《Besides Being Werewolves, They're Weird, Rude, Confusing, and Clingy》[8]

The next day, I woke up to the smell of chocolate chip pancakes. Immediately, I rolled out of bed and dashed down to the kitchen to eat some.

"Well someone's been deprived of food," Zoey commented.

"I would respond to that, but I rather just eat these pancakes," I said before filling my mouth up with their sweet taste. Zoey finished drinking her juice and then left with a laugh in my direction. And then the bell rang. Who the hell would come to someone's house this early in the morning unannounced? I looked to the clock and immediately felt stupid because it was actually two in the afternoon. Wow I slept late. Maybe because I was up, tossing and turning after Eli dropped me off.

"Uh, Alicia, there are some boys here to see you!" my mom announced. BOYS? Shit. I dashed up the stairs and looked in my mirror. Just as I thought, I looked like shit. And I was still in my clothes from last night. I threw on some shorts and a tank top and dashed around my room to try and look presentable, but right as I was brushing down my hair, I heard footsteps and boom. Zoey led all four boys to my room. I rolled my eyes as she left them in here with me and one of them shut the door.

"Aw, you don't have to get ready for us," Mason called to me as I walked into my bathroom.

"Wasn't trying to," I lied. I walked back in my room and saw as they took up all of optional spots to sit. Wes and Mason whispered to each other.

"Okay, we have a question," Mason announced. I rolled my eyes and braced myself for the question.

"Why do you look like shit?" Wes asked as I narrowed my eyes just like Chase did.

"Dude," Eli said, hitting his shoulder.

"Did you not learn your lesson from last night?" Chase asked, calmly as he sat at my swivel chair. I really hope they didn't physically fight, but then again, I wasn't even supposed to know about the argument.

"He needs another lesson," Mason laughed.

"No. I don't," Wes said to Mason as he smacked his head. "And besides, I already learned my lesson when Tori was smacking my ass last night."

"Don't even go there," Mason growled. The two boys looked as if they were about to fight despite previously joking with each other.

"I beat you up pretty bad last night, but I'm sure Mason would even more if you diss Tori like that," Chase commented. He beat up Wes? That was doubtful considering there were no ailments anywhere on Wes.

"Oh please—"

"Remind me why you're here?" I interrupted Wes.

"To work on our paper," they answered at once.

"I was sure that I mentioned something about not wanting any of you at my house..." I reminded.

"Yeah, but we needed to work on it together, and you bring sanity to our group somehow," Mason said. Sanity? Was it not them that start petty argument and fights about me? Or how about when I started fights with them? Mason was obviously mistaken. So were the rest of them if they honestly thought that.

"Yeah right," I laughed.

"Well I've already been here, so..." Chase said as I noticed he had spun in my chair and was using my computer.

"And I'm your new best friend so I deserve the privilege to be here," Eli expressed.

"I just don't want to flunk," Wes informed as if I cared.

"Again," Mason covered in a fake cough. So Wes failed?

"Shut up," Wes commanded as he pushed Mason's shoulder.

"Let's just get this done as soon as possible," I decided as I walked over to my computer. I noticed that Chase was looking through my files. I smacked his head.

"Move," I hissed.

"Why should I?" he challenged.

"Because there's nowhere for me to sit and you're going through my shit on my computer!" I reasoned.

"Fine," he said, making me think he was going to move or something. Not a chance. He stayed slouched in the chair. "Sit on my lap."

"Yeah right," I snorted.

"Fine. Your call," he shrugged as he opened a Word document on the computer. Ugh.

"Fine; I'll sit on your lap," I decided after a few seconds of standing.

"Really?" he asked, anxious.

"No," I responded with disgust. He's dating my sister!

"Rejected!" Wes called out, causing Chase to look around me and glare at him.

"Zoey!" I yelled with intention. She skipped into my room and landed herself right onto Chase's lap. He welcomed her as his arms strapped her to him. Something turned in my stomach.

"What's up, sis?" she asked as if there was nothing wrong.

"Tell your boyfriend to get his ass up from my seat," I ordered. Zoey looked up and back to Chase. He gave her a look and she rested on his chest and shook her head. "Zoey! You are not serious!"

She was siding with the enemy!

"I had this seat first," Chase said.

"He had the seat first," Zoey repeated, figuring that, that information was enough for him to keep sitting there.

"Like I care!" I slightly shouted.

"You seemed to care when you sat in all those seats in school..." Wes' voice said from my bed.

"Shut the f*ck up," I said to him as I flicked him off, briefly. I turned back to the couple. "Both of you. Up. Now."

"Or what?" Chase challenged. I narrowed my eyes at him since he had a good point. But then I looked to Zoey.

"Tell him to get up before I tell him an embarrassing secret of yours," I threatened.

"It's okay. I don't care what my baby knows about me," she figured, kissing his cheek. UGH. He had her wrapped around his stupid finger. I will not lose this battle!

"Fine. Then I'll tell everyone else," I restated, crossing my arms. Her eyes narrowed.

"You wouldn't," she doubted.

"Try me," I dared. She didn't respond, so I took extra precautions. "So last year when Zoey and I went—"

"It's a stupid chair!!" Zoey asked as she broke out of Chase's grasp and now stood up.

"To—"

"Chase, get up," she demanded in a frantic voice, although I was just starting a random story. I wouldn't spill any secret, but I'd sure as hell make her and everyone else think I would. With Zoey shouting at him, Chase immediately hopped up and I took my rightful seat.

"Thanks sis," I said like a spoiled brat and then blew her a kiss. Her face was red and then she stormed out. I contained my laughter horribly. She left by slamming the door in the process.

"Congrats, you're sitting now," Chase said before he sat on me. Ugh.

"DUDE. Get your fat-ass off of me," I demanded. He was heavy due to all his annoying muscles.

"What's the magic word?" he taunted.

"Please," I choked out.

"It was actually 'cookie,' but I'll go along with 'please,'" he said before leaving my lap to sit happily on the floor. I shot him a look before we worked on our paper. If they kept this up, my junior year goal of just making it through was not going to happen.
