《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》7. You're Such A Dork

You could hear Mitsuki's voice clearly as you made your way back to the kitchen. You couldn't shake what Bakugou had just said. But what bothered you more than anything was the fact that his statement had bothered you at all. It shouldn't have, what he said should not have mattered to you and it annoyed you that it did.
"Hey Y/N, we got some ice cream, but it might be too cold for it now." Mitsuki said as she noticed you walking into the kitchen.
You knew it had been cold lately, but it couldn't have been that bad. "What do you mean?"
"Take a look outside, it's snowing."
That took you out of your mood. "It's what? That can't be true." You rushed to the window above the sink. But she only told the truth, and you shouldn't have expected otherwise.
"Well it looks like you're staying here. There's no way I'm letting you walk back to UA in that weather. Especially not at night. I'll call the school and let them know where you'll be."
The shock of what was happening prevented you from protesting. You wanted to say that it wouldn't be necessary and that it wasn't as bad as it looked. Hell, you walked in the snow all the time in New York. But the rational part of your brain told you that it didn't matter what you said. Mitsuki's motherly instincts would never let you leave this house during a snowstorm. And this was definitely turning into a snowstorm, because the longer you looked outside the more the snow fell and soon enough the ground would be covered.
Mitsuki returned to find you in the same spot she left you. "Alright now that that's taken care of, you can sleep in Katsuki's room tonight and I'll make him sleep on the couch."
You instantly turned to look at her, rushing through your words, "No, you don't have to do that. Really, I can totally take the couch."
She gave you a perplexed look. "It's really no problem, Y/N. He's already agreed."
All you could muster in response was, "Huh?" There's no way he would agree that easily.
Mitsuki laughed at your expression. "Are you okay? Maybe you need to lay down. Come on, I put a new pillow and another blanket in there for you." She began to walk towards Katsuki's room and motioned for you to follow.
You walked back into his room and found that he was no longer there. She handed you the blanket and pillow.
"If you need anything at all just let me know." She gave you a hug before leaving you alone. You stood there a moment completely lost in your thoughts. What the actual hell was happening right now. You suddenly felt something hit you in the back of the head. It was soft, like fabric. You looked on the floor behind you and found a black shirt and sweats. You looked up and found Katsuki leaning in the doorway.

"Throwing things like a child, now are we?" you questioned him.
"The old hag figured you would want to sleep in something comfortable. But if you're going to act like that, I can just take them back."
"No!" you said a bit to quickly. "Uh, I mean, I would like something comfortable to wear, uh thanks?"
He smirked at you, looking as if he was holding back a laugh from how flustered you were acting.
"You're such a dork." He pushed himself off the doorway and walked down the hall towards the living room once again leaving you alone in his room. What the hell was going on? Was this even reality anymore? Your brain only able to question everything.
Closing the door, you quickly changed before you glanced in the mirror. These had to be Katsuki's there was no way Mitsuki would ever wear something like this. This singular thought once again made you feel like Denki when he short circuited. You looked at the clock on Katsuki's nightstand, it was only 8:30. There was no way you were going to bed anytime soon. But you didn't know what to do. Katsuki always went to bed around this time at school and you didn't want to bug Mitsuki or Masaru.
A swift knock at the door broke you from your thoughts. Oh God, who could it be this time. You hesitantly walked to the door.
"Open up dumbass, this is still my room you know?"
You opened the door to find Katsuki on the other side. He stood with his hands wrapped behind his head. His arms were slightly flexed in the raised position and his expression could only be described as pure indifference as he stared down at you. It took all your self-control to not let your jaw drop. What the hell was wrong with you right now?
"Must be weird to have to knock on your own door," you laughed.
He only rolled his eyes before he dropped his arms to his side. "The old hag made you a bowl of ice cream if you want it."
You completely forgot about the ice cream from the whirlwind of events that had just taken place.
"Ice cream would be nice actually."
You followed him down the hall back towards the kitchen. You walked in expecting Mitsuki to be there, but she was nowhere to be found. Katsuki turned back towards you shoving the bowl of ice cream in your hands.
"Uh, thanks?"
He nodded his head, indicating he wanted you to follow him again. He led you into the living room, sat on the couch and flipped on the tv. You took a seat on the opposite end of the couch, putting as much space between you as you could.
"What do you want to watch?" He questioned with a bored tone, looking in your direction.
Taking a bite of your ice cream you thought about your answer. "Don't you have to go to bed soon?" you turned to smirk at him.

"Tch, I don't always go to bed early, dumbass. Now pick something or I will."
"Fine, give me the remote."
He tossed the remote across the couch to you. You picked it up and began flipping through the channels. You landed on a movie that you haven't seen in a while. Dropping the remote in-between the both of you, you began to eat your ice cream again. But it didn't take long for the cold from the snow and the ice cream to start to get to you. You brought you legs up to your chest, curling into yourself. You turned away from the TV and looked at Katsuki.
"Hey... Katsuki?"
He sat up only slightly at your use of his first name. This was the only indication that you got that he had noticed.
"What do you want?" he asked not turning away from the movie.
"Do you have any popcorn?"
He sighed and you could see him roll his eyes at your request. But he didn't say anything as he got up and went into the kitchen. This felt like the most awkward encounter of your life. There was no reason for you to feel nervous, but being alone with him like this, you couldn't help it. Not only were you nervous, but the shivers from how cold you were, weren't helping. You noticed the blanket laying on the back of the couch, you pulled it towards you and wrapped yourself in it. Stretching out your legs across the couch, you were wrapped up like a burrito. Katsuki returned with a bowl of popcorn stopping at the end of couch where your feet were.
"Move."
"But I'm so comfortable," you groaned.
"You're so annoying," He picked up your feet and pushed them off the couch. Sitting back in his spot he popped a piece of popcorn into his mouth. You sat up and crossed your legs. Reaching over towards the bowl, but before your hand could reach, he pulled it away from you. "Oh? Did you want some?"
"Come on, Katsuki. You know I asked for the popcorn." You glared at him. "Stop being a jerk and just share."
"I don't think I will," he said as he pulled the bowl further away from you.
You reached across him for the bowl. "And you say I'm the annoying one," you huffed.
Snatching the bowl, you put it between the two of you. You settled back into the couch, rewrapping yourself in the blanket. When you were comfy once again you realized that you no longer were sitting on the opposite side of the couch. The distance between the two of you had dwindled and you were probably a mere foot apart. You tried not to think about it and focus on the movie, but your body was definitely aware of even the slightest movement that came from either of you.
It wasn't long before the popcorn was gone and Katsuki moved the bowl to the coffee table in front of you. Your heart skipped slightly as you noticed that nothing separated the two of you on the couch. The proximity between the two of you made you hyperaware of the heat that began to build between you both. You could feel his body heat radiating off of him. God you wanted nothing more than to curl up next to him, he felt like a fucking space heater.
You wished you could splash your face with some cold water to put a stop to these feelings. You shouldn't care about any of this and you definitely shouldn't have felt nervous sitting next to Bakugou. Staring at the TV you focused on your breath in an attempt to slow your heart rate. The warmth of the blanket combined with Katsuki's body heat began to help you relax. It wasn't long before your eyelids began to feel heavy. You put your head on the cushion attached to the back of the couch. It happened slowly and you tried to stay awake but soon enough you couldn't fight the gravity that pulled your eyelids closed. Your body falling over as you were pulled into a dream.
*Bakugous POV*
He sat slouched on the couch with his arms crossed as he tried not to glance at the girl who sat next to him. He instead focused on the stupid movie she had picked. But suddenly he felt pressure on his shoulder, and he had no choice but to look over.
"What are y-" he stopped when he realized she had fallen asleep next to him. Her head had fallen onto his shoulder in her unconscious state. He shook his head to himself, and she thought he was the one who went to bed early. He pondered for a moment on what he should do. He could wake her up and tell her to go to bed or... He sighed, got up and slipped his arms under her legs and back and picked her up. He carried her to his room, laying her on the bed. He began to stand back up when he heard her.
"Katsuki," she mumbled.
He froze, had she woken up? But after a few moments he realized she was still sleeping. Had she been dreaming about him? No, that was stupid. And why would it matter to him if she did. It shouldn't have.
He picked up the blanket his mother had left for her to use and laid it on top of her sleeping frame. He stood up and grimaced, get it together. There was no way he felt any sort of way about her. He sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose trying to clear his head. He turned to leave, as glanced at her one last time before he closed the door and went back to the couch.
