Nandini and Navya sat down. They both took a deep breath. Kabir ordered for all.

Nandini - Navya,(pointed at Randeep) Randeep uncle is your dad?

Navya - Ya, but how you know him?

Nandini - oh... Actually Dad and Randeep uncle are childhood friends. Dad have told me a lot about him. And now a few days ago, we three just signed a contract of a hotel. Dad and uncle will design and construct while Kabir will provide all the materials. He deals in it.

Navya - It means dad and Kabir knows each other already?

Kabir - If you remember, a few days ago, I left hurriedly and Nandini was also not here. She told you guys, she went home and will e back in few days. At that time, we actually signed a mutual contract of a hotel.

An hour passed,

Manish - You guys talk, Randeep and I have flight so we have to leave. I will pay the bill. Eat well. Bye.

Navya - Bye uncle. bye dad.

Nandini - Bye uncle, bye dad. have a happy journey. WE also have to go back to our friends.

Randeep and Manish left.

Nandini, Kabir and Navya also left the table and were on their way to their friends when..

Navya - So...., Ms. Nandini's full name is Ms. Nandini Ahluwalia. Daughter of Manish Ahluwalia. hmm....Great.

Navya - Alright. Stop this now.

Nandini - Yayy. That's like my bestfriend. Thank you(she kissed Navya's cheek)

Manik called Nandini and asked her to come to parking lot directly as they are done with dinner. Nandini, Navya and Kabir went to parking lot. Others were waiting near their cars. Nandini, Navya and Kabir kept a sad face to prank others.

Mukti - What happened?

Alia - Why are you guys looking sad? say, did Navya's father rejected Kabir?

Manik - Don't worry. Everything is fine. Randeep uncle had already accepted Kabir. These three are just pranking us.

Nandini, Navya & Kabir - Exactlyyyy.

Dhruv - Exactly, look at Kabir. Who could reject such son-in-law?

Navya - My father!!

Dhruv - (smile vanished and coldly) Let's go.

They all burst into laughter

They went back to campus but they were not allowed to enter at that time since it was already 11pm. They decided to sleep in cars as going to a hotel seemed to be a too late. They slept in the cars.

They all woke up at 6 am and went to their dorms.

Days kept passing peacefully. Gathering for lunches, planning outings and enjoying even the smallest things. Second year was about to come to an end.

Manik was out for his business matters for two days. Finally the third day, he was to come back. Navya, Alia, Mukti, Abhimanyu, Dhruv were having lunch. While Nandini and Kabir were attending their extra lectures.

Dhruv - hey guys, What about pranking Nandini? She loves to play pranks on us.

Alia - Good idea.

Abhimanyu - But how?

Dhruv - Let's tell her, Manik met with a small accident on his way back. And when she will rush to the parking lot. Manik would be there.

Mukti - How do you know Manik would be there, exactly at that time?

Dhruv - I just got a call from Manik, he told me his location. After calculating the time, I planned this prank.

Navya - I think this is too much. She...she...

Abhimanyu - Navya, don't talk like Kabir, please. Let's do this.

Dhruv - So, let's do this.

Nandini entered cafeteria while Kabir was still in class corridor. Dhruv noticed her and put his phone to ear. When Nandini reached to them, he got up in shock and acted to cut the call.

Nandini - What happened? Why are you behaving like this?

Alia - exactly!! Because of you, my soul just left my body.

Abhimanyu - Exactly, tell us what happened. Speak up, speak up(hit the table) I said speak up...

Mukti - (held Abhimanyu's shoulder and whispered in his ear) This is overacting.

Nandini - (to Abhimanyu)Done? Now, you speak Dhruv.

Dhruv - I just got a call from hospital, they said Manik got into an accident. There's nothing to worry as he just got some scratches.

Abhimanyu - (screamed)What!!! (Mukti pressed his shoulder)

Nandini - What! You are not kidding right? This... this is not a prank?

Dhruv - Nandini, Will we joke about such a thing? (took a deep dramatic sigh) You hurt me.

Nandini - Although you behaviour is not letting me believe but I don't have any other option. Which hospital?

Dhruv - City Hospital.

Nandini ran out and left her phone at table,. She met Kabir at cafeteria entrance and took his car keys but didn't tell him anything. Kabir came to them who were all laughing.

Dhruv - Kabir!! Welcome man, Welcome.

Kabir - What happened to Nandini? Why was she in such a hurry?

Abhimanyu - Actually, we pranked her saying Manik got some injuries because of an accident. She went to the hospital.

Kabir - What if she reach there and fin...

Dhruv - Don't worry. According to my calculations, she will meet Manik in parking lot.

Kabir - Okay.

Nandini got into the car and left after a while Manik reached there. He directly went to cafeteria and saw everyone there except Nandini. He reached the table. Everyone was shocked to see him alone.

Dhruv - Why are you coming back alone?

Manik - huh? I went alone so I came back alone? What's wrong?

Mukti - Why isn't Nandini with you?

Manik - But why wold she be with me? Actually, you guys should tell me where's Nandini?

Kabir - Mr. Dhruv, What about your calculations? huh?

Dhruv - I am sorry. Manik, Nandini will come back in an hour.

Manik - An hour? Why? Where had she gone? Will someone tell me what's going on?

Dhruv explained everything to Manik and seek his apology. An hour past and there was no news of Nandini.

Kabir got a call from RAJ...
