As much as words mean to me,
you promised things you didn't mean.
Call me naive but I would rather go back in time and make the same mistakes again
Rather than believing you didn't mean a thing you said to me then.
I tried to convince myself that it was all just a lie,
words can be false, actions can be fake but a connection both of us felt that can't be inaccurate.
I can look at you but not the way you look at me,
maybe cause it makes me think numerous things,
Did I ever knew the real you?
Did you love me?
So, I believed that the connection was real
moved on with it as there are other feelings to feel.
