《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》6. What's it to You?

Mina's party was still running through your head when Monday morning came around. A group of your classmates managed to get Bakugou off the console long enough to give other people a chance to play. But his challenges did not stop there, and he persuaded you to a rematch at anything he could find in the common room. You didn't want to admit it, but you did have fun trying to beat him in anything he threw at you. His personality still irked you, but you couldn't help but have fun when he was around.
Your schoolwork made the week seem to crawl by and by the time Friday rolled around you couldn't wait to just relax for the entire weekend. The second you dropped your bag on the floor and fell into bed your phone went off. There was a message from one of the designers you loved to work with. She had invited you to dinner with her family for Saturday night. You may have been exhausted but you loved her and her husband so much you could not deny her invitation. The two of them had become your favorite people to work with in the fashion industry. They were both so nice to you and treated you like their own daughter. The three of you would always joke around and it wasn't long until you began to call them your work parents.
Soon after you sent your response you felt your eyes close. Tired from both the mental and physical work that UA had put you through, you couldn't stop the deep sleep that you had fallen into. By the time you had woken up the sun was well into the sky, glancing at your clock you realized it was almost noon. You couldn't believe you had slept that long.
Reaching for your phone you saw the messages you had missed from last night and a few from this morning. One from Mina asking to study last night, two from your brother about studying and seeing a movie tonight with his friends and one about tonight's dinner. You responded to each; apologizing to Mina that you had fallen asleep; you told your brother that you had plans but would hangout later and to your work mom that you couldn't wait for tonight. Dinner would be at 6, you figured you would at least shower now.
On your way back to your dorm you ran into Eijiro. He easily fell into step with you, walking up the stairs towards the dorms.
"What happened to you last night? Mina was trying to get a hold of you to study with us. It was just the two of us and we couldn't figure out a few answers."
You chuckled, "Sorry E, I fell asleep, I was so exhausted. But hey at least you got to spend alone time with Mina." You waggle your eyebrows at him.
He rolled his eyes, "So what's up with tonight you can't hangout? Mina, Denki and I were going to catch a movie."
"That does sound appealing, but I have plans with a designer from work. She invited me to dinner with her family."
"Alright well be safe, and you can't back out next time. Denki doesn't want to go with just Mina and I, plus he's been begging me to get you to go out with him."

"I'll be safe, E. Why don't you just take Sero or Bakugou with you?" You didn't say anything about Denki. You could see that entire situation ending in a dumpster fire. You didn't like Denki that way and you knew how Jirou felt about him and you could never hurt your new friend that way.
"Sero says he needs to spend extra time studying. He's falling behind in math and Bakugou got permission to stay with his family for the weekend. Something about his mom wanting him home for a few days."
"Why don't you ask Jirou to go with you guys?" you prompted, hoping Denki would take the bait and the two could finally be happy together.
"Ooo good idea, I'll see you later tonight. Remember to be safe and text me," he called after you.
You rolled your eyes, walking down your hall towards your door. Looking through your clothes, you tried to find something to wear. It had surprisingly been cold at night lately. Even though it was well into spring it was starting to feel like winter hadn't entirely left yet. You decided on a black long sleeve shirt that hugged your frame but not in an overly tight way. You paired it with a black and gray plaid mini skirt with black tights and black boots with a slight platform. In your bathroom you applied some makeup, not too much but enough to enhance your favorite features.
By the time you were finished it was time to go. Her house was close by and it wouldn't take to long to walk there, so you left your dorm and headed to the campus entrance. Slipping in your headphones you put on your favorite playlist and slowly became lost in your own thoughts. It had been awhile since you'd seen them, and you couldn't wait to meet their family. They had joked with you that they already saw you as part of the family, all that was left was to convince their son to marry you. You smiled at the thought of how crazy the two were and the buzz of excitement seemed to radiate off of you.
It wasn't long until you saw their house come into view. You walked up to the door, giving the doorbell a ring.
"Y/N! I'm so glad you're here!" Mitsuki pulled you into a tight hug. It was almost hard to breath.
"Thank you for inviting me," you said trying to catch your breath.
"Masaru! She's here!" Mitsuki called to her husband.
"Why if it isn't my favorite work daughter." Masaru gave you a much less aggressive hug.
You laughed, "I think you mean your only work daughter." He laughed with you as he let you go.
"It smells delicious, Mitsuki. What did you make?"
"Just a family favorite, it's just about ready. Let me get Katsuki down here to set the table."
You froze and your heart nearly stopped with you. Did she say Katsuki? As in Katsuki Baku... No that couldn't be the same person because their last name is Baku... You couldn't believe how stupid you were. Bakugou was the literal spitting image of Mitsuki.
"Katsuki get down here! I need you to set the table!"
You heard him yell something about her being an old hag before he walked into the kitchen. He stopped in the doorway when he saw you. His expression instantly turning into a glare.

"What the hell are you doing here?" He questioned you, his tone as unfriendly as possible.
"Katsuki that is no way to talk to our guest!" Mitsuki yelled at him.
With a smirk you said, "Well beating you at Mina's party the other day just wasn't enough, figured I'd challenge you at your own house too." You could hear Masaru laugh from the next room over.
"What's so funny old man?!" Bakugou growled turning towards the room his father was in.
"Katsuki quit yelling and set the table," Mitsuki's voice sounded strained, like she was moments away from throwing him out of the room.
He grumbled but still made his way to the dining room table.
"Here, Y/N it's ready I got you a plate."
"Thank you so much" you grinned as you went over to her. "It looks so good."
"I hope it tastes as good as it looks," Mitsuki grinned as she handed you the plate. "Masaru, come get a plate, it's ready."
You walked into the dining room. Masaru sat down next to Bakugou and Mitsuki took the seat across from her husband. That left you with the seat directly across from Bakugou. Great. You sat down, purposefully trying not to look at him, but you could feel his glare piercing through you.
"You never explained why you're here, nerd."
"Katsuki if you could refrain from calling our daughter a nerd please," Mitsuki said glaring back at him.
You couldn't help but laugh. "Well, I met Mitsuki and Masaru at their work, what seems like forever ago. They were so nice and helpful I couldn't help but love working with them. And they just ended up becoming my favorite people in the industry."
"The old hag being nice? I'll believe that when I see it."
"Don't call me an old hag you brat, I can be nice."
Their exchanges made it blatantly obvious where Bakugou had inherited his personality. The rest of dinner continued in the same way and it wasn't long before everyone had finished. Mitsuki got up and cleared the table.
"Do you want ice crea- Katsuki did you eat all the ice cream I bought?" Accusation rang clear in her voice.
There was a slight pause, "No," Bakugou replied with an attempt at sounding offended that she had thought so.
She groaned in response. "Masaru and I will go get something for dessert, you both stay here and don't get into any trouble. I'm looking at you Katsuki."
"Whatever, you old hag."
The two of them grabbed their coats and headed towards the door. "We'll be right back!" they called out before the door shut behind them.
You sat there looking at everything but Bakugou. Yet it couldn't be helped your eyes finally landed on him and he was staring at you. But before you could say anything, he broke the silence.
"What?"
You shook your head, "I don't know, what do you do for fun here?"
He rolled his eyes at you and got up to leave.
"Hey, don't leave me here, where are you going?"
He walked down the hall and stopped at a closed door. Turning to face you he said, "Why don't you go hang out in the living room?"
"What? Are you hiding something? Is this your bedroom?" you questioned with a slight smile on your face.
"Tch," was his only response as he tried to block you from the door. But you wouldn't give him the satisfaction of keeping you out. You pushed past him and opened the door.
"Hey, no one said you could go in there, dumbass." But he didn't stop you as you proceeded to walk in.
"No one gave you permission to come into my room but that didn't stop you a few weeks ago." A smirk spread across your face as you turned to look at him. His room looked pretty basic, the only thing that stood out sat in the corner of his room.
"A drum set?" you questioned turning back to face him.
He stared down at you, "What's it to you?"
You returned the stare, not backing down. His expression changed for a moment. It looked almost softer, but you couldn't decipher what it meant. But it was just a flicker before his usual hard expression returned.
"Nothing, I just didn't expect something like that from you, Bakugou."
He rolled his eyes, turning away from you, "You can call me Katsuki, you know."
That was a surprise, "Huh? No, I didn't know. To what do I owe the privilege?" You questioned sarcastically.
"Well you already call my parents by their first name and we call you by yours. Plus, your Kiri's sister so it just seems weird." He started mumbling at the end as he looked back at you. It almost seemed like he was embarrassed. Almost.
You wondered if he'd let that embarrassment show, "Well, Eijiro doesn't call you Katsuki."
He turned his face away from you again, "Look I just said you could, not that you had to. My parents already think your part of this family for some reason." He started speaking faster, his face had a hint of red. "And like I said, you're Kiri's sister, so you're like my sister." He stopped abruptly. His face turning a deeper shade of red.
Your mouth fell open slightly at what he just said. Maybe Eijiro really had nothing to worry about. Not that it mattered to you, why would you want to date such a jerk anyway.
"Uh, right." You're voice trailing off as you turned to look away from him. You heard the door open and Mitsuki and Masaru talking as they returned home. "Well I'm going to see if your parents need help with anything." You turned to leave him standing alone in his room.
What the hell? Why the fuck did I just say that? It's not like I have feelings for her or anything. She just got me so flustered with her stupid questions. Why couldn't she just say okay and move on. Why did she have to be so difficult all the time?
He stood there for a moment, not quite ready to go downstairs and face her or his parents yet. He could hear their chatter in the kitchen. With a sigh he closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger. What the hell is wrong with me?
