Taehyung wakes up to hear his mother singing that "happy birthday" song, while holding a cake in her hands. The tired boy slowly wakes up and a smile appears on his face, this happens every year, but he always gets emotional when it happens. "Happy birthday Taehyung, I love you" she says after she finished the song.

The 19 year old felt like crying, but tried his best not to, since it always happens and his mom tells him the same thing all the time when it happens. 'Taehyung, you're a big boy now, don't cry' is something she would always tell her son, but this time Taehyung could hold back the tears. "I love you too, mom" he finally answers back and blows out the candles on top of the cake.

"Hm, I'm surprised you haven't cried by now, since you always get emotional around this time" Mrs.Kim says in a mocking tone, but Taehyung just rolls his eyes "Well, you've changed. You ended up rude."

"Do actually want me to cry? Is that why you say all of this? Don't make me emotional" the birthday boy says in an angry voice, but he couldn't help but laugh a little afterwards, and his mom quickly joined in.

"I guess you're finally grown up now, hm? Jungkook changed you a lot" Taehyung raised a brow and a confused expression could be seen on his face.

"What do you mean? I'm older than him, how did he change me? In fact, I'm even more childish now than I was before, because of Jungkook" he says proudly, but Mrs.Kim had no idea how he was so proud of that, however she decided to not question it.

"Taehyung, don't stress it, let's just eat cake together before I have to leave for work"

"What? Why are you leaving so early? You said you was gonna work late today" Taehyung says with disappointment in both his tone and expression, while he stood up from the bed and changed into a grey hoodie instead of his pajamas t-shirt. He usually just wears boxers when he goes to sleep, but he knew his mom would wake him up today.

"You're right, I'm gonna work late tonight and I have to leave soon, since it's already 3 pm"

"Oh shit I slept all day! Jungkook must be worried"

"You're also right about that, since he's downstairs because you didn't answer your phone" Mrs.Kim laughs and walks downstairs again, but Taehyung decided to wash up before he walks downstairs as well. He doesn't wanna look literally dead when he meets his worried boyfriend.

A few minutes later, the birthday boy walks downstairs to be met by his mom and Jungkook, already eating HIS birthday cake "No, what kind of disrespect is this? I wash up to look fresh and alive for you, and this is how you pay me back? Eating my cake behind my back? Damn"

"It's not my fault you that you slept all day and had to wash up afterwards" his mom just answers, taking another bite of the cake.

"I don't want to smell and look like a sweating mess in front of my lovely boyfriend over there, who also eats my precious birthday cake though"

"Hyung, I already know how you look like when you're a sweating mess and to be honest, it's pretty hot"

"You don't have to say that in front of my mother though"

"She's probably used to these conversations anyway" and with that, Taehyung just shrugged and sat down, enjoying his birthday cake with two of the most important people in his life.

A few hours later, the two boys were just laying on Taehyung's bed and watch a movie together, a christmas movie, since the oldest is convinced that christmas is not over yet.

"Hold on, Jungkook" the said boy says and pause the movie, Jungkook makes a 'hm' sound and looks over at Taehyung "It's my birthday, where's my birthday present and kiss? I've been waiting for both of those all day.."

Jungkook almost forgot about the gift, until the older asked about it just now "Ah, about your gift.. To be completely honest, it was hard to find something, but in the end, I found something for the both of us I guess? Jimin thought it was lame.." he says and stood up from the bed, to get the small present from his jacket pocket. He's glad he didn't hang up his jacket downstairs.

He sat down in the bed again and gave Taehyung small present "Dude, this looks cute, is it something cute?" Taehyung asks before opening it, however Jungkook just shrugged as a response. "Oh" he says, before opening the small box.

Inside of the small box, it was an even smaller box, but this one looked more fancy. It was black and the text on the box was in gold. The boy was pretty sure it was a box for a necklace, or perhaps a ring. He opened the lid of the little box and could finally see what that was inside of the box, or what his birthday present from the younger boy is.

"Jungkook?"

"Yeah?" Jungkook answers, almost sounding rather terrified than anything else. He just hopes the older likes the present.

"Is this what I think it is?"

"I don't know, what do you think it is?"

Inside of the box, you could find two rings in a gold color and something written on it, but Taehyung was too happy to bother reading what it was "Did you actually buy couple rings for the two of us?"

"Yeah, but I wasn't sure if you would like it or not, however I couldn't find anything else and-" Taehyung thought it would be a good idea to just kiss the younger to make him shut up, than actually saying it. Because this is a cliche fan fiction after all.

"I love it, so don't say stuff like that!" he says and grabs the younger's hand. He quickly puts on one of the rings on his ring finger, but Taehyung doesn't put on a ring on his own hand, he just simply holds out his hand, waiting for the younger to get the hint.

After a few seconds, Jungkook understood what Taehyung tried to tell him, without actually telling him with words. He picked up the last ring and put it on the older's finger.

Right now, they just looked at each other, both of them just feeling happy and a bit flustered. They waited for the other to do something, but after some seconds, nearly a minute, the oldest understood that if he won't do anything, no one will, at least not right now.

He leans towards his younger boyfriend, only by nearly two years, and connects their lips one more time. This kiss was different, a lot different. The other kiss was short and was meant to the other to stop rambling about the gift, but this one was more romantic, everyone could tell that by just looking.

The kiss eventually turned into a make out session, and Taehyung sat on top of the younger at the moment. They know what they wanna do, both do.

Between deep breathing and sloppy kisses, they managed to get off Taehyung's oversized hoodie and Jungkook's plain white t-shirt. Since the older didn't put on some jeans, but just some sweatpants, he started to unbuckle the others belt.

It felt like they got all the time in the world, so they didn't know why everything went so fast. Maybe they were desperate to feel each other again? Jungkook nor Taehyung knew, but the thing Taehyung knew is that he didn't want them to feel desperate, he didn't want them to feel the need to do this so fast, just to feel each other like that.

He leans towards Jungkook's ear and whispers "Let's slow down a bit" the other's response was just a nod.

Both of the two boys' pants were off seconds later, and now they're only in their boxers. Taehyung is still on top of the other, and he starts to kiss Jungkook's neck, but eventually it turns into sucking. He leaves some marks, however he stopped only after a few and went straight to Jungkook's kissable lips again.

While they're kissing Jungkook takes off his own boxers, and tries to take of Taehyung's later, but unfortunately he failed. Taehyung on the other hand decided not to mock the other, he didn't wanna ruin the mood, so he took it off right after Jungkook tried.

The silence in the room was suddenly filled with deep breathing and later quiet moans from Jungkook, the moment Taehyung entered him. He felt himself that the moans only became louder and louder, he might've felt a bit embarrassed in that moment, but it's nothing he can do about it either. Taehyung really didn't mind anyway.

Both of the boys didn't say much under the intercourse, they enjoyed each other's preference too much to explain it with words. However, even though they didn't say much, they could just feel their love for each other.

Just like they wanted to, everything went slow and nothing was rough and kinky, like most people would probably think it would be. It was slow and lots of love.

"I love you" was the three words that escaped Taehyung's lips the moment he released inside of Jungkook, who shortly followed after.

When the two of them finally relaxed and breathed normally again, the older pulls out and lays down beside his boyfriend. Taehyung didn't get enough of Jungkook just yet, since he wrapped his arms around him and kisses his forehead.

"I love you too" Jungkook says, kissing the older on his lips "and happy birthday"

Taehyung chuckles "Thank you for the beautiful birthday present, and also the rings" the younger boy just ended up laughing with his older boyfriend, as they cuddle for the rest of the night, until they fall asleep.
