You woke up groggily, you reached up for your phone, but it wasn't in its usual spot. What time is it, you wondered. You opened your eyes blinking to find an unfamiliar room. Instantly you sat up looking at your surroundings. The events from yesterday coming back to you, the last thing you remembered was watching a movie with Katsuki. But that didn't explain how you ended up here. You looked around for your phone, you hadn't talked to anyone since you left campus and you didn't want anyone, especially your brother to worry about you. Your phone was nowhere to be found; you must have left it in the living room.

Getting up from the bed you made your way to the door. Peeking your head out you tried to listen to see if anyone was up. The house was eerily silent.

"What the hell are you doing?"

You turned slowly to find Katsuki standing in the hallway. "I, uh, just didn't know if anyone was up."

"It's 11, who wouldn't be up? Well besides you apparently."

With an eyeroll you asked, "Where are you parents?"

"They went to the store or something, I don't know." He paused looking at you again. "Are you going to stay like that or?"

Realizing you were still hiding behind the door you walked out into the hallway.

"So, are you hungry?" Katsuki asked crossing his arms across his chest.

"You know you've been awfully nice lately. Who are you and what have you done with Katsuki Bakugou?"

"Tch, don't get used to it dumbass. The old hag would have my head if I wasn't nice to you while you're here." Of course, he was only being nice because of Mitsuki. "So, did you want something to eat or not?"

"Hmm, how about something along the lines of a 5-course breakfast?" you grinned at your own joke.

"And you're no longer allowed to decide what's for breakfast." He said as he began to walk away from you.

"Whatever but it better be something good."

"Let's go," he nodded toward the kitchen. "and you should probably brush your hair; it looks like shit."

This piece of- "Can I have nice Katsuki back, jerk Bakugou's being rude." You reached up to hair trying to pat it down.

The two of you walked into the kitchen, Katsuki rummaged around pulling out different ingredients. You continued walking and took a seat at the dinning room table. From your seat you could see him working, he was mixing things together in a bowl periodically adding something new to the mix. You caught yourself taking small glances at him when he wasn't looking, or so you thought.

"What? What do you keep looking at?" He said meeting your gaze. You could have sworn you saw a small smile on his face but as fast as you'd noticed it, it had disappeared.

"I, Uh was wondering what you were making." You stammered.

"You haven't figured it out by now?" He raised an eyebrow at you looking at you like it was the most obvious answer in the world. But to be honest you weren't really paying attention to what he was putting in the bowl.

"Um, no?"

With an exasperated look he pointed to the syrup bottle on the counter. "Have an idea now?"

"Yup," you turned your head, you rubbed your forehead using the palm of your hand to hide your face. Were you really so focused on him that you became completely oblivious to your surroundings? In the midst of your mental pep talk to get it together you remembered your phone. You sprang up from your chair and made your way into the living room. Picking up your phone you saw the endless messages. Most of them were from your brother asking where you were and if you were safe. A few were from Mina asking similar things. You opened your phone and scrolled through your notifications; your brothers last message gave you some relief.

Aizawa told me where you are. Pick up your phone sometime you could have saved me the stress.

At least he wasn't mad, you hoped. Mina's messages were a bit different.

OMG Aizawa told us where you are! You owe me details girl!

Great. You didn't mind "girl talk" with Mina but you really didn't want to talk about this particular situation with anybody. Your brain was still too muddled to process your true emotions about anything that had happened. With a sigh you turned off your phone, holding it in both hands you pressed the edge to your forehead. You stood there for a moment before dropping your arms and making your way back to the dinning room table.

A stack of pancakes was sitting in the middle of the table. A plate and utensils had already been placed in front of the chair you had been sitting in. Katsuki was sitting across from your seat scrolling through his phone.

Taking a seat, you glanced up at Katsuki. "Thanks for breakfast."

He shrugged in response, not really looking up from his phone he pushed the plate of pancakes closer to you. You took a few and poured some syrup on top. Taking a bite, your eyes grew wide and you'd all but stopped chewing. These were the best fucking pancakes you'd ever had.

Katsuki looked over at you, eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "What's with that face?"

"Huh?" His words bringing you out of the state of ecstasy these pancakes had put you in. "These are just some pretty good pancakes."

He looked as though he were trying to hold back a smile. Suddenly the front door swung open.

"We're home!" Mitsuki yelled into the house.

Oh, thank god, you'd thought to yourself. Mitsuki walked into the kitchen with groceries in hand.

"Katsuki, help but these away."

He looked up from his phone, "You know I should be getting ready to go back to UA."

"Katsuki, do not make me ask you again." Mitsuki looked sternly at her son.

He huffed but got up nonetheless and helped put away everything they had brought in.

"Now that my rooms not occupied; I'm going to get changed." He glanced at you. "and you, you should get ready to leave or I'm leaving you here." He left the kitchen making his way back to his room.

Mitsuki yelled after him, "I told you, you're not letting her walk by herself." She came to sit by you, taking a pancake. She looked up at you, "Did Katsuki make these?"

You nodded in response, taking the last bite.

"I can never get that kid to cook for us and he's so good at it." She shook her head. Looking back at you she said, "You probably want to change, come on." She led you to a bathroom down the hall from Katsuki's room and rummaged under the sink she pulled out a new toothbrush and a few other toiletries. "Here you can get ready and I'll get you your clothes and a jacket. It's still pretty cold out."

You brushed your teeth and washed your face while she was gone. When Mitsuki had returned she brought the clothes you had worn last night with a black hoodie.

"I washed them this morning with the laundry, hope you don't mind."

"Not at all" you said shaking your head. You were grateful for how hospitable she was. "Thank you, Mitsuki." You gave her a quick hug before she left. After you had changed, you realized the hoodie was a bit too big. It honestly swallowed you up and kind of looked like a dress. But whatever, it was warm and cozy and that's all that mattered.

Walking out of the bathroom you found Katsuki waiting in the hallway. "Are you ready to go?" He looked over at you and paused. "Where did you get that?" He asked pointing to the hoodie.

"Your mom let me borrow it. Is it yours?" You questioned. With a smirk you continued, "Well, if it means that much to you, you can have it back." You began to pull your arm out of the sleeve. But his hand grabbed your wrist stopping you.

"Tch, just wear it dumbass. I hated that hoodie anyway." He let you go and began making his way to the front door.

Mitsuki and Masaru met you both at the front door. They both gave you hugs and assured you that they would love for you to visit whenever you wanted. You smiled and turned to wave goodbye as you both began walking back to campus. Looking back towards Katsuki you saw that he was already down the street.

"Hey, wait up!" you yelled as you jogged to catch up with him.

She stood at the door laughing as she saw Y/N jogging to keep up with Katsuki.

"Well that was a bust," Masaru chuckled, walking back inside.

"Don't be so sure Dear." She replied closing the door looking at her husband. He gave her a confused look in response. "Did you know Katsuki actually made her breakfast this morning? Not to mention the jacket I gave her. That's been his favorite jacket since before middle school. Our son's good at hiding his feelings but I think he'll fess up one day."

Masaru chuckled again, "I think we should just to stay out of our son's love life from now on."

"Katsuki wait up!" You finally caught up to him. Trying to keep his pace you questioned, "Why do you walk so fast?"

"I don't walk fast dumbass. You just walk slow." Even with his snarky remark he slowed down walking in sync with your steps.

The two of you walked for a few moments. Usually on longer walks like this you would listen to music, but it felt rude at this point to put in your headphones. The silence wasn't awkward, but you would have preferred to fill it with conversation.

"Soooo," You started, not really sure what say. He gave you a sideways glance, keeping his head forward. "How's school?" You elongated your words, unsure of your conversation choice.

He sighed, "Are we really going to talk about something so trivial?"

"Well, why don't you come up with a conversation topic then? Hmmm?" You didn't think your topic of choice was that bad.

"I don't know," He shot back.

"Actually, I've wanted to know this for a while." You glanced over at him before continuing. "For someone so mean, why do you even want to be a hero?"

"I'm not that mean, you dork!" He yelled in response.

"Oh come on, you have to know how mean you can b-" You didn't quite finish your words as your foot slipped on some left over ice. You were headed face first into the street. Wonderful, a broken nose would be just great. You closed your eyes in anticipation of the impact of the ground. But it never came, instead you felt a hand wrap around your wrist, holding you up before you could hit the ground. Katsuki pulled you into a standing position.

"Watch where you're walking, dumbass." With his hand still wrapped around your wrist he pulled you to his other side, away from the street.

"Thanks for that. A broken nose isn't really good for business," You chuckled lightly.

"Whatever, just learn to use your eyes."

You both continued walking. "That right there, that's what I'm talking about. How are you going to save someone and then just be a dick right after?" You smirked at him.

Your banter continued to annoy him as you walked to campus. It wasn't long until your dorms building came into view. The two of you walked into the common area. Mina appeared instantly in front of both of you.

"Where have you both been hmm?" She questioned. She eyed the hoodie you were wearing.

"I just know Bakugou's parents from work stuff and they invited me for dinner. They wouldn't let me walk back in the snow. It's nothing like you were thinking." You laughed, trying to end the conversation. Katsuki went around Mina and continued walking as soon as she had stepped in front of you. You weren't sure if he had noticed that you reverted to using his last name. And you weren't sure if it mattered. "But I have so much homework Mina. I'll catch up later!" Before she could protest you bolted. It wasn't a lie; you hadn't done any of your homework this weekend. At least you'd be able to occupy your mind for the rest of the day. You didn't want to be left with your thoughts right now. The idea of analyzing what had just happened and coming to terms with your feelings felt like the last thing you wanted to do.
