☾unavngivet - ☼
Haechan woke up alone in the little bedroom.
The feeling of Mark's warm body was still clinging on to him like he was a magnet. He blushed and hid his face into his pillow, rolling back and forth on the bed while screeching.
After getting himself together, not knowing why he reacted the way he did, he made his way back to the room he had been given from the start. His bags were there and he got dressed, walking downstairs after.
No one was in the living room when he made it down the stairs, so he wandered further into the house, eventually stumbling upon the kitchen where he found Mark, Chenle, and Jisung seated. Chenle was the first to notice Haechan, and his face immediately lit up and he made his way towards the tanned male.
"Good Morning, Haechan," he greeted. "I'm sorry for yesterday. We never really got to meet probably. My name is Chenle and it's a pleasure to meet you," he said and gave Haechan a hug which the latter gladly accepted.
"I know who you are," the brunette giggled.
Chenle raised an eyebrow. "Wha-"
"He knows everything that's ever happened to Mark, Chenle, have you already forgotten," Jisung sighed as he and Mark appeared behind Chenle. "He knows everything about you that Mark knows," the tall boy turned to Haechan. "I'm Jisung by the way, but you know that too."
Haechan smiled and nodded shyly.
"Wait a moment," Chenle mumbled as he froze, the tip of his ears turning red. "If Haechan knows everything Mark has ever experienced. Does that mean he knows about the pancake day?"
Haechan grinned mischievously. "The day you ate so many pancakes that you threw up on Mark's new hoodie?" he asked. "Mark ranted about it to his parents for hours when he came home. It was pretty funny."
Chenle widened his eyes and turned to Mark. "You did?!" he asked furiously. "We agreed to keep it a secre-"
"This is so freaky."
Jeno came into the room, interrupting Chenle. He smiled at Haechan and went up to him. "Consider us your friends. We'll help you figure out what you are," the older guy promised, but Haechan had no intention in giving him any form of an answer.

He didn't like Jeno, it was pretty clear. Mark's words from that one day just wouldn't leave his mind.
"Did you feel love?"
"Yes."
As far as Haechan could figure out by putting the pieces together, Mark liked Jeno, and it felt so wrong, so wrong that the feeling always hid behind his eyelids, ready to pour out any second. But Haechan didn't let himself cry so easily. He knew better than to let his weak part show out too much.
So with all his burning jealousy, Haechan eyed Jeno up and down with disgust, quickly changing his gaze from Jeno to the others. It caused the latter to frown, a little hurt as he didn't know why Haechan apparently didn't like him. The others noticed too and to brighten up the mood, Chenle told them what he had planned for the day.
"Do you remember that apple farm a little up the hill?" he asked and earned an excited shriek from Jisung.
"Are we going there," the youngest asked and both Mark and Jeno's eyes lit up.
"It was my intention. Renjun came up with the idea yesterday and I thought you guys would like to go there again," Chenle told them and by the looks of the faces of the others, he figured out they probably wanted to go. "Renjun and Jaemin had some things to discuss so they went ahead about half an hour ago."
"Let's go then," Mark said and went over next to Haechan.
They were about to leave until Jeno interrupted them.
"Sunscreen, guys!"
☾ ☼
Mark squeezed the tube and made a little poop of sunscreen on his left hand. He went over to Haechan who sat patiently on a barstool in the kitchen.
"What's that?" the younger asked and pointed at the white creme on Mark's hand.
"It's sunscreen," Mark said and smudged some of it onto Haechan's cheeks. "It protects your skin from burns and damage that the sun can cause."
Haechan scrunched his face as Mark started rubbing it over the bridge of his nose. "It's cold," he whined.
Mark chuckled and took some more, smudging it onto the younger's forehead. "Done!" he said as he finished rubbing the sunscreen into Haechan's skin.
The younger grinned cutely.
"Mark! Haechan! Are you two coming?" Jisung yelled from the entrance.

Haechan jumped down from the stool and took Mark's hand into his, excitedly running over to the entrance and out of the front door. Jisung widened his eyes as the two rushed past him, almost pushing him into a big green vase. Chenle and Jeno were already outside and as Jisung left as the last one, the five made their way to the apple farm.
It lied a little away on top of a hill, and to get there they needed to walk for some time.
Jeno's heart was heavy the entire walk. He hadn't spoken to Renjun or Jaemin at all since they arrived yesterday, and he honestly had no plan on doing so. He just wanted everything to be like it used to be. He wanted to be able to cuddle and laugh with the two without feeling anything other than happiness.
But sadly, everything had gotten to the point where just a little glimpse at one of them would make him feel as if a rock was crushing him to ashes. He loves them too much, and he knows they'll never love him back.
☾ ☼
They eventually reached the apple farm where Jaemin and Renjun stood by the front, speaking with the farmer's son, Taehyung.
Taehyung showed them around proudly, letting them taste the different apples and a few of the berries they grew too. After the long walk around the farm in the burning sun, he gave them some lemonade and let them stay under the shades at a big oak tree, leaving them alone as he had some errands to run.
Haechan had gotten tired and Mark sacrificed his lap for the latter to rest on as they sat down at the old tree, Mark with his back up against the thick trunk.
Chenle and Jisung ran around the orchard, playing some kind of tag, Mark guessed. Jeno had gone home, saying he felt sick, and Renjun and Jaemin were nowhere to be found.
Mark frowned and diverted his gaze towards Haechan. He wondered why Jeno wasn't clinging on to Jaemin and giggling and whispering with Renjun like he used to. He caressed Haechan's soft melanin skin and let the thought fly away.
☾ ☼
Jeno got out of his bed in a quick manner. It was really late at this point and the others had gotten home from the farm a few hours ago. Jisung had checked on him, but Jeno just said he didn't feel that well and that he wanted some quiet, and they hadn't bothered him since.
It was partly true.
He felt like absolute shit, just not in a sick way.
But right now, in this very moment, Jeno said fuck it all. He wanted to speak with Jaemin and Renjun. He wanted to get his feelings off his chest and nothing was going to stop him, not even the fact that it was really late and the two were most likely sleeping. So with fast and determined steps, he made his way towards Renjun's room as it was closest to his own.
But it was as if everything just stopped when he reached the door that was half opened, giving him a perfect view at what was happening inside.
"I love you a lot, nana."
It didn't hurt him to see the two he loves kissing, what hurt him was the fact that he wasn't a part of it.
And as fast as his little glimpse of confidence had appeared, it vanished like a mirage in the desert. His cracking heart was finally broken by his own lasting hope that he could finally be loved, and his feet just ran, ran because that's what you do to avoid your fear.
But if he had stayed just a second longer, everything would've turned out differently, but he didn't.
"I love you too, Renjun," Jaemin smiled and cuddled himself into the older's arm. "But I also love Jeno a lot."
"I know that," Renjun whispered.
Jaemin frowned. "I was thinking of telling him. Would you be okay with that?"
Renjun tensed but once he met Jaemin's shining eyes, he knew whatever he said couldn't affect what Jaemin had decided. "If telling him you love him will make you happy, then it's okay for me," he paused.
"But can you wait a few days? If he likes you back, it'll complicate things a lot, and I want to enjoy having you as a boyfriend and Jeno as a friend for a little longer."
☾ ☼

In the realm of Yggdrasil, there exist nine worlds. Each and every world has unique stories to tell, but there was one that stood out--The Floating World of Speir. In the land of Speir, the impossible does not exist; this world has given birth to thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of tales, fables, and legends. The fight for the fate of the world is a common occurrence and the neverending stories of the people which reside in it were all, by itself, always unique and interesting. Now, after many aeons have passed, the world has changed. Not only the power of magic could shape reality, technology also has the ability to change the world with just a thought. And from the world where futuristic technology meets magic, I have chosen to tell you a story, a story picked from countless others. This is the story of a boy who recently entered the prestigious, and the most powerful academy in all of the nine worlds--Yggdrasil Academy, to fufill his dream. What is his dream, you might ask. Well, allow me to show you the life of Reynard Foxtale, one of The Children of The Sky. *Warning. For those who don't like lengthy explanations or long talks, this might not suit your taste. However, the setting of my story does not adhere to most of the main stream fantasy/sci-fi settings. So, you might find my ideas unique or a little too weird and complicated or both. Whatever opinions you might have, I truly thank all of you who are willing to spend your time to read my story. *The cover (which is a picture I do not own) is not in any way an accurate depiction of the world in the story. P/S I will post this story on FictionPress as well. P/P/S I'm relatively new to this website, so if I made any obvious (to regulars) mistakes, please tell me. P/P/P/S Will update every two weeks. *Important: In Hiatus for now. **13/7/2017 Update. Check chapter nine (and maybe ten) post-chapter note.
