Skylar's P.O.V

'TRAINING?!' Both me and Sasha yell in confusion.

'Yes training' Grime confirms. 'Now get appropriately dressed and join me in the courtyard' Grime orders before leaving the room, not failing to slam the door on his way out.

'Dressed appropriately? We only have one outfit!' Sasha complains.

'That's where I come in Lasses' a loud, one handed, one footed toad with a long, blond moustache and a Viking hat comes in.

'I swear to frog if that guys name is Gobber-'

'The names Gobber the Squelch and I'm the tower's blacksmith, I'll be fitting you two with your armour'

'You've gotta be kidding me, first bob the builder now this!?'

'What makes you think I'm kidding about anything Lass?' The intimidating toad asks.

'N-nothing' I give an embarrassed smile, realising that I had said that out loud. 'I have really got to stop saying my thoughts out loud' I make a mental note.

'You even said that out loud' Sasha comments. 'C'mon Sky' she orders as she follows the toad out of the room.

'Fine'

'That's a lot of weapons' I stand in awe of the armoury in front of me.

'Sure is, and all of them were made by yours truly, but we ain't here for weapons we're here to get you two some armour and with how weak you two look I think you'll need it'

'HEY! WE'RE NOT WEAK!' Me and Sasha claim.

'Ok I admit that Skylar might be a bit out of shape but I'm definitely not weak' Sasha adds on.

'Really' I deadpan, giving Sasha a death glare. She just smirks at me in response.

'Alrighty then, this way lasses' Gobber orders and continues further into the armoury.

'Now this looks pretty cool' I chuckle as I spin around in front of the mirror. My armour was practically the same as Sasha's except my cloak was a little different, it covering my face a little more.

'It's not designed to 'look cool' it's designed to be practical for combat' Gobber explains.

'Whatever party popper' Sasha groans. 'So do we get weapons or not?'

'Weapons are only for those who know how to use them, so...... no. Now you two better head to the courtyard before Grime gets grumpy'

'More grumpy than usual you mean' Sasha comments. Gobber just glares at Sasha which makes me chuckle. 'Fine, fine we're going, we're going. C'mon Sky'

'Thanks Gobber' I smile and wave at the Viking toad.

'There you are' Grime says to Sasha. 'Wait, where's Skylar?'

'She has to use the bathroom' Sasha explains.

Grime and Sasha wait in the courtyard for a good 15 minutes until I finally show up.

'Sorry I'm late' I smile at the two.

'How is it that without a fail you are ALWAYS 15 minutes late to everything?' Sasha yells at me. I just sheepishly smile and scratch the back of my head.

'Never mind that, it's time to start the lesson, first we are going to learn about stance'

'BORING!' Sasha groans, interrupting Grime.

'You think this is boring do you' Grime growls at the two of us. I take a sidestep away from Sasha and do a little whistle.

'Yeah I think your lesson's boring, we don't need dumb lessons in stance, I bet that I could beat half the toads in this tower' Sasha confidently claims.

'Sash I don't think that's a good idea-'

'Very well, let's put that to the test, catch' Grime throws Sasha a sword. 'Let's see how good of a fighter you really are' 'TOADS OF TOAD TOWER, I CHALLENGE YOU ALL TO FIGHT YOUR COMMANDER AND SEE IF SHE'S WORTH TAKING ORDERS FROM!' Grime calls out to the tower. After that announcement a large number of toads began to gather around Sasha. I can't just stand there and let her fight them alone so I go to stand by her but are stoped by Grime. 'No, she needs to do this alone and learn to keep that big mouth of hers shut' Grime growls. I just start getting more nervous as all I can do is watch.

'BEGIN!'

In that moment a few toads start charging at Sasha, weapons and all. Sasha readies her sword and prepared for the attack. She blocked the first toad's weapon with ease and did the same for the others. Surprisingly, she was doing remarkably well, I knew that my sister was strong but this was generally impressive. Although she was doing well she was still outnumbered and I could see her movements getting slightly slower as time went on.

Sasha has her sword interlocked with an opposing toad's sword and she's using all her strength to hold him at bay. She clearly doesn't notice the other toad coming from behind her, weapon drawn and ready to attack.

My body moved before my mind could give the order. I picked up a discarded shield from the ground and ran to the centre of the battle. I jumped behind Sasha and countered the attack from the toad, using all my strength to push them back.

'Skylar! What are you doing?!' Sasha yells at me, her focus still on the toad in front of her.

'Saving your ass!' I grunt as I block another attack. I sweep the leg of one of the toads and he falls backwards. I don't think I've ever felt this powerful before, something about standing here and fighting beside Sasha was exhilarating.

Sasha's P.O.V

I take a quick glance at Skylar and see her successfully blocking every attack that came her way. For a split second I could have sworn that her eyes were, no that couldn't be right, her eyes were...

Skylar's P.O.V

I knocked out the last toad with my shield and turned to Sasha who looked extremely tired, I on the other hand felt fine.

'That all you got' Sasha cockily asks Grime, still completely out of breath.

Grime scoffs at her comment and approaches the two of us. 'I suppose you two don't need basic training after all' he claims as he continues past us. 'But Skylar, sweep the leg isn't a thing is sword fighting'

After me and Sasha had washed up and we're back in our room I noticed that Sasha seemed off.

'Sash what's wrong?' I ask, worried that she might have hurt herself. 'Are you hurt from the fight? What's going on?' I continue.

'No no, I'm fine it's just-' she stops herself from going any further.

I walk over and sit next to her I put my hand on her shoulder which she just knocks away.

'Sasha' I sternly say.

'It's just that I'm usually the one protecting you, but seeing you fight out there... You were protecting me more than I was you'

'That's ridiculous' I chuckle 'I'm always going to need you Sash and I'm always going to be here if you need me' I comfort. 'We're sisters, and sure we may disagree about a lot of things but I still love you and I know you love me' 'I'm not protecting you and your not protecting me, we're protecting each other'

'Your such a dork, you know that right?' Sasha laughs.

'Yeah I know' I chuckle.
