《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Chapter 16

The week returned to normal, you and Katsuki didn't discuss your study date once. You rejoined your usual study group the next day, as did Bakugou and no one was the wiser of what happened between the two of you. Eijiro was glad for your return, he needed help with the math study guide, he wasn't too good with numbers. By the time Thursday night rolled around, you felt pretty confident going into Ectoplasm's test. It was about 8 at night when you knew you couldn't study anymore, if you sat there any longer you would have just over worked yourself and it wouldn't have helped you at all. You got up and said goodbye to your friends, you felt exhausted and surprisingly wanted to go to bed. Making your way to your dorm your mind couldn't help but wander. Katsuki had said he wanted to pick what your next date would be but with all the work from school the two of you never really had a moment to yourselves. You were still curious to know what he would decide to do but it's not like you could just ask. After getting ready for bed you turned your light off and crawled under your covers. You fell asleep trying to think what Katsuki could possibly come up with.
The next day was filled with more of your everyday normal, you sat through lectures, you took your math test, which wasn't as bad as you thought it would be and you trained with Jirou and Mina during Aizawa's class. The three of your quirks didn't work too well together but you all needed some help on your close combat skills anyway. You were ready for a nap by the end of class, it was nice to have three of you, it allowed one of you to take a break while the other two continued to work but that didn't mean all three of you weren't exhausted by the end.
Aizawa called your classes attention, "UA and Shiketsu High have made an arrangement for a training exercise between your classes. Class B will be joining us for this exercise. I want you to think about who you should train with this next week to prepare. If you haven't found someone, I will choose them for you. Class dismissed."
"We should all work together!" Mina exclaimed as she walked with you and Jirou to the locker room.
"Maybe, we should also try and work with someone that's compatible with our quirks." Jirou pointed out.
They continued the conversation as you all changed and then started heading back to the dorms.
"I'm so glad we don't have to study tonight, that math test definitely kicked my butt." Mina laughed as you both made your way upstairs.
You laughed with her, "I'm just looking forward to a nap."
"Maybe we can hangout tonight? Momo mentioned she wanted to do something with the girls."
"Yeah, maybe. Just text me or knock on my door." You waved at her as you both separated and went into your rooms. You were both mentally and physically exhausted and your bed looked so comfortable. Suddenly your phone vibrated in your hand, you looked down to see a message from Katsuki.
Katsuki: Meet me outside of the dorms at 8.

Y/N: Cryptic but okay...
What's with him and these cryptic texts. It was like 3:30 you could still take a nap. You set an alarm and fell asleep on your bed, without changing out of your uniform. After hitting the snooze on your alarm like 15 times you finally woke up at about 7:20. You would need to get up now if you wanted to get ready. Sitting up, you realized Katsuki didn't mention why he wanted to meet. You went to your closet wanting to change out of your uniform. Well with no clue as to what you would be doing, you just put on a pair of ripped jeans and your favorite t-shirt. Heading to the bathroom you brushed your hair which had become a mess in your sleep. Your mascara had also smudged so you touched up your make up and even added a winged liner to help pass the time. You checked your phone, 7:57. Time to find out what Katsuki wanted.
You went downstairs, a few of your classmates were hanging out. You could see Denki talking to someone, probably Mineta, you just couldn't see him over the couch. Making your way outside you found Katsuki leaning against the railing of the steps. You walked over to him, stopping a few steps above him, it felt weird to look down at him.
"What's up?" you asked, sliding you hands into your jean pockets.
He didn't respond, he just grabbed your arm, pulling you down a few steps so he was taller than you again.
"Okay, so why'd you call me down here?" you tried not to laugh.
"Follow me," he pushed himself off the railing and started walking away from the dorms. Walking after him you weren't sure where he was leading you. You walked for a few minutes before curiosity got the better of you.
"So, where are we going?" He didn't respond. You waited a few moments before asking another question. "Is this the date you said you were picking?" Still no response. You walked in silence for a bit longer before you made it to the edge of the school. The trees of the small forest that surrounds the campus began to engulf the both of you. "Are you going to kill me out here? Maybe I should send Eijiro my location in case I never come back."
He stopped, "Will you shut up!? What is wrong with you!? Why would I even-" he groaned as he pinched the bridge of his nose, he squeezed his eyes shut.
"Ha, got you to say something." You laughed, knowing what you said was ridiculous, but you needed some kind of response. He took a deep breath before he grabbed your wrist pulling you next to him before you started walking again. There wasn't an obvious path you could see that he was following but he looked like he knew where he was taking you. At some point before arriving at your destination, Katsuki let go of your wrist, let his hand slide down and interlocked his fingers with yours. You weren't sure you would ever get used to that, whenever he would do something that would signify that he liked you as more than just a friend. He stopped suddenly, while you were still thinking about his hand in yours.

"We're here."
The two of you stood on the outskirts of a small clearing. The tree's created a small circle and off to the side was a boulder sized rock. You weren't entirely sure what here was.
"Uhh, what is... here?" you questioned as you walked towards the center of the circle.
"This is a place I like to go when things become too... overwhelming." He walked over to where you stood.
"Katsuki, overwhelmed? Impossible." You smirked over at him.
He walked behind you, wrapping his arms around you and rested his chin on top of your head. "Shut up."
You were frozen, Katsuki wasn't much of a hugger, you'd never actually seen him willingly hug anyone, not even his parents when you'd left his house after dinner. You were afraid to move, afraid that if you moved to quickly or reached towards him, he'd let go, or worse you'd wake up and this whole thing would have been a dream.
"You know it took you long enough, I was starting to think our last date was a dream that I'd made up." You laughed. You couldn't see him, but you were almost positive Katsuki rolled his eyes at you. "So, what do you do when you come out here?"
You heard him take a breath contemplating his answer, "Stare at the sky, the stars, think, anything to get my mind off of why I came out here." Glancing up at the sky as he spoke you could see the stars through the leaves and branches and if you closed your eyes you could focus on the wind as it blew through the trees, hearing the serene sound it made. You could understand why someone would want to come out here when they had a lot on their mind, but that didn't explain why he brought you here tonight.
"So, if you come here to think, why'd you bring me along?" Your eyes shifted trying to look up at him. He moved to stand next to you, keeping one arm wrapped around your shoulder.
"I figured you could keep me company," he said as he began to fall back, pulling you down with him.
"What are you-" you squealed, not expecting the fall, you landed on the ground. "Ouch, why would you do that?!" He laughed as you shoved him.
Rejoining him on the ground you turned your head towards him, "What are you trying to get off your mind tonight?"
"Not really trying to get something off my mind, just trying to figure something out."
"What would that be?"
"Nothing you need to be concerned about right now," he reached out grabbing your hand again, interlacing your fingers, but instead of putting your hands down he stared at them, like they would give him the answers he was looking for. His hand felt rough, calloused against yours, yours fitting perfectly in his. This whole situation feeling surreal, this had been the closest you've ever felt to Katsuki and you both hadn't really spoken much the entire time.
Suddenly he broke the silence as he spoke, "Tell me something."
"Like what?" your eyes searching the stars above you.
"Anything, a childhood memory, a secret you've never told anyone, what your thinking about right now?"
"I don't know, I guess I'm just thinking about how strange things are now. How different things have been, but they also haven't changed all that much."
He paused a few moments before he responded. "Is that bad?" His grip on your hand tightened slightly.
"No, it's just different. I've never seen this side of you with anyone and to be honest some part of me didn't think you had a soft side."
He didn't say anything for a while, still staring at the sky, all he said in his usual harsh tone was, "Don't get to used to it."
You weren't sure what he had meant by that, but you didn't want to risk turning his mood sour, so you didn't say anything. The two of you continued to stare at the sky, periodically one of you would break the silence to same something. You discussed anything and everything, from school to your time in America, anything was really on the table.
You weren't sure how much time had passed as you laid on the ground, your hands intertwined in between you. Katsuki was the first to get up, pulling you up to stand next to him.
"We should start heading back," He pulled you along, leading you back towards the dorms.
"Did you figure out your situation from earlier?" You were still curious as to why Katsuki had wanted to come out here in the first place.
He stopped walking, the trees that surround the campus still covering you both. He stared down at you, his face not giving away a single thing he was thinking. "Maybe."
"Are you ever going to tell me why we came out here?"
He glanced away from you, thinking about his answer. He looked back down at you, "Maybe." You should have expected that. Smirking he spoke again, "Just don't worry about it, dumbass."
"Well now that you've said that, that's all I'm going to do." You joked.
He half smiled in response. He grabbed your chin lightly, tilting you face up to look at him. "You know, you don't look half as bad as usual tonight. Did you do something different?"
You rolled your eyes, that was the closest thing you'd get to a compliment from Katsuki. "Shut up."
He hadn't pulled away from you, it almost felt like he was leaning in towards you. His clean scent filling your senses felt intoxicating. Your heart feeling like it was going to jump out of your chest. His face was now inches form yours and you could feel the warmth of his breath mixing with yours. He gently pressed his lips against yours, but unlike last time he didn't pull away. His other arm wrapped around your waist pulling you closer until you were against him. Your hands pressed against his chest, sliding up to wrap around his neck. His hand moving from your chin and gently brushed against your jaw as it was lost in your hair.
You both pulled away slightly, breathless. He stared at you a moment longer before he let you go.
"We should get back."
You could only nod in response as you both started making your way back to the dorms.
