*Harry's P.O.V. (A nightmare)*
Ron's just yelling at me for no apparent reason... "You really are a monster aren't you!?" I heard him yell. I had tears in my eyes... This wasn't the person who I liked since second year... The one who made me promise to never call myself a monster or talk bad about myself. He picks up his head realizing what he said. "Harry... I-" I didn't want to hear another word. I ran to the bathroom, done with myself. "Go away!" I yelled, crying. I threw off his sweater searching the bathroom for something. "Go fuck yourself Ronald!" I screamed at him from the other-side of the door. "I am a monster I get it!" I yelled crying more. I felt like I lost what made me feel safe... feel cared for... feel loved...
*Ron's P.O.V. in real life not dream*
"Harry! Wake up please!" he yelled 'Go away' and 'Go fuck yourself Ronald! I am a monster I get it!' Harry's eyes flew open, he was also crying. "Harry what happened?" I asked him sitting up holding him close. "Y-you were yelling at m-me for no r-reason..." he stuttered. My eyes widen, why would I ever yell at him? "A-and y-you called me a-a... m-m-monster..." he choked out. "Harry baby... I would never want to call you a monster..." I kissed his forehead. I wiped away his tears, hugging him close. "I would never want to hurt you..." I said in a whisper. "P-promise...?" he asked. "Cross my heart till the day I die..." I said looking into his eyes smiling.

The Game Called Reality

He is not the alone in this endeavour. An advanced civilization gave this task to David and countless others with the promise of their return to Earth after being successful in their task. Follow Dave Langley, or who is now called Blake Donovan, as he builds up his kingdom and competes against others who try to stop him. Will he be able to return to Earth? Will he be alone or together with those stuck with him? First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.

This story -despite taking place in a pseudo historic fantasy world- is based and inspired by the real world event which is called "the bronze age collapse" where most likely a combination of famine, economical problems and invading tribes which are commonly known as the "sea-people" led to the collapse of most bronze age empires.
