《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Chapter 12

Loud knocking at your door pulled you from your dream. Still feeling groggy you could barely make out what your brother was saying from the other side of the door.
"Hey sis, are you up? You're gonna be late."
You pushed yourself up, sitting in your bed. Something moved next to you, causing you to yelp as you jumped out of your bed and into the middle of your room.
"Do I need to come in there and get you up again?" the knob of your door started to turn.
Panicking you ran to your door stopping your brother from opening it any further. You stuck your head out, "I'm up, I'm up. No need to come in, I'll see you in class, later." You rushed through your words closing the door in your brother's face. You really needed to start locking your door. The memories of last night rushed through your mind. Katsuki had come to your dorm to watch TV but at some point, you must have fallen asleep. You waited a few moments until you were sure your brother was far enough away from your dorm.
Picking up a pillow that must have fallen off your bed when you had jumped out you whisper yelled, "Hey get up, we're going to be late." You launched the pillow at the sleeping Katsuki in your bed. But with some superhuman reflex he reached out catching the pillow before it hit him.
"Try again, the old hag's been using that one for years," he grumbled throwing the pillow back at you. It was aimed right at your face and moving too quickly for you to move, so you stuck your hand out stopping it with your quirk. It floated in the air a moment before you let go and it fell to the ground. You scowled; you knew it was only a pillow but at the rate that was moving it definitely would have still hurt. You looked over at Katsuki who was now sitting in your bed.
"Alright well you need to get out of my dorm before someone catches you in here."
"Will you stop talking?" he started making his way towards your door. "It's not like anything happened, we're just friends, right?" He smirked at you as he opened the door.
"Yeah, yeah whatever, just get out!" You shoved him out of your room.
You quickly ran to your bathroom to get ready for the day. Grabbing your books and your bag you ran straight for your class. You completely ignored Iida's demands for walking in the hall. You burst into your classroom, you bent down resting your hands on your knees trying to catch your breath. You glanced up to find Bakugou sitting in his seat, completely relaxed like nothing had happened this morning. How the hell did he get here so fast? You went to take your seat behind your brother.
"Alright, we need to get you an alarm clock or you need to start going to bed earlier." Your brother said turning to look at you.
All you could do was nod before resting your head on your desk. The rest of your day flew by and everything continued as normal. Neither you nor Bakugou brought up what had happened last night, and you tried to forget about it all together. Thinking about it only made you question how you felt. Sure, Bakugou had said you both were just friends, but his face and tone made it sound like he was insinuating something else. You found it best to just ignore it, that would allow you to ignore your feelings all together. Your brother had said he didn't feel comfortable with you both dating, but he didn't mention anything about the two of you becoming friends. And if you could shove your feelings aside then everything would be okay.

You spent the rest of the week acting normal and soon it actually began to feel normal again. There were no more late-night meetings in the common area. And for that you were grateful, you didn't want to tempt yourself with any possibility of there being something more with Katsuki.
Friday couldn't come soon enough and when it finally did you opted out of your normal study group and went home to spend time with your parents for the weekend. Even though you had been in Japan for a while now, you hadn't spent much time with them and this weekend felt like the perfect time.
"Dinner's almost ready dear and I invited your brother as well, he should be here soon."
"Okay," you replied to your mom. You were sitting on the couch in your living room, fixing up your Animal Crossing Island. You hadn't been on in forever and it had become overrun with weeds. Your family's husky, Sora, was ecstatic to have you home and she was curled up at your side on the couch, resting her head in your lap. She may have been the family's dog, but she had ultimately picked you as her favorite. She followed you everywhere and it didn't matter who came through the door, she wouldn't rush to greet anyone unless it was you.
You heard your brother opening the front door, and Sora's head popped up, her ears on alert. She instantly jumped off the couch and rushed for the front door. You heard a thud come from the front room. You stood up confused, "Alright E, what did you do to my dog? She's never been this excited to see you." You walked towards the door and found him standing perfectly fine, you looked to the ground and saw someone else on the floor.
"Sora, come on girl get off," your brother tried to pull her away from her victim as she licked their face. He pried her off and revealed Bakugou on the floor.
"Some hero, you really got taken down by a dog?" you laughed.
"Tch, shut up, I wouldn't try and hurt your dog, dumbass."
Your mom made her way out of the kitchen, "You brought him!" she shouted as she went to give Bakugou a hug. What parallel universe am I in right now?
Your brother made his way over towards you, "When you were gone, mom would always make too much food, forgetting that you left. So, I started bringing Bakugou over, he's basically replaced you." He laughed nudging your shoulder.
"Shut up," you retorted, shoving him back.
"Dinner will be ready soon guys, make yourself at home." With that your mom went back to finish up.
Your brother and Bakugou made their way to E's room talking about some new game that came out. You returned to the couch, picking up your switch and returning to island life. It wasn't long before your brother emerged from the hallway with one of his consoles in hand.
"What are you doing?"
"We're going to play in here, the TV's bigger."
You rolled your eyes, returning back to your game. Your brother sat down on the couch next to you and Bakugou on his other side. Sora walked over and sat at Bakugous side, putting her head on his knee. You looked up at her, Traitor you thought. The three of you sat there playing your games, your brother or Bakugou yelling whenever they died.

Your mother made her way into the living room, "Eijiro could you help your father with something in the shed? He's been asking for you. And Y/N I need to you to go to the store. Bakugou, would you be a dear and go with her? It's getting dark and I don't trust those darn paparazzi."
"Mom, it's fine, I've been to the store."
"Dear, please, it would put me more at ease." She grabbed your shoulders; you could see a bit of fear in her eyes.
Sighing you said, "Fine."
You walked towards the door slipping on your shoes. "Hurry back, thanks again." Your mom handed you one of her grocery lists and gave you a quick hug. The two of you walked out and you glanced down at the list. None of the ingredients went together. It honestly looked like she had just written down random things.
"Come on," you said, leading Katsuki towards the store by your house.
The two of you walked for a while before you heard someone calling your name. You turned slightly and saw a boy jogging towards you. "Shit," you said attempting to hide your face, like you didn't already look back at the call of your name.
"What?" Katsuki gave you a confused look.
"The guy coming towards us, he's a childhood... friend, I guess. He's had a crush on me since we've moved to this neighborhood. No offense to him, but he kind of creeps me out. He's just kind of pushy, you know?" You wanted to keep walking and pretend like you hadn't heard him, but it was too late for that.
"Hey! Y/N! I haven't seen you in the neighborhood in forever, where've you been?"
"Uh just at school mostly," you said half turning towards him half stepping in the opposite direction.
"Right, you haven't been posting on your Instagram as much either, I miss seeing your posts on my timeline." He smiled at you. His eyes looking you over as he spoke.
"Uh-" you reflexively leaned back, away from him.
Suddenly you felt an arm wrap around your shoulders. "Can't you see we're busy here? Beat it, extra." Katsuki had lifted his other arm, his quirk creating small sparks leaping from his palm.
The boy's eyes grew wide, "Oh, I uh- didn't realize you were um, I'll see you around." He started backing away as he spoke.
"No, you won't," was all Katsuki said as he turned you both around, walking towards the store.
"I've never been happier to have someone come with me to the store," you laughed. "Thanks."
He looked down at you, still under his arm. "It's whatever. You just need to be more assertive with creeps like that."
"Easier said than done," you muttered. "You know he's gone right?" You pointed at Katsuki's arm still wrapped around you.
"And if he turns around? You have to make it believable, dumbass." He mumbled, looking away from you.
"Right," you smirked. "So, if you're my fake boyfriend right now, I think that calls for a nickname."
"Don't you dare."
"I'm thinking along the lines of Suki."
"Stop."
"Oh, come on, Suki. You don't like it?" Your tone was overly sweet.
"You know two can play at this game, right?" He sneered at you, "You can be a royal pain so how about Princess." He spoke the word with a complete lack of endearment. Only he could have made it sound like an insult.
"I hate you," you crossed your arms.
"Yeah right," he laughed, as he squeezed your shoulder with his arm.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
He stopped, spinning you to face him. He placed both arms on your shoulders intertwining his fingers behind you. "You're so into me." He paused; his face was inches from yours. Your heart had skipped a beat before it sped up. He searched your face, looking at your shocked expression before he started laughing.
You shoved him, "Will you quit messing around." You pulled out the list your mom had given you. "Lets just get this over with." You rolled your eyes as you both walked into the store. The two of you meandered around for a bit, trying to find the random things your mom had written down. Once everything was checked off the list you made your way back towards your house. The trip back was uneventful, and you moved the bag you held to one side as you searched for your house key. Once you had gotten the door open you both made your way to the kitchen to set down your mom's groceries.
"Oh, good your both back, thanks again for going." She gave you both a smile. "Dinner's ready!"
"Wait what? Then what was the point of us going to the store?" You questioned your mother.
"Oh, we were just running low on some things and I didn't feel like going."
You put your palm to your head, sighing. This lady was something else sometimes. The five of you joined at the dinner table, Bakugou and your brother discussing random topics like their games and whatever, your parents asked you about school, your mom scolding you for ignoring your agent. Overall, it was nice, you'd missed family dinners, and this was something you could get used to again. Once everyone was done you and Eijiro began to clear the table. The both of you moving in sync.
"Sometimes I forget how alike they are," your mother said to Bakugou as they both stared at you and your brother with slightly confused expressions.
When you had finished up, your brother began walking towards the door. "Alright, we should head back to school."
Your mom came up to him with a look of sadness on her face, "Do you have to go so soon? I miss having you boys over all the time." She gave your brother her puppy dog eyes.
Eijiros heart immediately breaking as he saw her sad face, "Oh no mom, we can stay, if you want us to stay."
Her face instantly lit up, "Wonderful! I just love having you both over and now that your sisters' home, I just want to spend more time with all of you!" Your mother could play your brother like a fiddle. You looked at her, your eyes squinting slightly. What was she up to?
