The story begins in the kingdom of Ferro. Five anti-heroes each with a different story, and a unique purpose set out on an epic journey. Leading their paths to cross as they unwillingly/willingly fall in political schemes and a war between kingdoms all while, unknownst to them, being pawns in a power struggle of ancient powerful beings. Note: The first five chapters will introduce each of the five main characters and the start of their journey.

*This is a learning experience for me so please keep in mind that I am attempting to work on some of the issues brought to my attention early on. However I haven't yet gone back to redo the early chapters.* Less than two days ago every piece of electronics in the world stopped working for more than two hours. The death toll was immense. Hospital equipment failed, cars stopped in the middle of the street, planes fell from the sky, and homework was lost at the worst possible moment. We found out that it was just the flicker and hum of The System warming up. Now we see the true cost of our new world. A Dark comedy that focuses on a few of the many people who aren't stuck in a high level dungeon when our world is translated and joined to Our Shattered Realms. Should they succeed in helping the deranged elf reach his goal, the legendary Heart of the Abyss, Arahn and his fellow criminals will be free to go. Alongside his new elven master Arahn is joined by Morvar: a half-troll brute, Cathran: a young herbalist’s apprentice who professes her innocence, and Evan and Lem: a pair of thieving goblin twins. Together they descend into the Abyss, knowing they will have to work together or else perish in the bowels of the dark labyrinth, becoming victims of the deadly traps and ferocious creature’s legend to reside within. [This is an early draft. Looking for feedback on characters/story as I work on my ideas.]
