Jack: Ok tomorrow is the first day of your training, but I would call it an.... introduction of a sort

Risa: Is it possible to schedule our first training for another day?

Jack: Nope, it was hard enough getting you all out of the hospital, but re-scheduling your first day is impossible

Kate: We nearly died yesterday, I'm pretty much fine but Solana and Risa need time, we're going to fail for sure

Solana: I told you I will be fine in 2 days flat, give me tomorrow and I'll be at my peak

Risa: -lightly pokes her finger to Solana's side-

Solana: Oww!! Can you not!!

Risa: Yeah, "2 days flat" right?

Solana: Shut it!

Risa: How about this -looks Solana in the eyes- Since you love boasting about your family how about you talk with them to reschedule our first day.

Solana: Y-Yeah...um, we don't need that we got this!!!

Risa: hmph...

Jack: Well if you would all stop complaining I'm going to explain to you all what you will be today tomorrow exactly

Risa: Can you at least unchain us

Solana: Yeah being stuck with her is another hell within itself

Risa: Bro what!? I should be the one saying that!

Solana: You're damn right you should be saying that, saying that you're a pathetic loser

Risa: -Punches her across her jaw-

Solana: -pulls Risa's hair-

Kate: -separates them- ENOUGH!! How are we going to pass if we can't even cooperate with each other!

Kate: I don't know anything about you guys but I came here for a reason, I want to become a Pokemon Ranger, and I will not let either of you be the reason I fail. So many people have put their trust in me and I have worked too hard to fail because you guys can't stop fighting over childish nonsense!!! Get your acts together and help to formulate a plan so that we can all make it!! -storms off-

-Everyone goes silent for a while-

Solana: Great, the day barely started and I'm already in a bad mood -about to walk away-

Risa: -pulls the chain- We need to know at least some idea about what we are going to do or we will be going in blindfolded tomorrow

Solana: What's the point!! What's the point of any of this, the most experienced and best rangers work alone. So what's the point of all this team stuff. Now let go of the chain!! -tries to pull it back-

-They both get into a tug of war with the chain-

Risa: You're so selfish, you're not the only one dealing with this, many others just like us were put in a team!! Do you really want to be a Pokemon Ranger!? Are you just going to walk away from it all!!

Solana: Of course not!!

Risa: Then what are you going to do!!!

-Solana stops trying to pull the chain and goes silent-

Risa: Answer Solana, what are you going to do!!

Solana: I don't know Ok!!

Risa: Then let's work together. I want to become a ranger just as much as you, we can't do that without each other, we need to pass this, or all of our hopes and dreams will tarnish before our eyes. So please, please.....let's do this together. -puts a hand out-

Solana: -cliches he teeth- Don't expect me to be on board with this immediately, all I want to do is to become a ranger if it means working with you, then fine -grabs Risa's hand-

Risa: -smiles- That's the spirit!

Solana: -lightly blushes and looks away- Stop smiling...

Jack: Good job girls, you're one step closer to becoming a formidable team, my teaching is amazing!! I should start my own school,

Risa: You didn't anything

Jack: Of course I did, it may not look that way because I believe in letting others resolve their own conflict

Risa and Solana: That's just being lazy

Jack: -cough cough- Anyway let's get started

Risa: Wait, we need Kate here as well

Solana: Uhhhhhhhh

Risa: Stop your whining, come on -grabs her hand and heads in the direction where Kate stormed off-

Risa: Kate, wait, we're sorry!!

Solana: Yeah she's sorry, she didn't mean to offend you

Risa: -jabs her elbow into Solana's stomach-

Solana: We're sorry, so please let's work together as a team and get through this academy -bows- please...

Kate: -sighs- I don't know anymore

Risa: Come on, we worked well together against Palmer

Kate: I'm not doubting our abilities or skill with pokemon, I saw firsthand that you both are strong. It's our personalities and traits that collide, and we only worked together so well because it was a life-and-death situation.

Risa: Every mission as a ranger is a life and death situation so that doesn't matter

Kate: The point is the more we interact with each other the more apparent our own ideals and traits will show and collide, which will eventually lead to us falling apparent in life and death situations

Risa: If that's the problem then our solution is simple, we just need to get closer to each other

Kate: -sighs- I like your optimism but Queen Selfish over here will hinder everything

Solana: Oh come on, you guys will find any way to hate me

Kate: Cause you deserve it, you're so prideful and too overconfident in your abilities to see your other terrible traits, you're simply not built for a team Solana. On the other hand, Risa is nearly the complete opposite. Against Palmer, she put her full trust in us and when you were unconscious you could see her face full of emotion. She is made for a team setting and knows how strong she is not to the point of downplaying others.

Risa: You picked all that up in just a day?

Kate: Of course, observation skills are key. Listen, seriously Solana, you are not obligated to become a Pokemon Ranger just because of your family. Using a reason such as that will only hinder yourself and others around you. Yes, I know most of the top rangers are lone rangers but if you learn to communicate and synergize with us you'll be ready for a solo mission, you should know more than anybody that the Ranger family is not stupid, they made this team system for a reason.

Solana: You wouldn't get it, you have no idea how it is for me. My entire family line top of the line Pokemon Rangers since the time of my Great Grandfather, they are all born with talent for this but I'm just not good enough, everything I do is not enough, i tried and tried

Risa: Then prove them wrong! Prove to them that you can make it then they will be crying for your forgiveness

Solana: I can't prove anything to anyone if we can't even pass the first day. We had no time to recover at all, it's not far!

Risa: We'll figure out something alright! We don't even know what we're going to be doing. Come on, let's go back to Instructor Jack

Solana: -grabs Risa's wrist- Wait before we go um...you guy know where manaphy went

Kate: Manaphy? Oh I completely forgot! I wonder where Barry is too

Risa: We got to find Manaphy fast!

Solana: No it's ok, who knows where it's anyway

Risa: That's a mythical pokemon at here

Solana: It doesn't matter, we never worked together anyway, she was going to leave sooner or later. We got more important matters

Risa: Fine -sighs-

-They head back to where Jack is-

Jack: That took a while, ok are you guys finally ready

All three: Yes!!

Jack: Ok, tomorrow's test is going to be completing a 24 hour race. Sounds simple right, but there are many rules and things to know about this race. You must complete this race as a team as fast as you can along with maintaining how many points you all have. 1 person equals 10 points, you can get points by saving pokemon by catching them in special pokeballs that will be given to you. Each pokemon you save will be worth 5 points, in addition to that points will be given out for time. Squads who complete the test in around 15 hours will be given 50 points, 16 hours will be given 40, 17 is 30, 18 is 20, 19 is 10, 20 above will be given nothing.

Solana: This is going to be dreadful -yawns-

Risa: It kinda sounds like fun!

Kate: There's a couple of questions I would like to get clarity for but I'll start with this, what happens if you don't pass in 24 hours

Jack: You're asking the right question, what I didn't tell you guys is that only 10 teams will pass and whoever does not finish before the 24 hours is up will be disqualified. That's all I will be able to share with you today, tomorrow you should be receiving something with the rules and map of this test. Let's keep this a secret, I sneaked around and stole some papers of the test.

Risa: So you're saying we all weren't supposed to know until tomorrow

Jack: Yes, so I would very much appreciate it if we all keep silent or we will all get in trouble. Good, now go to your room and brainstorm
