Tonight was my first date with Jack-and, of course, my "brothers" wanted to help me with EVERYTHING. 

Let me give you a few examples...

"ARICKA! COME TRY THIS OUTFIT ON!" Roman yells, walking in with this:

"Oh, my everlasting gobstoppers- do you WANT me to scare him off? Why isn't Virgil showing me this outfit?" Virgil appears.

"Because I know what you like-that's why I picked out that one outfit." (

"Aricka, he's going to be here in 10 minutes!" Patton yells. I run and put on the outfit Virgil chose for me, and run downstairs.

"You look beautiful," Thomas says, "He's going to love it."

Jack did love the dress like Thomas thought he would. We walked around the park for a while, then headed toward the gazebo:

"Wha-Jack-you did all this in one day?" he nods, and we sit down to talk. "I love it-you know how much I adore fairy lights." he smiles, and we sit in silence for a while.

The stars came out, twinkling like a million more fairy lights. "Wow..." I heard him whisper.

"I love nights like this-Logan takes me outside sometimes and shows me the constellations. Look-Orion's out!" I exclaim and point it out. "That's my favorite constellation."

Jack takes my hand, sending a chill down my spine. So this is what it feels like, I thought to myself. He leans over, and I lean closer to him, and we kiss.

I walk into the house with a goofy grin on my face. Jack had walked me up to the door, hugged me, and left. Thomas and Patton(.) were there when I walked in. "Hey," Thomas says.

"Hi," I answer, and sit down on the couch. 

"How'd it go?"

"Great-he kissed me." cue a half hour of retelling every little detail of my date.
