Author's note: This is the second last installation of the Zodiac Hunger Games special-I hope you enjoyed reading it just as much as I enjoyed writing it! I'm going to leave this book with a very open-ended ending. The end the characters find can be left to your imagination (spoiler: it's mainly going to be the ships that I'll leave open ended!) Please feel free to share your theories in the comments! Thank you for your support-7.7K! I'm shocked!

VIRGO'S POV

"Well, you must be Virgo Holloway. I must say, while your clone really did look quite handsome, your conscience has just given you that extra... heat." I stood, facing the woman who had just entered the strange quarters I'd woken up inside. "Apologies. How incredibly rude of me to not introduce myself! I am Mrs. English." She offered me her hand. I grasped it, shaking it firmly. "Pleasure to meet you, Mrs. English. Pardon my asking-exactly where am I?" A tall, broad shouldered boy bustled in, an intimidating expression on his face.

Leo.

"I'll tell you what happened-we've been resurrected." Leo growled. "Now I actually have to think about how the girl I love killed me." I sighed, attempting to compress my shock. Mrs. English laughed, nudging me gently. "Honey, you've just come back from the dead. It's okay to be shocked." I turned, looking at an artificial window programmed to display a golden-brown autumn evening. "I'm just... I don't understand why you would do this." Mrs. English looked down at her feet, seemingly worried. "You see, we are the parents of Libra. We want to meet her. And, well, given how upset she must be with us already, we felt that resurrecting you all would prove to... even the playing field. Give her something to appreciate us for."

I nodded. "So we're like leverage. Tokens of peace." Mrs. English nodded, smiling slightly. "Well, I feel you've gotten a bargain, considering we brought you back to life." I nodded, doing my best not to judge these people.

Leo turned toward Mrs. English, clearly furious. "You mean I'll have to see that.... that...." Mrs. English laughed gently, stroking Leo's shoulder. "Can't find a word strong enough to address my daughter? Well, just remember, she happens to be our daughter, and, well, we brought you back to life. Remember, dear boy, the apple never falls far from the tree, both in appearances and morals." Leo flicked Mrs. English's hand off his shoulder, seething. "Well, it really doesn't, considering just how shallow and material your whole family is."

I heard steps from the corridor, as did the others. I watched, open-mouthed, as Aries charged in, lunging at Leo and pinning him to the ground. "Wha-" Leo was silenced by a punch from an enraged Aries. "You little jerk!" Aries pushed himself up, placing his foot on Leo's chest. "What kind of damned friend are you, anyway? You tell me all those things before the Games about us being cool even though we liked the same girl-"

"That-that girl-she killed-killed me-" Leo choked out. Aries only pushed his foot down further, his piercing gaze boring into Leo. "Well, why did she kill you?" Leo coughed, forcing Aries to lift his foot from the District 4 tribute's neck. "Because... she found out I killed you." Aries backed away from Leo, dumbfounded, before clearing his throat to speak. "She... she chose me?"

"She chose neither of you, you idiots." Scorpio walked in, his expression strangely calm. "She chose herself every time." Scorpio sighed, tugging on the zipper of his jacket. "Libra killed me too. I guess she really was going with the no-strings-attached thing."

I sighed, looking down at my hands. This was crazy. But, at the same time, I was alive. And that was something nothing could take away from me. I smiled slightly, leaving the others to go find myself something to eat.

PISCES' POV

"No supplies.... no nothing.... so cold..." I found myself whispering silently to myself as I swam toward the Cornucopia. Using my fins to propel myself, I reached for the concrete wall separating the water and land, pushing myself up onto the wall. I sighed, placing my fins on the side of the wall before trudging toward the Cornucopia. I approached a box of canned food, noticing some medicine on an opposite counter. Cradling the box in my hands, I reached toward the medicine before noticing anther shadow on the ground. I pressed myself against one wall of the Cornucopia, trying to stay hidden, when a sword slashed through my thigh. "Ahh!" I staggered backward, gripping a spear. Cancer appeared from behind the wall, an arsenal of weapons at the ready.

I tried not to cower into a corner fearfully, attempting to hold my ground as I spun my spear to deflect the bullets being shot by Cancer. "Hand over the medicine!" I clutched the medicine, determined to stay composed. "No." She slashed at my arms with her sword, landing a blow. I staggered, the immense blood flow coming from my arm causing me to lose my balance. Cancer rushed forward, sword at the ready. No more cowering. Stand tall. You got this.

Moving back, I adjusted the position of my spear, aligning its tip with Cancer's chest. The tribute, having gained too much momentum, ran straight into the spear. I watched, horrified, as it punctured her heart, her eyes wide open as she fell. The spear emerged once again through her back, a disgusting sight to behold. Sighing, I knelt down, trying to pull the spear out. When it wouldn't budge, I threw a sheet over Cancer's dead body with my good arm, unable to carry any of my supplies.

Even though the reasonable thing to do was to stay on land, I walked back toward the water, plunging into it. I winced, the water burning my wound, clouds of red water rising to the surface of the water. I tried to push through, tried to swim.... but I was sinking. My arm, above, reaching for help... My head below the water, my attempts to rise again were all in vain. I closed my eyes, prepared for my impending-

TAURUS

"Hello, dear final Tributes! New deaths are: Scorpio, killed by... Libra! Wow! Cancer, killed by Pisces, Pisces, drowned... You know what this means-only Libra and Taurus remain! Let's see who emerges as our victor!" I sighed, continuing my trek toward the Cornucopia. I knew that in order to win, I would have to find Libra and kill her. It couldn't be too difficult.... She had, however, killed two people already. I would have to approach with caution.

I heard the flapping of wings to my right. Swiveling, I noticed an unusually large white bird...

Wearing a blood-stained white dress.

Libra.

"Well, if it isn't Libra." I sighed. Libra smiled manically, her mental state clearly too rattled for her to think straight. The tribute swooped down, hands extended, ready to snap my neck. I grabbed a propeller shaft, slicing through one of Libra's wings. "AHHH!" She crashed, blood dripping from her right wing. "Let's just even the playing field, shall we?" I sliced through Libra's second wing, watching as all the blood drained out of her system. It was a matter of minutes before Libra died. "I won't-lose!" Libra raised her arm, pulling a trigger without warning and sending a bullet straight into my-

LIBRA

I smiled, watching Taurus fall. I had won the Hunger Games. Me, the strange, winged girl with no potential. "And a wounded Libra English De Loughrey has won the Hunger Games!" I laughed upon hearing the announcement before stopping to wonder whether winning was worth it. Worth killing three people. I shuddered, watching the copter approach, shadowed by the sun-

NOBODY'S POV

"Alas, the winner of this year's Hunger Games has passed."
