《The Man who can't be moved.》Him

I love dancing. To move my body to the beat of the music to feel like nothing else matters. The day it all started was Wednesday and it was a day that I booked a dance studio for myself to work on my solo for the competition this weekend. Let me just say now that I'm only wearing dancing shorts and have no shirt. I was in the middle of my routine when I heard a loud knock. I yelled "come in" and that's when I saw him. The most gorgeous man I've ever laid my eyes on. Did I mention he was a police officer? No? Oops well let me explain. His name is David White he's 33 years old and I teach his daughters contemporary on Tuesdays. Well anyways let me get back to my story. I asked him "Do you need something sir?" He just asked me if i could turn the music down because we can hear it halfway down the hall. I did even though my music wasn't even that loud. I'd do anything to please this man. I was about to say something when his two little daughters Jessie and Jessica came busting through the door pulling on his pants leg saying their hungry. They finally took notice of me and rushed over and hugged me. They asked me "Mr.Dallas what are doing here?" I told them I was working on my solo for this weekend. They squealed and asked if I would show they right then. I could never say no to their adorable faces, so of course I said yes. They grabbed their daddy's hand and dragged him to sit against the wall with all the mirrors on it. I could feel his stares on my back as I went to plug my IPhone into the stereo. I chose the song "The Man who Can't Be Moved" by the Script. I have Jessica press play when I get to the middle of the floor kneeling down. As the words start I close my eyes and just feel the beat of the music. My dance is a combination of contemporary and jazz so there was plenty of gymnastics and various leaps across the dance floor. When it was over I had almost forgotten I had people watching me until I heard 2 pairs of little hands clapping for me. I went and hugged Jessie and Jessica and kissed them on their foreheads. I looked at David and asked "what did you think Mr. White?" He didn't respond to me instead he got up and walked over to me and grabbed either side of my face and..... kissed me. It wasn't what I expected but it held a lot more meaning then I could unfold in that moment. I grabbed the back of his neck as I felt he was about to pull away because I didn't respond. I crushed our lips harder together to show him I felt the same way he was. We didn't break apart until we heard his girls saying aweee. We pulled part and rested our foreheads together. I asked "so does that mean you liked my dance?" He just laughed and nodded his head. He asked the girls if they were ready to go they said yes and asked if they could go out to eat. Mr. White being the sucker for his daughters caved in after 2 minutes of negotiating. Each girl held on to one of his hands and was heading toward the door. But soon came to a stop as Jessie told her daddy she had to ask him something so he kneeled down to her level and she whispered something to him. I looked at Jessica to see she looked at me with a knowing look. Soon David came up to me and asked if I would like to go eat with them tonight. I looked at the girls and winked just for them to see. I said yes of course who would miss out on a "date" with a sexy cop.

Where Giants Fall
A fantasy LitRPG about traversing through worlds and slaying giants with nothing but a wooden suit and an army of treants. Nicholas Atkins didn't expect to wake up naked in the glowing woods. What he did expect was waking up to a hangover after last night's party- fortunately, that wasn't the case. Unfortunately though, he had worse problems to take care of than a headache. At first he blamed it on the alcohol; from what he recalled in Biology, glowing flowers didn't exactly exist in the realm of reality. However he was as sober as he could be, so next he blamed the drugs, but there was a problem- he didn't have the money to do drugs in the first place. When the fairies came, things became even weirder. Talks of climbing towers, magic tricks, and dinner were all on the table. Of course, dinner was the priority, but so was getting back home. However slowly, Nico realized that he might actually want to stay in this fantasy world. After all, he's had enough listening to Professor Paul's lecture on calculus- the swords and sorceries were just an added bonus. Still, staying in this new world has its own costs- and money is but one thing on that long, long list. Updated everyday except Saturday GMT+8 (Specific time varies by around 30 minutes). MANTIS: On Hiatus
Two young adults who were childhood friends are killed amidst a pandemic worse than our own. After many years apart, Rihelah was on her way to see Michael, hoping to rekindle their friendship on the day they would both lose their lives. The pair are unwittingly selected to represent Earth in a test set forth by godlike beings who are intrigued that our world gave rise to complex life without having been intentionally seeded by their kind. Michael and Rihelah are reincarnated as predatory insects upon a distant planet called Edon. Elves, Dwarves, Dragons and their kin, Goblins, Ogres, Humans, Lizardfolk, Orcs, and sapient arthropods known as Enkelyn all inhabit this beautiful world touched by magic. The tiny mantids must survive terrified and very much alone upon arrival, while neither is aware that the other has also been reincarnated upon the same island. Naked in their new chitinous exoskeletons, they must now brave the terrors of an alien world's food chain. Each will benefit from their years of experience on Earth, but they must somehow find a balance between old lives and new. Moderate mindsets and peaceful values from a mostly safe and privileged life on Earth must now contend and somehow coexist with the strange physiology of a new and unfamiliar body as well as the violent aggressiveness of a predator's mind. To top things off, the pair are about to find themselves struggling with their inner turmoil while swept up by terrible conflicts they know nothing about. Both endure the hardships of their new lives while attempting to understand and make proper use of a mysterious and terse video-game-like System that pops status notifications into their vision from time to time, but initially has no useful interface. Some of the options they are presented with sound enticing, but as with everything else in life, each choice has benefits and drawbacks... Author's Note: This story makes many changes to the original version, and readers of Mantid will find that many things in Mantis are new and different; especially after the first few chapters. I've learned a ton from writing like a madman, and also from the RR community. I appreciate you guys! :)

Wilberforce
The seven worlds have been a place of war and carnage for hundreds of years. The strong enslave the weak and take over their world just to have some extra space. A race of demi-humans takes over the priceless first world for years. The humans grow tired of living in the lower worlds and challenge the demi-humans to war. Armad is an innocent bystander from the third world whose village is engulfed by the war. He doesn't care about ambitious humans or greedy demi-humans. All he wants is to save his dying mother. Will he be left alone to cater to his mother, or will the universe be cruel enough to stand against him? *** Rpg system has no stats or leveling up (not in the traditional way), but there are numbers. MC is strong from the word go and he has a specific goal. He's also learned many skills before the beginning of the novel, so don't expect a murderhobo for levels. That being said, the mc will grow stronger and will have become so strong (not overpowered) by the end of the first book. There are many races besides humans but they are not the main focus of the story, so they will only appear when the plot involves them. This novel is dedicated to the late William Wilberforce. *** I made the cover picture from picart. Original images don't belong to me. If you are the owner and you want it removed just pm me.
