We followed Patton into the imagination room, each corner turned into something we thought, one corner had puppies, another corner had bookshelf full of books, the corner next to me was covered in Disney posters and the corner next to roman was black and had spider webs, a bean bag, an Xbox and a laptop "When did you find this out?" I asked sitting on the bean bag "The other day Logan chased me in here and half the room turned to be what I thought and the other half was what Logan thought" Patton said "Ok, why were you chasing him?" Roman asked "Because, he had my book" Logan said "I still have it" Patton said standing up and running out "Logan jump on his back, I do that to roman all the time" I said, Logan nodded and ran out, the whole room turned into a giant kingdom "Welcome back Prince Roman" a guard said "Of course you would have a kingdom" I said jumping on romans back "Why wouldn't I have a kingdom babe" roman said walking to a castle "Just letting you know there are dragons here and there are also unicorns" roman said smiling, the forest set fire "Prince Roman, there is
a dragon, it set fire to the storage house" a guard said running up to roman, I jumped off romans back and ran to the fire "Virgil what are thinking?!" Roman asked yelling "Roman do you want to stop the fire and the dragon?" I asked, he nodded "Then trust me" I said kissing his head and ran off.
I got to the dragon and calmed it down, I sat with it in a field of flowers "If I were you I'd go and never come back, I don't know what roman could do to you and I don't want anyone getting hurt" I said, the dragon flew away "Virgil" roman said happily "I took care of the dragon and the forest" I said smiling "you are my hero" He said hugging me "I don't classify as a hero" I said kissing his ear, we walked back to the castle and relaxed at the lake.

People from a technologically advanced society are thrown into a world where they can't maintain their tech. They are forced to rely on medieval technology where they have to make do with the limited resources they have and what little of their old technology is still working. Their gene manipulation allows them to have something akin to superpowers, but that doesn't help much against the monsters of their new world. Not sure yet whether sufficiently advanced technology will be discovered later on to count as magic. ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites.
