At 6 pm, In the basketball court,

Manik - Let's call it a day. Everyone should leave and take a good rest. I want everyone to be in great condition tomorrow for the match. Don't stress yourself.

They all went to their dorms to rest.

In the girl's dormitory,

Navya, Mukti, and Alia circled around Nandini and started staring at her. Nandini was playing her game. Seeing this, she closed her laptop and asked them to say what they want to say.

Navya - Come to tomorrow's game.

Alia - Exactly, You have never seen any campus game. All three of us are going and I think tomorrow, Navya will also hold water for Kabir.

Mukti - Come on Nandini, please.

She took her phone and purse and went out. Neither of the girls stopped her cause they knew she will come back soon but still, Navya texted Kabir and told him everything. And asked him to search for his sister.

Kabir took Manik with him and went out saying they will return soon to Abhimanyu and Dhruv. Manik was totally confused. They reached the parking lot. Kabir gave Manik's car key to Manik.

Manik - Where did you get this?

Kabir - That's not important. See, It's already 6:30, Go and bring Nandini back. Right now. No one knows where she went. She doesn't have any vehicle so she must be near about. Navya just texted me(he explained everything to Manik).

Manik rushed out. He just crossed the university campus and saw Nandini sitting at a bench outside. He stopped his car in front of her, asked her to come in. She simply went in and sat. They went to a cafe. They talked for long and came back at 7:30 to their respective dorms. Nandini was smiling now. Her friends were all happy to see her happy. They ate dinner and then slept.

The next morning,

All woke late as it was only a match today which would start at 10 am. Navya, Alia, and Mukti were shocked to not see Nandini but noticed a note stuck to her desk. It was written by Nandini saying don't worry. I have some work, so I'm going out.

They all got ready and went straight to the Basketball court. The match started soon and all boys entered the court with a loud cheer from the audience. Almost an hour passed, Manik's team got the lead.

Nandini entered the court and went straight to the players resting area on the boundary of the field and stood there. After few minutes, Alia noticed her and Nandini was holding a water bottle. Alia asked Navya and Mukti to see and directly called Nandini. She picked the call.

Nandini - Ya Alia.

Alia - Nandini, What are you doing there?

Nandini - Huh?

Alia - I mean are you holding that bottle for Kabir. Don't you think Navya should be there? We prepared her. (she put the phone on speaker mode)

Nandini - Alia, just send Navya here. Of course, she is gonna give water to Kabir, not me. And I am not standing for Kabir!! ok?

Navya went there and stood beside Nandini. She asked Nandini but she made Navya quiet.

Soon after, the bell for break rang and all boys moved to the resting area. Kabir and Manik were together and went to Nandini and Navya. Kabir took water from Navya while Manik took water from Nandini.

Everyone in the court got shocked. Nandini and Manik smiled at each other. Alia and Mukti were startled while Navya kept on looking at them. Kabir was laughing while Abhimanyu and Dhruv were shocked too.

The match resumed. Manik and Kabir before going made Nandini and Navya sit on chairs. There was no cheering in the court now as everyone was in total shock. Some even started sulking after seeing that.

After some time, the match was finally over with Manik and his team's win. Nandini, Navya, Manik, Kabir, and his whole team was happy. While in the audience not much joy was seen as everyone was totally shocked. Alia and Mukti rushed to the team and stood beside Nandini and Manik. They found themselves surrounded by all six of them in which only Kabir's face didn't show any surprising gesture. The team left after congratulating the two.

Nandini - (quickly, in a breath) Fine, we are sorry, we didn't tell you but yes we are together for a long. We just didn't tell you because we thought, it will be awkward. Yesterday, when I went out, Manik met me and I asked him to now open about this as the situation was getting worse and he agreed. And don't ask from when we know each other, I'm so sorry we can't tell you. Any further queries?

For few seconds they all kept on staring at them angrily and suddenly burst into laughter.

Mukti - Okay, okay. come on. No need to say sorry.

Abhimanyu - Exactly, you guys are our friends, not murderers.

Alia - But, I must say the way Nandini said everything was like we are police, they are criminals and we are about to torture them and she spitted out everything. That's really funny.

They all started laughing.

Kabir - When are we getting treat then? (Nandini stared at him angrily and he deviated his head)

Nandini - Fine, this Sunday, the lunch is on us.
