They had rushed Aziza to a nearby hospital. Currently waiting in the waiting room at the emergency section of the hospital, Nawal was sitting on the seat leaning against the wall, waiting for the doctor to give out some information.
Naushin, not knowing how to console a person in such a situation, was sitting beside her, keeping her left palm on her right shoulder and trying to sober her down. But she was also no less into tears. Though it had not been long enough meeting Aziza, she had got a storng bonding with her.
Aziza was such a happy-go lucky girl. May what ever be the situation she would face it with utmost bravery and would get through it with a smiling face.
Aadil wandering across the room, hoping to recieve a better news. He did not have great memories associated with hospitals. But wished to get news about his dear one.
Soon their wait was over, as they saw a doctor approaching them. Nawal stood soon as she saw the doctor and rushed towards her as if she was going to miss something important.
"Doctor, could you please say how Aziza is?" Nawal said as soon as she reached towards the doctor, trying to control her emotions. She didn't wanted to break infront of everyone. She literally was dying inside. But her tears said something else. They poured out all of her emotions.
"See Miss, currently she is under observation. But as much as I've noticed till now, it seems like she has got an internal injury due to glass shards. Earlier we thought she just had external bleeding but our team has gut feeling that there is something more to it. So we need to still look into the matter." The doctor explained Nawal just the partial truth. As seeing her condition anybody could say she is way too attached to Aziza and would not be able to handle the news properly. The doctor looked around and saw Aadil standing with such eagerness in him to know what's happening.
"Are you related to the patient, Mr?" She asked looking at Aadil standing few steps away from them.

"Yeah I'm her brother." He said it without any single thought. Not blood related, but their bonding was much stronger than those.
"Could you please follow me?" With that the doctor left, giving no choice to Nawal to go against it. Aadil followed him to where ever the doctor was taking him. Nawal knew something is wrong. She had the feeling it wasn't going to turn out good. She saw the hesitation in doctor's eyes, as if she was debating to tell her or not. She looked back at Aadil making fast moves towards the doctor. Doctor could have asked Naushin to come with her right? Why Aadil though? She immediately removed these thoughts from her mind. All she wanted to know was how is her sister and when she can meet her. She prayed to Allah numerous times to keep her little sister safe.

Aadil's POV
I came out from the doctor's cabin. I can't believe what the doctor said. She is a teenager! How this little girl have this? How can I tell Nawal? Oh god. I can't handle this. Imagine poor Nawal's reaction. No. I can't tell her. Not now. I have to be strong for her, for my sister. I saw Nawal walked towards me asking about Aziza's condition. I took deep breathes and kept my poker face but I can't. She is giving me weird looks on how I'm looking. I opened my mouth to say but words are not even coming. Looking at her is breaking me from the inside.
"Aadil please say what the doctors said. Is she okay? She is going to heal right?" She asked me with shaky voice and more tears falling on her face. I wanted to hug her tightly, wipe her tears and tell everything is going to be alright but I can't. I can't force something on her that comes from me only. How can I say this to Nawal? Knowing that she will not be able to handle the pain bravely? Yet for the time being I chose to be quite and ignore her queries. Nawal's pleadings are just going in vain. Confusion is clearly written on her face with fact that I'm not answering her questions. I feel that if I open my mouth, I might spill everything. So I decided not to say anything and made sure not to look her. Finally, not receiving any answer she sat again waiting patiently.

Soon a nurse came and saved me from this awkward situation I was in. The doctor just said this information to me and not to any nurses. I'm glad she did cause she can ask any other person too. The doctor said it's better if we say this information later. The nurse informed them about Aziza gaining concious. We all quickly rushed towards the ward to meet her.
☆◇☆◇☆◇☆
Aziza was lying on the bed, with tubes stuck to her veins and she had a band-aid stuck on her head. Unknown to what wrong had happened to her, she smiled seeing her small, real family standing near her bed. Looking at her face none could say she has to go through pain in her life from now onwards. Look what her 'baba' did to her! Proud filled within me by seeing this girl smiling after what she went through horrible experience. I don't even want her to know that this was her father behind the attack. Small in age, yet so mature, much better at handling stuff unlike me. I saw Nawal smiling with tears still rolling off her cheeks. I wanted to comfort her. To say it's alright babe. But I can't. I think I could never tell her about my feelings. And it's not the time to think. Family comes first. Then everyone else.
She came forward and hugged her baby sister carefully so as she would not get any pain. Alas, the case was too different for Aziza. Although Nawal can't see her face, I saw she closed her eyes and her fists closed - trying not to scream at the pain she felt. But at that moment all she did was to eat up her pain and smiled. She really is an example of brave. I didn't realize my own tears started to fall. I quickly wiped it, making sure no one saw it. When I looked back to Aziza, she had the knowing look that she saw me wiping my face but still held that smile. I smiled seeing her and at that time she said Nawal something making her leave Aziza's bed and looked at me with such intensity, I didn't knew what to do. Then I realized she made a way for me to meet her. I too hugged her lightly and said teasingly,
"Don't ever scare us again like that."
She laughed, then winced as it was hurting her to even laugh.
"Are you okay? Don't do things which are going to hurt you dear." I said quickly and saw her shaking her head.
"I'm sorry I scared everyone. See? I am all fit n fine. It sounded funny when you said, making me laugh." Then motioned me to come near to her and she whispered in my ear,
"And no worries, nobody will know that you were crying." She said with light chuckle. That made me bit embarrassed but happy at the same time. I hugged her again making her giggle. Then I realized that my employee- what was her name? Naushin. Yeah. She was waiting to see Aziza too. So I made way for her to meet and stood beside Nawal. She was still upset and irritated with the fact that I haven't told what news doctor said.
She gave a hard glare and made her way out. Enough. I cant handle this anymore. I went outside of the ward and called her to stop. But she being the stubborn one, didn't stop. I quickened my pace and grabbed her wrist, finally stopping her.
"I don't want to talk with you unless you say what's happening. Leave.Me.Alone." She said with anger radiating off her. I shook my head, saying that I won't be leaving her. I took a deep breath.
"Nawal. The doctor said that...."
