《[A Promise]>R. Tempest x Reader》Chapter 57×

You let out a small giggle as you made your way out the door. Your eyes darted to Rimuru's blushing face as he stared down at the ground, trying his best to prevent you from seeing his tomatoe face.
"Now that I'm all better, let's go." You wrapped your arm around your husband's as you both began walking.
"You're so cute when you're blushing."
Since when have you became so bold when complimenting the man?
"Hmph..whatever." The blue head mumbled.
You let out a small chuckle at his pouty behavior. "I'm glad that everything's back to normal." You changed the subject, hoping it can get him to look at you. "Who knew what would happen if everything didn't go as plan."
Your husband agreed. "I'm glad too. I'm happy everyone is back. I don't think I'd continue holding in the anger I had." He laughed at his statement.
It was almost scary how similar you and your husband were. As soon as someone you love is in danger, you both would do anything to protect them even if it meant sacrificing your life for it.
And you were sure it would be worst if you or Rimuru were in danger.
"You know.. Everything is not technically over. I'm sure there's more we have to go through, but.." He stopped in his pace, forcing you to stop as well as your arm were still connected to his, and stared at you. "Are you still going to find your mother? I know how important that is to you." He remembered.
You giggled. "Of course I want to find my mother. There's so much things I want to ask her." Rimuru could see the stars that glowed within your eyes as you answered. "And plus I have to introduce her to my husband." You side eyed the man with a smirk as you watched his face grew red.

"R-Right. Your husband."
"Other than that, I'd like to tell her about everything that happened."
"Even so," He silenced himself for a bit. Should he asked you? He knew just how sensitive you would get, especially after telling him your traumatic back story. But he was rather curious at the same time. "Do you think you'd be able to forgive her?" And in that point, Rimuru noticed the change in the atmosphere as your body stiffen at his question.
"Maybe I'll have an answer for that in another time." You threw on a smile. Rimuru knew how fake that smile was, but reciprocated his own as well as you both continued walking. "For now, let's carry on! I'll like to meet everyone else. I'm so excited to see them." Maybe it was best to not ask that question again.

Harmony is shattered and a tyrannical goddess begins to muster her full might in a crusade against anyone who will not bow. They cannot weather the coming storm alone. A deal must be struck.Luneil was born a monster. Can Bas become one?No matter what, Era will never be the same. This is the story of how a deathtrap becomes a haven, and how a good man becomes a killer. This story is eventually intended for publishing via Amazon, however, you have my word it will be left up for at least five weeks from the time it is completed (at which point I might be posting the second installment on here), so you don't need to worry about it disappearing overnight. Also, bear in mind that this is all a first draft before any significant edits. There will likely be spelling, grammar and continuity errors, I will address them as soon as I spot them or you point them out. I read every comment (and reply, time permitting). Please feel free to criticize (I suspect I have a somewhat longwinded writing style, shouting really does help :) ), and above all enjoy.

Silven isn’t too happy when he stops to consider his miraculous prison escape, a guiding voice on the air and the herd of terrifying black knights hunting him down and realises he may be important. Equally, he’s not going to be too happy when he learns he’s nothing more than a character in a video game in chapter 3.8. There’s just no pleasing some people. But by the time of this realisation, Silven is all-powerful and all-arrogant, with a couple of game-breaking businesses under his belt. And when he finally understands he has been meddling with the very fabric of his own reality, the damage may already have been done. This fiction contains: * Approx. 4,342,213 video game tropes, mechanics and cliches * Very light levelling and business development (but no tables. Other than the one on the cover). * A rather acquired taste in dry, sarcastic humour. * 0 dragons. Why no dragons, man? Chapters will be released EVERY DAY, in order to sufficiently punish you for all the bad things you've done in life.
