Maurice was watching Shae and Emma, both are depressed.
Maurice: *growls* I'm gonna do it.
Emblem: Dude, bad idea!
Darkie: They're are going to kill you!
Sun: Someone has to tell them.
Maurice walked to his older sisters who looked at him with sad eyes.
Shae: Hi Maurice, What's-*gets slapped*
Emma: Dude, what the-*gets slapped as well*
Kale: 0_0 aw sh*t!
Maurice: Woke up! I'm sick and tired of you both depressed! Think about what Zaydon and Pete would do if they saw you right now! The sisters I know don't get depressed, period! Emma, you want to avenge Pete right? Then stop crying and start training! Shae, you have a daughter and still have Mari so woke up! Adam's death hit me very hard which was the reason I stopped talking but I realize that depression is...well I don't know. Look stop begging sad. You're the toughest siblings I know and grateful to have you as my siblings.. Heck between us, I'm weakest!
Emma: Dude, that not true.
Maurice: It is! Shae, you made a promise to Zaydon, remember?
Shae: Yeah!
Maurice: Good. Now stopped acting like babies and continue what your husband/boyfriend love about you! GET UP! *deep breathes*
Emma and Shae got up and ruffled his dreads, making him pout.
Emma: Thanks lit' bro.
Shae: We needed that.
Emily: Well, sh*t.
Shay: How in the living f*cking h*ll does he knows this?! He's not even dating!

What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.

The story is heavily inspired by dnd style fantasy but it isn't a true litrpg. There are progression fantasy elements where characters grow in power of time. But they can't see their character sheets or assign points to attributes or classes. The story is survival focused. All the characters will struggle to grow and none will become OP. But their different backgrounds will enable them to gain a role in life that will allow them to thrive within reasonable limits.

A beast which cultivates to the level of forming a shard is called a Magical Beast. A human or other being that does is known as a Mystic. A shard may be a Mage Shard, allowing one to use mana to attack with the elements and produce fantastical, reality bending spells. A shard may also be a Warrior shard, channeling elemental and mana power into one’s physical form, shaped into projectiles, or various other uses; or it can be a Immortal Shard, with the abilities of a Warrior and Mage shard both, and others besides. Anyone who forms an Immortal Shard has the potential to shock the vast planes of reality! In the eternal struggle between the living, who will gain advantage, and for how long? Who will live and who will die? Who will protect and guide the commoners, and fight rogue Mystics and Beasts? Into this world, a child with a potential beyond his wildest imaginations is born. But on the journey of cultivation, there are no guarantees! Will he reach his fated glory, or will he die an ignoble death?
