《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Chapter 14

Light began to shine in your room waking you up from the deep sleep you were in. You couldn't focus on anything last night; you were so out of touch that you didn't even dream once. Waking up you felt exhausted and not at all refreshed as you hoped. You rolled out of bed and made your way to the kitchen where you knew you'd find your mom. She was sitting at the table with her coffee and some toast. You looked at the clock, it was a little after 10.

"Morning," you took the seat across from her and put your head on the table.

"Good morning dear, I forgot how you like to sleep in." She smiled at you. "Did you want something to eat? I already made breakfast for everyone, your dad had to go to the store this morning, and your brother and Bakugou already went back to school. It's just me and you this morning." Another smile, before she took a sip of her coffee.

"I'm okay mom, I can have cereal or something," You tried to smile back at her. You were relieved to hear that everyone was gone.

"What's wrong? You seemed fine yesterday, did something happen?"

You sighed, "Kind of, I'll tell you about it if you tell me something?"

She chuckled, "Deal."

"What was up with you yesterday? I know you missed us, but you never lay it on that much with Eijiro unless you want something." You looked at your mom, a suspicious look in your eye.

She put her hands up in feigned defeat, "You caught me. I actually saw that article of you and Bakugou, I thought you guys looked so cute, so I figured I'd meddle a little. You know your agent Kyoko doesn't approve but she doesn't know him like we do, and sure he's a little rough around the edges but he's a good guy, probably better then any of the guys she tries to put you with."

You couldn't help but laugh. "You may have gotten something out of your meddling."

"Well, do tell." She smiled at you expecting you to spill all the tea. And so, you spilled everything, from Eijiro telling you to stay away, from what Katsuki told you yesterday and how he tried to cover it up and lastly the kiss, right before Eijiro scared you away.

"You seem to be in a hefty predicament," She finished her coffee looking over at you.

"I just don't know what to do," you groaned rubbing your temples.

"Honey do you like him?" She reached out grabbing your hand.

"Well, yeah, but is my liking him really worth potentially ruining their friendship?"

"If they're truly friends, what ever happens between you two, shouldn't change their friendship."

"I guess but E's definitely not going to be happy about it."

"Oh, I'm sure he can be persuaded. But before you talk with Eijiro, I think you need to talk with Bakugou and sort everything out first."

You buried your face in your hands, "I just don't even think I can face either of them right now."

"Well I guess it's a good thing you don't go back to campus until Sunday, you can ignore them all you want here." She laughed.

You chuckled with her, "Yeah, you're right."

You got your cereal and spent the rest of your Saturday morning working on your homework. By the time your father returned you had finished. Your parents decided to have a movie night with you. The three of you and Sora all piled on the couch watching your favorite movies, complete with snacks, popcorn and ice cream. You hadn't realized how much you missed spending time with them. You checked your phone after the first movie and found that you had a text from Jirou. She asked if you were busy tomorrow morning and if you wanted to go to a café. Meeting Jirou would prolong the inevitable of seeing the two people you still wanted to ignore so you responded asking when and where.

After watching a few more movies with your parents you went to bed. You were still tired from the lack of sleep from the night before. Sora curled up next to you and you fell asleep petting her as she laid beside you.

Your phones alarm jolted you awake the next morning. You were surprised it woke you up, it never seemed to for school. Turning off the alarm, you sat in bed for a little while, you didn't have to meet Jirou for another hour or so. You picked your phone up and scrolled through your notifications. They were all the usual, different apps, games, stores with sales, emails, etc. But one stood out from the rest. You had one text from Katsuki Bakugou. All it said was 'We need to talk'. Well him sending you a text in the first place wasn't cryptic enough. You went to turn off your phone, but you accidentally opened the message, great now he'll know you read it. Not ready to open that can of worms you accepted your fate and got ready to meet Jirou.

The weather was much nicer lately, so you went with a t-shirt, jean shorts and some sandals. You hugged your parent's goodbye before you left the house, promising to visit more often. You walked to the café Jirou sent you, it wasn't too far from your house. She was standing outside waiting for you.

"Hey!" you walked up to her, giving her a side hug before you both went inside. The two of you walked up to the counter and ordered your drinks and you also ordered a cookie that was made to look like a flower. You both chose an empty spot near the window towards the front.

"Alright spill it," she said as you both settled into your seat.

"Spill what?" you asked innocently.

"Don't try and get out of it. I could tell the moment I saw you, somethings up."

"Can everybody just read me like a book now?" You took a sip of the drink you ordered.

She laughed, "No but you're usually a bit more cheerful than this."

You shook your head in response, "Fine, I'll tell you." And for the second time this weekend you spilled your guts about what had happened up until Friday night.

"Woah," was Jirous only response.

"Oh, and to make matters worse, I woke up to this text this morning." You pulled your phone out showing her the message you received from Bakugou.

"Yikes talk about a vague message. If it makes you feel any better, they both seemed normal enough when they got back yesterday."

"I just don't even know what to do, and I don't even know what this could mean." You pointed at your phone on the table.

"I think you're going to have to talk to Bakugou to figure that one out. But I wouldn't worry too much, he always seems to make things seem worse than they really are." She gave you a smile in hopes you would feel better.

"Let's talk about something else," you said glumly, "What about you? Tell me what's going on with you and Denki."

Her face turned pink, "Oh uh nothing really, there's still that are we or aren't we vibe going on but honestly I'm thinking of just giving up. He has a way of seeming too interested in other girls."

"Just know I'm on your side no matter what. Boys are stupid and think they need to go after everything new. But if you do decide your done, we can find you someone even better." You smiled at her.

The two of you continued to talk, and when you had finished your cookie and you both finished your drinks you got up and started your walk back to campus. You both were laughing as you walked up the steps to your dorms building. You paused, not ready to walk through the doors yet.

"Hey, go in without me, I need a minute." You told Jirou.

"Are you sure?" she looked at you.

"Yeah," you said smiling at her.

You stood there at the doors trying to focus on your breathing. Everything's going to be okay, you thought to yourself. Letting out a deep breath you opened the door to find your brother walking towards you, the look on his face already telling you he was upset.

He stormed up to you stopping directly in front of you, "You have some explaining to do." He shoved Mina's phone in your hand. You were more then confused by this point. You looked down only to see yet another photo of you and Bakugou. This time it was of your walk to the store, Bakugou's arms were around your neck as he looked at you, you could see the shocked look on your face as well. No wonder he had laughed at you. The article read that sources had confirmed the relationship between the two of you. You grimaced, Damn that stupid kid.

"Okay listen this isn't what it looks like." You started.

"Really? Because it looks like you went against what I asked from you."

"I know it looks bad. But you remember that stupid kid in our neighborhood that had a crush on me? He stopped us on the way to the store, he was being creepy so Bakugou stepped in. This is his doing trust me. It definitely isn't what it looks like, the paparazzi have a way of making things seem different than they are." You looked at your brother pleading him to believe you.

He searched your face trying to see if you were lying. He let out a deep breath, "I believe you. I'm sorry I got upset, I just- I thought you had gone behind my back and lied to me."

You closed your eyes from a moment, "It's fine but honestly I don't feel so good, I'm just gonna go to my room." You walked around your brother heading upstairs. Shutting the door behind you, you flopped on to your bed. Turning to lay on your back you put your arms over your head, hiding your face. You weren't sure how long you stayed there for but it felt nice to be alone. Your door swung open and closed. "E, I told you I didn't feel good. I just want to be alone."

"So, you're just going to leave me on read?" a rough voice, that absolutely did not belong to your brother, responded.

You lifted your arms up a little to see Katsuki standing in the middle of your room, arms crossed glaring at you. "I mean I thought about it, yeah." You said as you put your arms back down. He grumbled to himself while you tried to ignore his presence. But the longer he stood there you knew he wasn't leaving any time soon. "If you want to talk, maybe you should start talking." He still didn't say anything. You sat up to look at him, "What Katsuki? What could you have so desperately wanted to talk about that you barge into my room unannounced? What did you want to talk about so badly? That you kissed me and then you left the next day and didn't even say bye?" You couldn't stop the words as they rushed from your mouth, you hadn't realized how much you held back from yourself about how you truly felt.

"I- You kissed me first. And I wasn't the one who shoved you away."

You stood up now, "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't want to get caught kissing my brother's best friend in my parent's kitchen. But what does it matter, I've been nothing but confused about what happened on Friday." You stepped towards him, crossing your arms, getting up in his face. You could see his annoyed expression from how you were acting, but you didn't care. "So, tell me Katsuki, what did you want to talk about?" He glared down at you, he still didn't say anything, his eyes momentarily leaving yours to look further down your face. "Well are you going to say any-" you were cut short, he wrapped his hand behind your neck pulling you into a rough kiss. You were shocked to say the least, momentarily lost, your eyes closing as you kissed him back.

There was a pause as you stopped for a breath, your mind cleared for a moment. You pulled away from him, "Hey you can't just do that."

"Will you shut up?" his voice was rough as he pulled you back towards him. This one was softer and less aggressive. Your knees grew weak as his fingers became entangled in your hair. Your thoughts completely silent and the world seeming to come to a standstill. It wasn't until you both pulled away for a breath that you could think cohesive thoughts. You looked up at him, not sure how to feel about anything. "I lied the other day, I do feel-" He struggled to find the words, "I feel some sort of way about you." He couldn't bring himself to say the words.

"What do we do now?" You asked slowly, trying to find the right words to ask, but none seemed to fit.

"I don't know," he seemed agitated to have to answer.

You turned to look anywhere but him, "Katsuki, we don't even, truly know anything about each other."

"Isn't that the point of dating? To get to know the other person?" He gave you a look like you were stupid.

You smirked up at him, "Are you saying you want to take me on a date?"

His face turned a light shade of red, "No, I mean, maybe. I don't know, I guess."

You tried to hide your smile at how flustered he got, "Oh come on, you can come into my room and kiss me, but you can't ask me on a proper date?" He turned to look away from you. You knew him well enough to know that words were not his strong suit and he was more of an action kind of guy, but you couldn't help but tease him a little. "Alright, how about we do something not too out of the ordinary. What about a study date tomorrow after class?"

He looked at you confused, "How is that a date if we're studying with everyone?"

You chuckled, "I never said the others were invited. We can study in my room... or yours?" you looked up at him for an answer.

"Uh, sure, we can study here." You'd be lying if you said you weren't at least a bit curious about his room, and if it looked like the one at his house.

"Alright well I'll see you tomorrow after class then."

"Right," He started to turn to leave.

"Wait, Katsuki, can you do me a favor?"

He turned to look back at you, "What do you want?" He sounded annoyed.

"I was just wondering if we could keep this between you and me for a little bit. I figured you wouldn't want the class in your business and I just don't want Eijiro finding out, for the time being."

"Why?" he looked perplexed by your request.

"Well you both are best friends and we're still trying to figure this out and I just don't want him to possibly be upset about this and for it to possibly not even lead to anything." You tried to sound convincing.

He thought about what you said, "Fine, for now." He left your dorm, letting the door close behind him.

You hated asking him to do that, but you didn't want to face Eijiro at the moment. The way he had acted earlier only proved to you that he wouldn't approve, and you didn't want to even start that conversation while you were trying to figure out how you felt about Katsuki. Sitting at the edge of your bed you put your head in your hands, contemplating if what you were doing was even the right choice.
