Like a butterfly I'm breaking through my shed.

For months I've not fed, but now I'll win the bet.

I'll recover from these feelings that haunted me for months.

Feelings that ate me up inside, while I, on the outside, didn't eat at all.

But now my time has come, now I'll stop the fall.

Like a butterfly, I'll recover and come back healthy and pretty.

No matter what my mind tells me, compliments aren't pity.
