Chapter 6: Is This What They Mean Being OP? And It Seems I Have Gained A Vampire Daughter?!

"Yukiyo-san, Shen-san the guildmaster wants to see you"

"Oh?"

"I expected this"

Shen and I made our way up to the stairs with the receptionist who registered us and well the atmosphere was pretty tense. I wanted to put my hands behind my head and start walking like a dude but Shen looked at me with a stern look in her eye and I chose not to. The receptionist opened the door with us going inside easily, what I saw was a child sitting inside of a luxurious chair with folded hands.

"Oi where's the guild master?"

"There are times where I praise your perception Yukiyo and times I wish I could slap the back of your head with my tail"

"Eh?!I did nothing wrong though?!"

"Look closer"

"Hmm?"

The child was wearing the uniform of the receptionists however hers was red, she had a light tan and blonde hair as well. What made her even more beautiful was her blue eyes which had a green lining around her iris, then I checked her ears which were pointed, wait could this mean she is an elf?!No with that size there is only one thing she can be, a halfling. Nothing else, only that race can maintain their child like appearance.

"Take a seat both of you"

"Ah yes"

Now that I am closer to her I can see some liquid dripping from her chin and an empty wooden jug, ah she must've spat up the ale she was drinking from hearing our levels and ordered us to come here.

"I have to say that I am very much honored to have such god like beings such as yourselves register at the guild. Roughly speaking I would be too afraid to fight against beings such as yourselves. I shall introduce myself, my name is Rem Jacklin pleased to meet the both of you*"

I didn't ask what is the normal level limit of this world, might as well ask right now.

"What is the standard level limit of the world?"

"Well, in terms of speaking the Hero is usually level 200, the Demon King about 280. The strongest people in the world are normally within the hundred tier mark. The only exception to that are limit breakers who break the level limit and ascend to greater heights which I presume are you two. I do not know where you come from or what your intentions are but I have to request you as the guild master to help us out when the time comes"

"Certainly"

"If it increases my level then I will gladly accept."

"There are two quests I actually want you to complete"

"The first one is a request to kill or subdue a rampaging golem which estimated to be level 300."

An immediate shock ran on the guild master's face, but she quickly regained her composure.

"I see, even your beasts are abnormal. Well then the next one is quite easy, after defeating the Demon King the Hero has gone into a power trip and has been attacking and conquering the nations beside his own for the 'good of humanity', effectively speaking we had no one to go against his madness"

"Until now that is"

"Yes, I request you defeat the hero and return peace to the world that is all."

"You said his level is 200?"

"Yes but it should have been added on twenty or thirty times"

"It will be a walk in the park then, may you play show us the location of the Hero's capital?"

"Right here"

"In the Weissvalt Kingdom huh?"

"You know this place?"

"I've heard about it, but I never guessed that a hero would be born there. It is a terrible human supremacist kingdom"

"Uwah, we are already jumping to endgame events already?That's to be expected but...isn't this too fast?!"

"When you have strength the public will force you to use it, that is what I was told by a dragon"

"As for the golem, it's in the next territory right here"

Both Shen and Rem said this with half closed eyes, hmm maybe they are right.

"We'll start with the idiot Hero. Shen is it possible for you to transform once we are out of range of the city?"

"You insult my intelligence, of course it is"

"Transform?Wait.....you are actually not a dragonborn?!But an actual dragon?!"

"Heh"

"Shen is strong you know?"

We exited the guild master's office and began to head downstairs, but as soon as I reached the ground floor several arrows were fired at me. Uwah how dangerous, I merely grabbed the arrows in quick succession and added them to my own quiver. I went to the receptionist who led us up to the guild master's office.

"I've received some quests from the guild master, I would like to postpone only one of them."

"That is alright, which one do you wish to post pone"

"The rampaging golem one"

"Understood, we'll keep the quest reserved for you alone"

"Thank you"

I smiled at her which caused her to blush all while I was catching a bunch of arrows with my free hand. I sighed as I looked around to spot where such a malicious person is. Then I found her!And she is an elf!GLORY BE TO LYTHALIA!!She was a little petite for an elf but then again most elves I have seen for the large reminder of my previous lives were thicc, and curvy. This was an elf who wore green leaf like clothes that one would expect Robin Hood to wear, even with the hood as well. Almost half of her quiver was gone, preferably because she was shooting at yours truly. She had blonde hair (as expected) which was tied into twin tails and powerful blue eyes with a scowl on her face. Why didn't the guild members stop her?

"What is a demon such as yourself doing here?"

"Uh you talking to me shorty?"

"I AM NOT SHORT!!"

Ah I stepped on a landmine, my bad little elf-chan.

"Why is a being such as yourself here?!Are you planning to causing a maelstrom of chaos and destr-"

"I think that is enough Ellen. She is obviously different from other dark elves you have encountered in your life, by other dark elves I mean that one dark elf"

The forest elf Ellen got hand chopped on the head by a much taller and handsome blue haired youth in red armor who had a stiff smile on his face.

"I am truly sorry about that, Ellen is a bit of a short fuse at times. The name's Alex Duncan I hope all of this didn't inconvenience you in any way"

"I actually gained more arrows to use now"

"Give them back"

"No until you call me Yukiyo-sama"

"This little short tempered elf is Ellen Jones, a ranger."

"You don't need to introduce me"

"The name's Shinohara Yukiyo nice to meet ya"

"I am Shen be honored that you are in my presence"

"A dragonborn as a partner as well?You are certainly a mysterious dark elf"

"I got two Fenrirs outside, wanna see?"

"I would rather not. Uh as an apology how about we help in the quest you postponed"

"Sure."

"Great then, and Ellen what do you say?"

"grrrr....I am sorry for giving you problems"

"It's A Okay, as long as the other party is a cute elf then I will have no problems"

"Stop fooling around we have got a quest to complete"

"Indeed, I'll see you guys later"

We left the guild hall after giving Ellen several of my own special made arrows. She'll enjoy them a bunch. Geri and Freki who had become a tourist attraction spot suddenly woke up.

"Did it go well Kaa-chan?"

"Yes it did. Me and Shen are going to be out on a quest, I would like the two of you to stay with Mona-chan and her mom Risa-chan."

"Understood"

"As you wish"

The wolves began to made their way to the mansion of the Marquis, it was just me and Shen now. Well then I guess this will be quite the trip. We arrived in the deeper parts of the forest which made me calmer than usual, I did sense several beings behind me. It must've been that elf and the blue haired guy, well then I am sure they are in for a surprise.

"Shen this place seems good enough"

"Indeed"

"Let's go murder a hero"

Shen began to shine as she reverted to her old form, for some reason it was just as magnificent as the first time.

"You're as beautiful as the first day I met you"

"If you have enough time to be spouting nonsense then climb on"

"Ah right."

I leapt unto Shen's back as she began to fly away into the sky, I swear I could hear the surprised voice of Ellen somewhere in the rushing wind but I am plenty sure she'll tell no one.

☆ The Hero's POV

Humans are certainly the most powerful race in the world, conquering all the lands and populating them. The only thing that comes between the humans and total population dominance is the demi-humans and monsters that live within the world, certainly a sad predicament. The world was threatened by the existence of the Demon King but they sent a hero, not a beast-kin hero nor a dwarf hero nor a elven hero or any monster species but a human hero. Only he defeated the Demon King and he had every right to dictate what mankind should do or not as such he killed his own king and appointed himself as the new king, invading close territories and making them bow to the power of the humans. He made harems of women he took from those he saw fit and made his rule secure, no one would be able to defeat him. He, Fredrick had set his sights on nations that inhabited demihumans and allowed them to have the same rights as humans. He was angered by this and planned to have his way with the royalty of such vile nations.

"YOUR MAJESTY!"

"Yes what is the matter?"

"A dragon is headed our way!!"

"Hmm?A dragon?"

"Yes it is going to arrive here at an-"

The knight was unable to finish his sentence as the throne room's walls shattered in the midst of the conversation. The women beside Fredrick screamed and ran away, he immediately stood up taking his sword into his hand as the tail of a dragon had just destroyed the walls. Soon a great light came from out of nowhere as two figures jumped in through.

"......"

He was forced to recognize the awesome power of the two, the first was a dragon in human form, the other was a dark elf who was even more dangerous than the dragon. He could feel it in his soul, she was a person who had the potential to being the next Demon King. She smiled at him with a vicious grin that prompted him to attack her first.

"Shen let me handle this, I believe you've always wanted to wreck the city?"

"Yes, I've already teleported the people to a safe location."

Shen leaps back to the outside transforming back into her original form roaring as she did so. This was my cue to attack this idiot Hero, he came at me with a lot of determination. Let's appraise his current level.

He tried to appraise me back but I had promptly blocked him, this was the first time I was fighting a human before. I only fought monsters and beasts before, well then let's see how we- hmm?Isn't this guy far too slow?I noticed something strange about his speed and briskly walked past him kicked his butt a bit causing him to crash into a wall. Huh?What the hell is happening?

"Damned demihuman"

"Yeah yeah shout curses all you want"

"I will certainly make you squeal like a pig tonight."

"Lol you sound like a virgin who had his time at a brothel and requests the prostitutes there to act like animals or something like that!"

He took a lot of damage from me lightly kicking him, well then let's play with this idiot hero. I activated Marchosias and sprinted at the hero who was still shouting at me. I already arrived at where he was and gave him one good uppercut which sent him flying.

『HP: 6,100! -490 Damage!』

Before he could even hit the ceiling I had already leapt up there to land one kick that sent him crashing into several floors below.

『HP: 5,311 -789 Damage! 』

He crashed into his own statue using his own sword to stand up and looked at me with a hateful gaze, sorry but when I fought monsters I didn't hold back. Freddy boy here sent a mass of flame spears at me in an attempt to make me distracted so he could throw some liquid at me, well too bad I could see that. I stood where I was and shot down the flame spears before shooting the glass potion flask in his right hand that immediately exploded. He screamed in pain as his hand was covered in what seemed to be acid, are you even a hero if you are trying to do such underhanded tactics?

『HP: 4,855, -456 Damage!』

"Hey I can let you off the hook if you just give up"

"Why should I give up against an evil like you?!I AM THE HUMAN HERO!!I WILL RULE OVER ALL HUMANS AND EXTERMINATE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH KNOWN AS THE DEMIHUMANS AND MAKE YOU KNOW YOUR PLACE!!"

"Geez it's always guys like these that really tick me off. Alright then, I will beat you senseless and leave you so battered up that your racism will take a dirt nap"

I had already arrived before he got the chance to finish his sentence and already landed a punch on his stomach, which sent him flying but I wasn't done yet, I shot several arrows into this body that all exploded in the precise moment that he hit the wall. I dodged the daggers that he had thrown at me with his clothes half burnt, I smiled as he tried to catch up with me with his pathetic agility but was obviously unable to do that. I leapt frontwards before his sword could even touch me grabbing his burnt coat collar throwing him in a ridiculous way that made me laugh a little. This was no time to be chuckling to myself as I moved forward and grabbed his body taking the potion that he was about to use me the last time, this was rather easy as I threw him a short distance into the air along with the potion flask that I shot using an arrow which went directly into his face. He dropped onto the ground screaming annoyingly.

"Oh shut up already its just a face scar"

Actually I could see the outline of his skull, sorry I said that inappropriate joke.

"ugaaaaaaaaah..."

He groaned from all the beat down that I done on him well, let's just think of him as a human monster. I poured some potion on him that recovered a small amount of HP, it rose to 300 and restored his beautiful face.

"I concede.....please spare me"

"I am not sure I am going to do that, I mean you're a big threat even greater than the Demon King."

"W-What are you going to do to me?"

"Heh, I've always wanted an ikemen punching bag"

I smiled as I began to punch his beautiful face to a bloody pulp.

I sighed as I used magic to wash my hands from his blood and felt relieved the world had one less douchebag. Alright now let's take a look outside, ah.......Shen has utterly destroyed the capital. She was enjoying herself, nothing was left except ash and ice fragments. I exited the castle and looked back at it and decided to use one of my spells that was used to destroy large buildings such as these.

"【Palace Eating Snake】"

The castle was immediately destroyed by a large flame covered serpent that swallowed it whole destroying everything inside of it. I nodded as I spotted Shen beaming.

"The most fun I have had in years"

"I am glad that you felt like that, let's go back"

It is said that the Weissvalt kingdom fell because of the strength of a guild operative who had a dragon, the whole world was searching for such a person but their identity was kept a secret. The Hero was terrorizing the nearby nations had been killed by such a person shrouded in complete mystery.

We arrived back at the city of Melbour right before the sun was about to set, of course Shen had transformed back into her human form and was really happy. How would I know this?Because her tail was wagging side to side rapidly and she only did this when she either ate new food, defeated a monster leveling up in the process or when I generally praised her resourcefulness. We still had the rampaging golem quest to do, so we had to hurry back to the adventurer's guild taking Geri and Freki along the way who now stood at the sides like real guard dogs erm I mean wolves. We entered and everyone staring at us again then Alex came on by.

"Already finished?"

"Yes"

"You're quick but I bet with your strength you can even move mountains"

"I can, want me to do it?"

"Hahahahaha that's impossible....hmm you're serious"

"Indeed"

"Grrrrrr...."

Ellen looked at the both of us viciously and hid behind Alex, she was on guard like a small dog that didn't trust anyone except its master. I almost wanted to put some dog ears in her hair to see the reaction, anyhow I submitted my report to the receptionist who screamed in surprise albeit in silence which requires a certain level of skill. This time the guild master was there with tired eyes and merely waved her hand in reply to me finishing the next quest whilst Shen was teasing Ellen for being short.

"Heh you certainly are as short tempered as you are weak short stuff"

"I am not short!And I am not weak!"

"From where I am standing you are plenty weak."

"....."

"Shen stop bullying the elf already"

"With my type of strength I can topple nations you know?"

"I know that, but you trying your best to hold back is plenty cute as well"

"Wha-?!"

"Hey Alex"

"Yeah?"

"Its time for that quest now"

"Already?"
