"Oh God, I forgot about that!" Elena squealed, pulling her seat closer to mine.
"You knew about it? Why didn't you tell me?!" Damon yelled, his face flashed with anger but I know deep down he was hurt.
"Damon, I'm sorry. I was so worried about everything else that was happening I even forgot that Klaus was Monique's mate." Elena apologised, running her hand through her hair.
"How can someone like Klaus have a mate?" Jeremy muttered, slamming back into his chair.
"Did you know? Have you always known that he was your mate?" Stephan asked timidly.
"No, the spirits and the dead witches thought that I should find out on my own. On school prank night, when Klaus saw me for the first time he felt the connection immediately and told me. At first I was repulsed by the thought of even being near him, but the mating bond made sure I couldn't resist him." I explained, looking at my hands.
"Why would the dead witches and spirits say you need to find out on your own? Why would you even think that they would help you?" Bonnie asked.
"Because, they teach me magic after your Grams died." I said.
"So the dead witches, that, really, are all bitched helped you with magic. But when Bonnie begs for their help they look the other way and make us all suffer! What makes you so special, that they would even help you?!" Damon yelled.
"I don't know, they just said I was special, even the Original witch had a chat with me." I blurted out, Shit I wasn't meant to say the last bit, sorry Esther.
"Wait, the original witch came to you?" Bonnie asks obviously jealous.
"Yes she did, we had a little... conversation." I said with a smile.

"What kind of chat?" Stephan asked. All he seemed to do today was ask questions.
"A secret kind of chat," I told them in a hushed voice while I pretend to zip and lock my lips.
"Come on,just tell us," Caroline whined.
"Sorry Care Bear, but unlike you, I can keep a secret." I watched as her face turned down into a litteral frown. She was pouting.
"Monique you need to tell us, if it can help us with the Klaus problem, then we all need to know." Elena says, gripping my arm.
"Well, the thing is, I can't help you with the "Klaus problem", the witch just wanted to talk about my love life." I said.
"About Klaus, you mean?" Jeremy spoke up.
"Yes. Now if you all could just stop with the questions I need to go." Before I could leave Damon stopped me by grabbed my right arm.
"Tell us everything!" Damon demanded, shouting. Does he think he can beat me? What a fool! I used my magic to make him feel the worst pain he ever felt, causing him to drop down.
"Do not demand things from me Damon! You can get your own answers by finding them yourself, if you ever do that or threaten me ever again, you will lose a hand. Got it?" I stop the pain.
"Yes." Damon let out in a strained voice, still hunched over from the pain.
"Good!" And with that I left.
