I entered into the elevator and waited to reach to my floor.

It had been three days since Sia had rejoin the company. And I hate to admit that she's doing great.

There had been improvements since she started to work. Earlier, this place use to suck. Every table was a mess, highly unorganized. Sometimes even they mix up 2 entirely different documents together and it took more than 3 hours to separate them.

My table was also the same. It was not the working table, it was pool of papers. I remember that day when I looked for the documents in the entire office for one whole day, and it was found under the table.

Sia usually leave for office with the driver earlier than me and she leaves for home with him. I had instructed the driver not to stop anywhere except home and keep an eye on her. But she is coperating for now.

The door of lift opened on my floor and I walked towards my office.

I started to hear good morning greetings from my staff, I wished them back in general, but my eyes were looking for her.

She was nowhere to be seen.

Where is she?

My mind was thinking about her when something hit me on my chest and my reflexes hold it.

It was Sia.

She was in my arms and her eyes were closed as she was expected to fall. She was wearing a lavender colored top with fone color pant.

She opened her eyes and then I saw that she have dark black eyes and somewhat slim nose and lips that are just so kiss....

Stop that thought right there Ashar!! Shit

I dropped her on the floor and passed over her towards my seat

"Ouch"she was rubbing her back.

I smirked and ignored her.

She came towards my table

"What was that?" She was angry

"That was me throwing all the evil out of my life" I said sarcastically

She rolled her eyes. Definitely trying not to respond me.

"What's my schedule for today" I asked looking at computer screen.

"Its already on your table" she said.

I watched her from the corner of my eye, she stood there with folded arms.

I looked at the schedule. So far so good.

She faked a smile and left.

I was reviewing quarterly reports of the company when she interrupted me

"Mr. Ashar. There is a problem"

I saw her. She was standing at my door

"Yup I know that and she is standing right at the door"

"Its the bigger one" she said.

No sarcastic reply or taunting???

Its serious then

"What is it?" I asked

"Mr. Rowan wants to meet you." She said

"I don't see any problem there. Schedule him " and I started to work.

"He is coming today"

"Who the hell he is to dictate me. Tell him I wont meet him today at all"

She closed her eyes to gain power

"You dont understand. He is one of our biggest client. And he is coming to cancel the contract."

"Why?" I asked

"Some technical faults in the product. He is shouting on us for like 4 months" she said

I looked at her.

"Who was dealing with him?"

"Your father".

And he called me useless..

"Oh. And his smarty pants assistant did nothing? What about your so-called love for the company?"

She was quite for a moment and then again started to talk

"Actually, Mr. Nicholson was trying to make an alternate product specifically designed for Mr. Rowan. It is now ready, but I dont know if he'll buy it"

"Finally there is something you dont know."

She crossed her arms and said:

"Mr. Ashar, do you really wanna do this?" She shifted her weight from one foot to other.

I smirked "I never ever wanted to do anything with you"

She released a sigh

"Forget it. I will ask Mr. Jones to brief you about that product. " With that she left.

We dont see each other at home. I mostly goes late and by that time she is in her room. Samantha updates me about her.

Jones came after few minutes to brief me about the problems of the device and what the alternate device can do.

Mr. Rowan came and he was really pissed off about the whole thing.

"I apologise for the problems caused because of us. But, I assure you this will compensate all the loses" and I showed him the new equipment.

Sia was sitting on the opposite side taking minutes. I looked at her during the presentation and I learned that she bite nails when she's nervous or thinking

"I am impressed by this Mr. Ashar and what I really appreciate that you are personally dealing with it. I am really grateful.

But our board of directors have some serious concerns regarding it."

"They are always welcome here Mr. Rowan. I am sure my team will give them best of the presentation that will change their mind".

He thought for a moment and said

"We are having 50 anniversary celebration of our hotel in Toronto. Why don't you join us there Mr. Ashar. There I can arrange your meeting with them"

I thought for a moment

I need this break from her. Eddy will look after Sia.

"Ms. Sia, you are too invited ok." He said to her and she smiled.

"That is so kind of you Mr. Rowan"

Whatever. I am not going with her anywhere.

In the end, we shook hands and I asked Sia to escort him to his car.

"I always wanted to meet that beautiful voice with whom I use to talk on phone. I wondered how she looks" I heard Rowan saying to Sia as they started to walk away.

"I hope I haven't disappointed you"

She is flirting now... Bloody hell.

I went back to my cabin and looked through the camera and find them in lobby.

He was holding her hands, both were smiling, he gave his card to her and they hugged.

Lets see what answers she have now about this

Before I call her, she came into my room

"Any more problems Ms. Sia ?" I asked

"I just came to say that you were great. You literally proved yourself there"

She is praising me?

These words.. ah I wish dad would have said those.

I looked at her. I dont know whether she was serious or its another sarcastic comment

But it looked serious

"Thanks. By the way I can see you two bonding. Cards exchange, hugs ,etc."

She laughed a little

"Why do you care for someone 'ugly' like me?"

Ya why do I care.

I dont know

"You're an employee thats why"

And my wife too.. wait no no

"That was another reason I came here to tell. He was asking me about your attitude towards staff. I said that I am happy here and you're an excellent boss. I know I'll go in hell after this big lie"

"Why is he poking nose so much" I asked

"Well, he is a difficult guy to deal with. He needs perfection in everything."

"Fine." I ignored and started to work on my computer.

"So should I book tickets for two of us?" She asked.

"There is no 'us', it's just you and me. I am going alone on this trip" I said without looking at her.

"What you mean? He had invited me too"

"It is not necessary for you to accompany me everywhere. I am already tolerating you enough. I will be going alone."

"Ok" and she left the room.

She didn't argue. That means she'll show her tantrum.

I stayed till late in office to avoid meeting Sia at home. I wish she would sleep before I come home.

It was around 9 pm when my phone rang.

It was Lawyer Burke.

"Hello Burke. How are you" I exclaimed with joy but inside I was cursing myself for answering his call.

"Why are you not taking Sia to Toronto?" He asked without any hi hello

So this was her plan

"Its a business meeting and I need someone here to look after matters here."

"Look, you married her forcefully, I kept quite. You kept your marriage secret, ok fair enough. But I cant help you anymore. You need to live a normal married life"

"Burke we are living a normal married life" I clenched my jaws now

"So take her with you and consider it your honeymoon"

"Its a business trip not a pleasure trip Burke"

"She is co-ceo of the company. she can attend meetings with you ."

"Burke you should be on my side"

"I am on your father's side. Its my duty to make sure you people meet every clause."

I'll kill you one day stupid s***

"Ok fine. I'll take her"

And I hung up.

We need to talk now ....
