the next morning i put out my fire and continued making my way to the prison. it came into view as i neared and i couldn't help but be excited. pft, to kick some ass of course. definitely not because i'm about to see sir hottie after 10 years of being away. i decided to speed up my pace, hoping that the captain was better and on his way.
baste started getting closer and closer, and before i knew it i had reached the entrance. not a single guard outside. i shook my head, of course there aren't any guards. the security at this place is shit. i peaked in through the opening and saw two guards, not paying attention whatsoever, talking to each other. "sound barrier." i whispered, silencing my footsteps and making my way up to them.
i took my daggers out of my boots and held them in each hand. i said wrapping my arms around each of their throats, dragging my daggers across them. i grinned and began making my way down the hallway looking for ban's cell. any moment i would see some guards, all i had to do was silence my footsteps and slice their throats. i may be quiet but i was violent.
silent but deadly.
as i finally neared the "heavily guarded" floor i see a figure standing at the end. i don't make a move and i go to silence my footsteps, when the figure steps into the light. it was none other than the sin of greed himself. i said to myself, but i could tell he heard me when he smirked. he asked me. i nodded and looked up at him, i said as we walked up to each other.
he said to me as we began walking to the entrance. i asked quietly. he grinned, he explained. i nodded a light blush making its way to my face. 'stop getting so flustered! he's talking about the captain of course.' i mentally scolded myself.
i asked him. he shrugged, he simply said. i nodded, he smiled slightly at my reply, but didn't say anything.
i grinned as i looked down at the small girl standing next to me. i couldn't believe it. finally after 10 years of missing the beautiful, sarcastic girl, she was finally next to me. memories of us ran through my mind, showing all of the things that had kept me entertained in jail. it had felt wrong to elaine, but i couldn't help my thoughts.
(y/n) was the girl that made me feel alive again. made my days interesting and not just another day of living an immortal life. and then we split up. she was just gone, ripped out of my grasp. i couldn't let her go now. i wouldn't.

damn i hated being soft. but since we're alone....
-
before i knew it he had grabbed my hand and pulled me into him. i was startled by the action but nonetheless i wrapped my arms around his torso. i wasn't gonna just reject a hug from ban. we stood there for a few moments, our arms wrapped around each other. i pulled back slightly, i said quietly and looked up at him, i asked.
he shrugged, he said slightly looking away. i smiled and blushed slightly, i teased. his head whipped towards me, he said. i said softly, laughing at his reply as i began walking back where we came from. he nodded and walked next to me, making small talk.
we got caught up with each other over the past few years. mainly me though since for half of it, he had been in jail. i told him about my adventures around britannia. every once in a while he would scoff at the mention of arthur, and it made me laugh.
i was very close with arthur. though it was strictly platonic. he'd always take me in when i needed a place to stay, and i appreciated it greatly. he was a great kid and i saw him as nothing besides a friend.
as we started making our way down the third floor hallway we heard voices at the end. slowly ban and i walked up to them, and after they're faces cleared in my vision, i grinned. i softly said making my way up to diane, hawk, and elizabeth. ban said. meliodas replied. i waved, i said sitting on diane's thigh.
the boys then looked at each other, as it became eerily quiet. hawk asked. diane and i looked at him with bored looks, diane told him. he squealed and ran behind diane, along with elizabeth, and watched the boys' encounter.
after a moment ban's face lit up, he yelled, meliodas replied. they began to do their weird ass handshake and i zoned out. a small smile made its way to my face. no doubt their greeting was old, but it was good seeing them together again, happy.
soon they were on the floor, arm wrestle position as they stared up at me expectantly. i sighed and got off diane making my way towards the immature men. i raised my arm up slightly and stared and the two. silently waving my arm down, the two began their battle.
the walls slowly began to break down at the force and before i knew it we were falling. the boys didn't seem to notice and i crossed my arms as we made out way down. i was so focused on the guys, that i didn't notice the brick falling right towards my head.

darkness. pitch black nothingness.
and then...
light. bright white light.
she looked up around her. it was a bright day, with very few clouds in the sky. she was sitting in the middle of a clearing. beautiful white flowers covered various spots in the grass, and she was leaned up against a rock. trees surrounded her and the only thing past them was darkness.
"hello gorgeous." a low voice said. her head whipped to the side looking at the source of the sound she once loved. "levi?" she questioned quietly. "i missed you." he said as he made his way towards her, looking as handsome as he always had. a single tear fell down her cheek slowly, but neither seemed to acknowledge it.
he pulled her into a hug as she was incapable of saying anything, but as she went to wrap her arms around him, she was met with air- the warmth of his body had suddenly disappeared. she opened her eyes and noticed it was now gloomy out. as if every rain cloud in the world had decided to make its way above her. and as it began to rain- she spun around looking for her old lover.
she slowly took a step back to be met with a chest. "oh there you are-" she began as she turned around. her eyes widened in shock and fear, as she was not prepared for the sight she was met with.
yes it had been levi. but the way she had last seen him. a large gash in his throat. his eyes were open, but all white. his mouth lay flat and he had no emotions. she gasped as she slowly stepped away from him.
"(y/n) why'd you do this to me?" he said. tears began falling faster down her face. "w-what?" she said, her mouth moving with no sound coming out- but he seemed to hear her. "you did this. your parents." levi's voice got deeper and deeper. "no.. i didn't want this." the words flowed out of her mouth choppily, as she couldn't breathe right.
blood started gushing out of the cut as he reached for her and she screamed, scrambling to get away. she began to run but tripped over a body. his body. laying there lifelessly just as she had found him. she screamed running away from him, only to have him grab her ankles and pull her down. she hit the floor, and then-
darkness.
-
i jumped up from my space in the bed, startling a concerned ban and captain. elizabeth, hawk and diane seemed nowhere to be found as it was just us three closest. i took deep breaths, recalling the events of my dream. captain asked. i shook my head unable to speak as the image of levi flashing through my head repeatedly.
ban said grabbing my chin softly and forcing me to look at him. captain had exited the room, but i just focused in on the crimson eyes staring into mine. my breathing slowed, but was still rapid. he moved closer as he noticed this, and my breath hitched in my throat.
he quickly pulled me into a hug wrapping an arm around my waist and placing his other hand on my head. i tried slowing my breathing by focusing on where i was. i was okay. i was with ban. he cared. he'd protect me. it will be okay. it was just a nightmare. i sighed as my breathing finally steadied and i pulled away from ban slightly.
looking up at him i sniffled. i asked, referring to how i had passed out. he sheepishly smiled. i mumbled, but shoved my head back into ban's chest. i heard the door open and someone place things on the nightstand.
meliodas asked. i smiled, i said softly, moving my head away from ban slightly to make my words clearer. "okay, goodnight guys." he said to us as he closed the door. ban said. i quickly pulled away and ban laughed as my eyes lit up. i looked towards the table, and sure enough there was a plate of food and a mug of ale.
i grabbed the plate, and realized- this is meliodas' food... ban saw my hesitation and smiled, he said. doctor? i looked at him with confusion and he shook his head, he said and i nodded eating the food.
if it was even possible- my eyes had lit up more. it was delicious. way better than meliodas' cooking of course, but never as good as long legs over here. as i finished my ale and food i grinned, happy as ever.
i quietly said laying on the bed. he smiled down at me, he replied pulling me into his chest. i soon began drifting off to sleep, the warmth of his body calming me. as i started drifting out of consciousness, i was unable to make out his next words.
"i'd do anything for you."
