Mark carried the half-asleep Haechan down the ladder and over the courtyard. He placed him down at the front door, opened it, and picked the latter up again, Haechan's arms immediately wrapping themselves around his neck, his head falling onto Mark's shoulder, and legs wrapping around his waist.
Mark smiled and went up the stairs. The whole house was dark so he guessed his dad had gone to bed too. He went to his bedroom and placed down Haechan on the bed. The younger was now completely knocked out, it was to understand as it had been a tiring night.
Mark hesitated on doing it but thought it was wrong if the younger had to sleep fully dressed, so he took off his boots and socks, pulled off the younger's pants, and left him in the t-shirt he was wearing. He smiled and tucked him into a blanket before undressing himself.
He gave Haechan one last look before going over to the uncomfortable mattress on the floor. He laid down and snuggled into the covers.
He felt his eyelids get heavy and his breath steadying out, and with a long sigh, he drifted off to sleep.
But before he could drift away completely, he felt a dip in the mattress behind him and soon two small hands snaked around his waist and a hot breath landed on his neck. The actions made Mark wake up a little as he realized what was happening.
He turned around and without much thought pulled Haechan closer towards him, half asleep. Haechan hugged him back and both fell asleep immediately.
And that's how they slept the entire night, squeezed together on a mattress on the floor. A mattress that was only made for one person, but let's not act like they gave any single care about that.

"Donghyuck."
"Hyuck wake up!"
Donghyuck opened his eyes and was met with a smiling face above him. "Jeongin go away! I'm trying to sleep!" the brunette spat and pushed Jeongin away. "Go bother someone else."

The younger pouted and fixed his glasses "It's urgent!" he protested and pulled Donghyuck out of the bed. "It's about ."
At the mention of the name, Donghyuck woke up immediately. "Oh no! Did he get hurt while I was sleeping?!" he screamed as tears appeared in the corner of his eyes. "Please tell me he didn't!"
Jeongin looked down. "Well... he isn't dead but he broke his arm-"
Donghyuck had already rushed out of the room and was hurrying over to Jaehyun's office.
He cussed himself out in his mind, ashamed.

"Haechan."
"Haechan wake up!"
Haechan opened his eyes and was met with a worried face above him. "M-Mark?"
Mark smiled. "Sit up," he whispered and helped the younger sit up on the mattress. "You were crying in your sleep. Is something wrong?" he asked with a tint of worry in his voice.
Haechan gulped. "I had a weird dream," he whispered and looked Mark straight in the eye. "You were mentioned and you had gotten hurt."
Mark giggled. "Don't worry," he assured. "I never get hurt. It's like a magical force is keeping me safe," he added.
"Or your guardian angel."
Mark stopped laughing. "What's with you and angels?"
"I have no idea," Haechan mumbled and looked down at his lab.
No idea...

Today they were going to the city, all five of them. Mark's dad thought it was a great way to spend the last day together before Mark and Haechan were going to the beach house.
The two boys didn't mind and Mark thought it might be a great opportunity for Haechan to remember some more.
The whole one hour ride to the city was Mark listening to his playlist with Haechan. The younger apparently really liked music and was pretty open-minded to whatever song came on shuffle. Mark thought it was extremely cute and he couldn't help but glance at Haechan with anything else than pure adoration.

His mom noticed it but didn't say anything. She only smirked satisfied to herself as she watched the two boys in the backseat from the rearview mirror in the car.
The older had found that Haechan preferred softer songs like ballads and songs with beautiful vocals. Not exactly Mark's favorite choice of music but he listened to them with the younger anyway.
Once they arrived and parked the car, they went to a playground as Minhee had begged to go to one for a few hours. The weather was perfect, warm but airy.
Mark's parents went to a coffee shop just down the road so he and Haechan were watching over his sister again. They didn't mind as they got to sit on a bench under the shades of a big oak tree where it was slightly cooler and more relaxed.
They had sat in a comfortable silence so far until Haechan started mumbling the lyrics from one of the songs they listened to in the car. And the raven-haired just listened as the tones became clearer and the muffled voice turned into the voice of an angel.
Haechan could not only act extremely well, but he could also sing Mark to the verge of tears. He was the cutest and most precious boy Mark had ever met, and his soft and graceful features always managed to capture the elder's eyes. And as Mark listened to the voice that so magnificently entered his ears, he realized it.
He really liked Haechan, more than he should, and it was so wrong, yet it felt so right.
He was supposed to help the younger remember, not let his heart get captured by Haechan's shining persona.
"You can sing," Mark smiled once Haechan finished off the song. The younger had no idea he could and was a little startled as the vocals left his mouth.
He looked down, his cheeks blooming with a pink tint before glancing over the playground again, finding Mini who played with a boy her age. "I guess I can-"
"Wait for me, Jaemin!" Mark yelled as he followed Jaemin from the roundabout and up the ladder, into the giant playground castle.
"Let's take the big slide!" Jaemin grinned and crawled up the stairs where he swung himself over the metal bars and over to the others side. Mark did the same but in a much slower and careful pace.
"But Jaemin, the big slide is scary," he whispered.
"Don't be a girl, Mark! Come on," Jaemin took his hand and climbed up the last stairs where the big slide was. "See you!" he screamed before waving goodbye to Mark and swirling into the slide.
The older watched with shaky eyes into the dark hole Jaemin just vanished into. He was scared and unknowingly started taking steps back, until he accidentally stepped outside of the castle where his little body plunged down two meters onto the sand below, landing on his arm and causing it to twist the wrong way.
Mark screamed in pain and everything seemed to stop.
"Haechan are you alright?"
The tanned boy looked from Mark to the playground and then back again, his eyes twitching. "Y-You," he stuttered. "You were hurt here."
Mark raised an eyebrow.
"You were here with s-someone named Jaemin. He-" Haechan gulped hard. "You were scared and fell d-down. You broke your arm."
The older widened his eyes. "How do you know about that?" he blurted out. "That happened when I was eight!"
"It's a part of my m-memory. I just remembered i-it."

One Piece No Go No Ken
Work discontinued and ending. Other authors are free to message me if they want to take it A synopsis serves to attract attention without lying. This is useful because it gives a first impression of the novel, and immerse even before plunging into the story. Unfortunately, it does not count as one of my specialties. This fanfic is really peculiar and I think that few people will be able to appreciate it. So instead of trying to make you salivate, then have you disappointed, it would be better for you to make your own opinion, that is if you have time on your hands. If you do not like one piece or shounen animes, then you'd better turn back, as it would be a worthless read for you. If you've made it this far and have time to spare for yet one worthless attempt at making an original one-piece fanfic, then have a good read. N.B: I do not own one Piece or Fist of the north star, the image above, or any other anime/fictional character referenced in this fiction Please do not donate on this particular fanfic!
