Because of the search for the cure Silas escaped, some of the dead witches warned me about him, they told me to cloak my magic so he won't know that I'm a powerful witch, because if he do he will most defiantly come after me. Today I'm going to see Klaus, I need him to trust me again.

Now I'm driving to the Mikaelson mansion wearing a light faded jeans and a black crop top with a silver necklace that says witch.

Stepping in I walked to the middle of the house and saw things thrown everywhere and clothes ripped, so he finally slept with someone else. It breaks my heart to find my mate with someone else, but at least my baby won't be in danger anymore.

"Klaus!" I yelled.

I went into his room and what I saw brakes my heart and made my eyes tears. I already know this would happen but the sight of him with someone else is unbearable.

"Monique?" He says shock, his expression turns sad probably because he felt what I felt from the bond.

"Hi I'm Monique Gilbert and you are?" I ask.

"Hayley, Tyler's friend." She says.

"Klaus can I talk to you?" I ask hopeful.

"Hayley I think you should leave now." he says and she listens.

"What do you want Monique?" He ask.

"What ever you think you know it's not true. Klaus I had no idea she was planning to kill you. At the party Elijah ask me to undo the privacy spell she cast on the room but because she's and original witch it's very difficult, at the end I didn't succeed but I did tell Elijah raft she's using a lot of magic to cast a spell. And at the day that she planned on killing you all I woke up late, then had brunch after that I cleaned the house and reorganized my room, and since I had nothing to do I went to our waterfall and sketch the surroundings. I left my phone at home so I didn't know you called me, when I did arrive home I looked for my phone and tried to call you. Nicklaus I swear I didn't know, please don't push me away again." I say tears streaming down my face, from the bond i felt him being worried, shocked and sorrowful.

"Monique, I'm, I'm so sorry. The thing with Hayley-" he try's to explain but I cut him off.

"Don't, I get it, you were sad and felt betrayed, you needed to get your mind of things and Hayley was there to help when I wasn't." I crouch down next to him and cupped his cheeks and kissed his head.

Unexpectedly he hugged me.

"I'm so sorry, I should have listen. I... I hit you, I hit my mate, I'm so sorry." he cried into my neck.

"Hush, Nic, come let's go to our waterfall." I say.

When we arrive I use my magic to light up the used candles. We both sat down at the middle of the gazebo and cuddle.

"Monique will you ever forgive me?" He ask.

"Only if you massage my feet, this preg-" but I stop myself, I'm not ready to tell him that I'm pregnant.

"All this stress is killing me, especially after Jeremy died, I will only forgive you if you massage me." I say, truthfully this pregnancy is killing my feet, it's so swollen, and the stress of finding out Jeremy died isn't helping, a foot massage will really help me relax.

"Anything for the woman I love." he says then kisses my lips and took of my sandals and started to massage me.
