I paced around my room. I cant believe I just stood there frozen. My god I am so stupid.
"" I heard Lia holler.
I walked down stairs to her room and knocked on the door.
"" She called.
I walked in and plopped on her bed.
"" I called her.
She was studying but I needed some advice.
""
"" She almost broke her desk the way she flew around in her chair.
"" Yerim comes in to intrude.
"" I sat up on the bed and looked at her with puppy eyes.
"" Yerim teases me.
I groaned and flicked her head ""
"" Lia said under her breath. She looked so focused, but she wasn't even turned towards her desk.
"" Lia suggested. ""
I nodded my head maybe it seems like a good idea.
"" Yerim asked me. I nodded my head and got off the bed.
""
""
I was still waiting for Lily to text me, but I might have to text first. I tried walking around the mall to get my mind off of it but that's when I saw her with a another girl that is shorter than Lily...and me.
Now that I'm not wearing heels, I noticed that Lily is a littler shorter than me. She looks so cute with that outfit. It's unique and outstanding.
I was about to call her but she went into a building, I noticed the name and got confused...she's a little? Or the other girl?
She doesn't seem that way. Maybe it's because she super shy and doesn't speak much.
That's when I had an idea, a wide smile formed on my lips. I went into the building and saw Lily going into a separate room.
"" The lady at the information desk welcomed me. I walked up to the desk and nodded.

""
Caregivers? That's right. I remember reading something online about this.
"" I responded with a smile. I had a mask on to hide my public identity but you can still see my eye smile.
"" She asked.
"" I started to get nervous. I'm not sure why. Is it because I'm and idol who can get in trouble for being in this place?
I hate that the media likes to twist everything.
""
I rubbed my nape "" I chuckled awkwardly but realized that it sounded weird "" I quickly add but I think it makes it more suspicious.
If I could slap myself I would. That was the most dumbest thing I've said to make myself look like a kidnapper. Ugh idiot.
The lady started to chuckle and wave her hands ""
I finally exhaled. I kept that breath in for so long.
I saw that girl that walked in with Lily. I smiled as she walked past but the lady called her name.
"" The lady asked her. She smiled back at me and walked over.
"" Yerim asked.
It's her birthday soon? I wonder her age?
""
My eyes widened and I slowly nodded.
""
"" Yerim asked me. God I hope I don't sound like a stalker. I nodded my head again.
"" Yerim smiled widely.
I chuckled and started to blush a little. I thought Lily couldn't recognize me with the mask or anyone else.
"" I ask flustered.
She nodded her head quickly.
"" Yerim's smile couldn't get bigger. It made me happy that Lily like my songs.
"" I spoke.
"" Yerim suggested. I nodded head and smiled.
We were about to walk out when I heard Lily's voice calling for Yerim. I hid on the side on the counter, crouched down, so Lily couldn't see me.
"" I heard Lily ask.
Did I get caught? I should have been more careful!

The characters have depth, the fights are wonderfully descriptive, and I genuinely wanted to read more about the world of Arnacript when the novel was done.” - Ramon Mejia, author of Adventures on Terra, and host of the Geek Bytes Podcast "Fun story that keeps you invested. I recommend it! Welcome to LitRPG Michael-Scott. Glad you joined the fam!" - Aleron Kong, author of the Chaos Seeds series and The Father of American LitRPG “Lion's Quest is the type of book I'm always on the lookout for and rarely ever find. It's the beginning of a series I know I'm going to enjoy, with great writing and hints of deep in-game lore. The characters are fun, the plot is engaging, and I never know what is going to happen next. The action is fast, brutal and realistic. This is one of my favorite LitRPG stories in the entire genre.” - Blaise Corvin, author of Delvers LLC: Welcome to Ludus and Secret of the Old Ones “A great first foray into LitRPG. Shadow Falls
If you wanted to protect someone you loved, how far would you go, and what would you be willing to sacrifice? This question is at the core of this emotional rollercoaster of the book, Shadow Falls: the Rise and Fall of Erida VanIsle. This book emerged from four years of collaborative storytelling centering on the main character, Erida VanIsle, written by author Myra VanIsle. In this book, VanIsle goes beyond the events that led to Erida's sacrifice and explores forty-five years of the cost she paid to protect the sister she loved more than life itself. Shadow Falls explores the family tragedy which led to the separation of two sisters on completely different paths polar opposite of each other. While Erida set upon a path of darkness and power, Myra set out to be a beacon of light and hope bringing justice and peace to others. Be warned, the story VanIsle tells is dark and not easy, because you can't have the light without the dark.
