a mile from the house you were staying in. Your brother and Bakugou ended up following you both to the beach, Eijiro had mentioned something about volleyball, you weren't really paying attention.

You had been surprised that Bakugou had agreed to this trip with your family, but even if he was physically here with you, he was still emotionally distant. The two of you only talking when absolutely necessary, which wasn't often. But even with this unspoken tension between you both, you'd made the decision that you were going to have fun no matter what.

Jirou had picked a table with an umbrella for you both to sit at. It was close to the shops, and a stall that sold snacks and drinks was right behind you both.

"It's so hot," She complained, "Want to get something to drink?"

"It's like you read my mind," you grinned, as you got up from the table.

Making your way to the counter, you tried to figure out what you wanted to order. You were torn between an iced coffee or a fruit smoothie. Jirou placed her order first, giving you time to think. As you stared at the menu you felt someone come up beside you.

"Hey," the unfamiliar voice pulled you away from the menu.

You looked over to find some guy, around your age, leaning on the counter.

"Uh, hi," you gave him an annoyed sort of face and turned back to the menu. Finally making up your mind you placed your order, reaching into your bag to find your wallet.

"Don't worry, I got it," the guy beside you spoke.

"Uh it's fine, I can pay for it," the annoyance now reaching your voice.

"I insist," he smiled at you as he handed his card to the guy working the counter.

"Thanks, I guess," You went to stand by Jirou at the end of the counter, waiting for your drink to be called. You tried to make conversation with her, hoping that guy wouldn't follow you over. But against your wishes he walked over to the two of you, attempting to join in on whatever you were talking about. The second he stood by you, it felt like someone was watching you, more specifically it felt like someone was burning holes into the back of your head. You didn't have to turn around to know who that would have been. Suddenly your drinks were placed on the counter, Jirou grabbing them and then pulling you away in a hurry. Heading to a different part of the beach, away from the stand and the table you'd been sitting at.

"Did you feel that too?" you asked as she pulled you to the opposite end of the beach.

"Yup, and if looks could kill all three of us would have been dead, and I'm not dying today," she spoke as she found another empty table, and sat in one of the chairs.

The both of you relaxed into your chairs, staring out into the ocean as you sipped on your drinks. Then like some nightmare from hell, the boy you'd ran away from sat down across from you.

"You two aren't from around here are you?" he asked, looking between the both of you. Turning you gave Jirou a look before facing the boy again. "Oh, I'm sorry, I should probably introduce myself, my name's Tadashi." He smiled at you both. "And what are your names?"

You were silent, honestly you didn't want to tell this guy anything about you. But before you could say anything a familiar voice growled from behind you.

"Do we have a problem here?"

Tadashi glanced behind you, shock crossing his face for a moment at the sound of Bakugou's voice before he relaxed again. "No, not at all, I was just asking these pretty ladies if they wanted to go to a party tonight." He smiled at you both again.

"A party," your brother walked up to your table, "That sounds like fun."

"Then it's settled!" Tadashi stood up, pulling a paper out of his pocket. "Here's the address and my number." He winked at you as he handed you the paper. Katsuki only made his notorious tch sound as he ripped the paper out of Tadashi's hand. Tadashi turned towards your group once more before leaving, "It starts at 8, see you all there."

You were all silent a moment, Katsuki the first to speak, "This sounds stupid."

Jirou looked at you all, "Yeah, I don't want to agree with Bakugou, but are we really going?"

"Oh, come on guys, it's the summer, when do we ever have a chance to let loose like this?" Eijiro was the only one who sounded excited about it.

"I'll only go, if everyone goes," Jirou crossed her arms, sitting back into her chair.

Your brother giving you an expectant look, you could see the pleading in his eyes as he waited for your answer, "Fine, E but I'm not promising to stay."

"Yes!" he quickly turned to face Bakugou with the same look.

He only rolled his eyes, crossing his arms, "Whatever."

And just like that, your brother somehow managed to convince you all to go. The four of you stayed on the beach a bit longer before the sun started to set. After heading home, you took a shower and made your way to the room you'd been staying in, looking for something to wear for tonight. There was a knock at your door that you had assumed was Jirou.

"What's up?" you asked cheerily as you swung the door open. But instead of Jirou you were met with Katsuki, his hands pressed on either side of the door frame.

"Are you really going tonight?" His face blank, trying to hide his emotions from you.

"I mean I already told Eijrio I would." You were hesitant to respond, not sure what brought him to speak to you.

He sighed, "Will you promise me you'll stay away from that guy?" he dropped his head, keeping his eyes out of your view.

You knew he was only trying to look out for you, you'd be lying if you said you weren't still mad at him for his outburst at the practical and his lack of remorse.

"You don't talk to me for a solid week, you can't even apologize for how you acted and now you think you can just ask me to do something for you? If you want people to stay away from me, you're going to have to do that yourself." You stepped back, closing the door before he could respond.

Shaking your head to clear it you went back to your pile of clothes. A red tank top bodysuit and jean shorts is what you ended up deciding to wear. You brushed your hair and put on a bit of makeup before heading down to meet everyone. Your brother's excitement somehow outweighed Jirou's indifference and Bakugou's irritation. Bakugou had a permanent scowl on as you all made your way to the address Tadashi had given you. It wasn't too far from the house, only a 5-minute walk away.

The four of you instantly found the house, as music was pouring out the door and windows. Walking in Tadashi was the first to greet you.

"I'm so glad you guys could make it! We've got drinks in the kitchen, a pool in the back, whatever you guys could want, I'm sure we got it."

"Let's check out the pool," Jirou spoke in your ear, as she dragged you away. Making your way through the house, you finally found the back door. The pool had a few people around it, but most of them were inside. "Sorry," she said as she sat by the pool, sticking her feet in, "but that guy creeps me out."

A laugh escaped your lips as you joined her, "Don't worry, me too."

The two of you sat there, talking. She told you about what was going on with Denki and you couldn't hold back the grin, happy that it had finally worked out for them. But you couldn't focus on her completely, the feeling of someone staring at you would pull you away. You knew it was Katsuki, every time you glanced across the pool your gaze would meet his angry one. He was leaning against a table, arms crossed, looking all around unhappy that he was there. The anger in his eyes would flare and the muscles in his arms would tense as he glared at anyone, he caught looking at you. You tried not to look at him too often, right now you couldn't stand the soft spot you had for him.

You weren't upset with him because he got jealous. In situations like with Tadashi it came in handy that he would want to step in. But it just upset you when he would act like that with people who didn't deserve it. It wasn't just that, when he acted that way, it made you feel like he didn't trust you. You knew he had said that it was the guys he didn't trust, but if you had chosen him, why get upset at all?

"You ladies enjoying yourselves?" Tadashi stood behind you both, red solo cup in hand. He didn't wait for a response before sitting down next to you. You scooted closer to Jirou, trying to put more distance between you both. You didn't know if this guy didn't get the hint or if he chose to ignore it as he scooted closer to you. "So, you still haven't given me your name?" he leaned into you trying to hold your gaze. Instinctively you leaned away, almost bumping in to Jirou beside you.

"Hey, can we talk? Alone." Katsuki appearing in the nick of time, glaring at Tadashi as he spoke.

Jirou leaned into your ear, "I'm going to go find your brother." Without another word she got up, leaving you with Katsuki and Tadashi.

You glanced up at Katsuki, staring into his eyes, his face only displayed irritation as he stood there waiting for your answer. But before you could say anything Tadashi spoke for you.

"We're kind of in the middle of something, but maybe you can have some time with her later," Tadashi ignored Katsuki's presence only looking at you as he spoke, with a grin on his face.

"Y/N," Katsuki held his hand out for you, his face still held his grimace, but you could see the pleading in his eyes as he looked down at you. Lifting your hand, you placed it in his, his grip tightening as he pulled you up to stand by him.

Tadashi stood up, blocking you both from leaving. "Woah, Y/N, right? Come on, just let me talk to you."

Katsuki leaned into his face, daring him to get any closer, "She doesn't want to talk with you, so why don't you move before I make you."

He tried to look around Katsuki at you, "Why don't you let her say it."

"Tch," Katsuki pushed Tadashi by the shoulder into the pool before grabbing your wrist and pulling you through the house. Pushing through people, breaking conversations, he didn't stop walking until he had brought you across the house and onto the front porch. You pushed yourself up onto the railing separating the porch and front yard. Katsuki across from you leaning against the house.

"Did you really need to push him into the pool?" you asked arching one of your brows.

His glare now directed at you, "He was being annoying." His voice surprisingly even but you could hear a touch of aggression in it.

He didn't say anything after that. Now that the two of you were hidden from everyone in the house, he didn't so much as glance at you, his eyes averted to the side, looking onto the street.

"So, why'd you bring me over here? Did you really want to talk, or did you just want to take me away from Tadashi?"

You could see the muscles tensing in his jaw as his death stare returned to you. "Don't say his name." Sitting there you waited for him to say anything else, perhaps answering one of your questions. You looked at him expectantly. But he didn't continue, just looked away from you again. You sighed, hopping off the fence, going to head back inside to find Eijiro and Jirou. He moved then, putting his arms on either side of you blocking you from leaving. His eyes held yours, with a stare so intense you couldn't look away if you wanted too.

"Katsuki-"

"I'm sorry," he interjected. Dropping his head, breaking your eye contact. The silence returned and you could see how tense he was as his hands gripped the railing behind you.

You waited but he didn't finish, so you asked trying to prompt him, "For what?"

"For the way that I treated..." he sighed, "the way I treated Shinso. For acting out of jealousy, for not talking to you about how I feel. I should pay more attention to you then what those extras are doing." He looked up at you then, and you knew he was being sincere. Staring into his eyes they resembled your brothers and yours. You never liked the way your eyes looked but somehow, he made the color look mesmerizing. "Can we leave this stupid party?"

"I'd like that," You'd have to apologize to Jirou tomorrow for leaving her behind. He only smirked as he grabbed your hand pulling you back to the beach house.
