《[A Promise]>R. Tempest x Reader》Chapter 48

"I'm a subordinate of the demon lord, Clayman. Of the five fingers, I am Mjurran, the ring finger."
You all: Rimuru, Yourself, Ranga, Benimaru, alongside Mjurran, Youm and Grucius, were currently in a room together, listening to what the green head woman had to say.
You stood annoyed next to Rimuru as you continued on listening to what the woman had to say.
"Carry on." Rimuru urged.
"My mission was to secretly investigate tempest. That was why I used Youm as a way to infiltrate this town."
"Youm, huh?" The man in question flinched at you piercing glare.
"I see. So even as we speak, you're reporting to Clayman." Rimuru wondered.
"No, there's no longer any connection. I'm a magician, as long as we're within the anti-magic area, I'm no different then from an average human."
"Good, you're done talking. Now can I kill her? Her voice is slowly driving me insane."
"We're not done, Y/N." Your husband sighed. "Were you the one who casted the anti-magic in here?" He questioned. "How were you going to plan on escaping?"
The woman stayed quiet at the man's question.
"You were abandoned by Clayman huh?"
"I think she deserves it." You muttered to yourself.
"Clayman, also known as the marionette master, is infamous for manipulating his subordinates. Almost as if they were dolls. To him, they are simply tools. Once they break or are no longer useful, he would throw them away." Mjurran began explaining.
"Why did you became his subordinate? There doesn't seem to be any benefit doing so." Rimuru clasped his hands together in thought as he waited for the woman to answer his question.
"If only I had known better back then as well.." You rolled your eyes as she began explaining her sap story. She spoke about originally being a witch who devoted herself to learn magic. Then, Clayman came along, knowledging her on the item that'll "give you time and a body that will never age." in return of loyalty.

"Stupid," You muttered, still annoyed that the woman before you isn't dead yet.
"And you accepted?"
Mjurran spoke about being a laughable and easy prey. Because of that, Clayman was easy to persuade the girl into giving her a craft call the 'marionette heart' which is used as a medium to turn subject into a magic born. Since then, her heart has been in Clayman's possession since she was a given a promise of freedom.
Boohoo, you didn't really care. There many ways she could've avoid being controlled by Clayman, and yet here she was. Sitting in front of you and everyone else as she revealed her not-so-sad story. All she could've said was no.
"Basically he has the right to let you live or take your life. I see." Rimuru closed his eyes in thought.
"So what you're telling us is this.." Everyone attention was on you. "You valued your own pitiful life more that you decided it was best to dawn on our people?" Mjurran stayed silent in her seat, afraid to make eye contact with your glaring ones. "And you two," You pointed at the two gray heads that was on each side of the woman. "You knew what she did, but thought it was best to keep it to yourself didn't you? You wasn't planning on telling any of us?"
"Lady.." Youm and Grucius quickly spoke.
"Y/N's right," Rimuru glared at the two.
"Boss.."
"Remain silent, Youm and Grucius." Benimaru said. "Lady Y/N and Lord Rimuru is now pending the woman's judgment."
"And Clayman.. What's the reason for him provoking us?" Your husband went back to talking to Mjurran.
"I'm not to sure." Mjurran Explained how Clayman seem to open his heart to few numbers of people. She believed that the anti-magic in tempest is a part of a plan that anticipated from the kingdom of farmus.

You mind slowly drifted off as she continued speaking.
»
This is taking forever. When is she going to die?
»
You couldn't wait any longer. The anger that was being held in your chest was ready to be released in the form of killing. And Mjurran is the person you wanted to dispose of. Even if you're not the one killing her, you'd at least hope Rimuru is the one doing so.
"I understand. Enough." You broke out of your dazed state and watched as your husband stood up from his seat.
Was he about to do what you've been hoping he'll do?
"I'm sorry, Y/N." You were confused now. Why is he saying sorry?
"Boss.." Youm muttered in fear at the punishment that Mjurran may receive.
"Mjurran. You need to die."
The biggest smile was plastered tightly on your face at Rimuru's words.
"Good."

Hi I don't know if this is satire/ironic or not, all I know is that I've been on a Total Drama kick and I spent the last half hour sending crappy Cody fanart to my friend.
