Aricka walks into history to see a blonde girl kissing Mark. "What?" she gasps, feeling her heartbreak. "Mark-y-you cheated on me?" he looks over, and his smile fades.

"Aricka-"

"No," she says, seething now. "I thought you wanted ME to be your "One Less Lonely Girl. Or was that just a lie?" Mark pales. "Now that I think of it-you barely were at my hospital visits. Were you with her?" he starts to speak, but she cuts him off. "No, don't speak to me again Mark. I don't want to see you ever again."

She sits in the cafeteria, tears falling down her face. Dan and Phil come to sit by her. "Hey," Dan says, rubbing her arm and giving her a small smile. " We just heard about everything. He was a jerk if he didn't see how awesome you are."

"Yeah, you're amazing, Aricka," Phil says. She smiles at them and hugs Dan. "Don't cry anymore Aricka."

She sniffles and smiles weakly at them. "Thanks, guys." she doesn't remove her arm-which had been looped through Dan's-for the rest of lunch.

"Ready to go?" Dan asks, helping her stand. Aricka nods, and he puts his arm protectively around her shoulders. "Let's go."
