Scene. (Back porch, Moon Knight Pack House.)

My Baby shower party, organised by my mother and Liam's mother turned out to be great.

The whole garden was filled up with various different tables with different variety of food and decorative items. Both pink and Blue colours were beautifully decorated around the back porch area.

As we entered, every body congratulated us and gave us their blessing and some gifts for the baby.

We (basically I) decided to not to reveal the gender of the pup. I want it to be surprise for everyone when our pup is born. He or she needs to be healthy that really what i want.

We cut the huge cake and dance to several songs. Out mothers did a great job in organising such things in such a short duration of time.

Now, few hours later, I think I am getting tired. I need to get some fresh air but Leo is being annoying.

I know he is very excited and on the edge at same time but a girl need her own space some times.

Leo kept a firm hold over the small of my back all times never once left my side. He has taken back his Alpha duties and he has become a possessive mate, growling over any unmated wolf who dares to look at me for long then two seconds.

"Calm down Leo. You are showing your wild side to people." I whisper yell him. We are standing in the middle of my Baby shower party and Leo is kind of embarrassing me in front of whole pack and our families.

"I don't care. Wild is in my nature baby girl." His face has a huge smirk as he says and places a possessive kiss on my lips. His hold over my waist tightens making me feel suffocated.

"Don't baby girl Me, Leo. You are embarrassing me in front of every one." I am getting irritated from his possessive nature. Liam was much better than him in such matters.

"Do you want to get back to our apartment and take a nap?" His eyes soften as he senses my discomfort.

"Hmm." I nod and he bends down and picks me up in his arms in a bridal style.

I nozzle my face in his chest for comfort, his scent calming me down.

I wake up from my nap, get out of the bed and freshen up in the washroom. I take some time to have a soothing shower and comb my hairs straight.

Feeling hungry, I walk out of the Master bedroom in the kitchen. I look for something like appetizers from the fridge and settle for an apple.

In that instance Maxwell, (Pack's Beta and Liam's best friend) walks out of Liam's home office along with My mate. They both haven't noticed me and walk past the living area talking. "Liam are you sure you want to do this now?. We can wait for it." Maxwell asks My mate.

"I am sure. Just get this over with." Liam says in confidence.

"My pack and I suffered because of him but I won't let any other pack think we are a weak. Our people needs assurance and protection. I don't like the thought of them both being alive in same place as my mate and my unborn pup." They both walk in front of master bed room and I see Liam's facial expression of hope and sadness as he look at the Door of master bedroom and walks pass by to the front door.

I missed Liam so much. Ever since our argument, Leo has been by my side and he some how kept his human self (Liam) away from me.

"Keep me updated with the situation and don't let any pack female and children know about it Specially Eva. It's should be between elders of the pack only. " He takes in a deep breath. "Now it's Leo's turn to take over as Eva should be getting up from Her nap soon." He opens door and let's Maxwell walks out.

"Man are you free tonight for a drink with boys.? It's been so long we had a fun night with us boys." Maxwell ask expectedly, changing the topic, trying to lift up Liam's mood.

"Nah man, I can't. I have to take care of Eva."

"But I thought she was on no talking terms with you." Maxwell raises his eyebrow in question.

"Yeah but I just spend night by her side when she is asleep. It's the only time I get to be with her fully and calm my self from doing insane things."

"You are actually whipped man." Maxwell let's out a light laugh.

"Who knew that Alpha of The great Moon Knight Pack was whipped by his mate."

"Shut up and Leave." Liam says and Maxwell laughs and walks away.

As Liam walks back inside, he sees me standing in the hallway and I look him dead in his Blue eyes. "You are awake?" He asks and in an instance his eyes shift back to his Wolf's black eyes. "You hungry baby girl?" Leo asks.

Liam was there I moment and he's gone next. I nod in yes and Leo walks me back to the kitchen counter and settles me on the bar bench.

"I can get you something sweet or do you want something spicy?"

"Can we order some pizza and watch a movie?" I ask.

"Yeah sure. Baby." He steps in my personal space and kisses me.

Leo puts on some wolf shifter movie and we both settle ourselves comfortably on the bed, him by my side. "Um Leo, I want to ask you a question."

"Yes baby girl.?" Leo asks as he bites off his pizza slice.

"What were you discussing with Maxwell earlier?" I ask him hesitantly. I have curiosity in my mind to know about what they were discussing and agreed to not tell me.

"It is nothing for you to worry about baby. Liam and I have everything under control." He tries to assure me.

"Just tell Me already Leo." I ask getting all fussy.

He takes in a deep breath and his eyes change back to and fro as if he is having an discussion with Liam. "Its just safety protocol."

"What safety protocol ?"

"Liam and I have decided to Execute Luke and his mate." He explains.

'What? Execute them both.? But why?' I thought.

'They are the main reason Liam was attacked at the first place and whole pack was in danger. I am not shocked that they plan on executing them both.' Anna explains.

"Why didn't you informed me about it?"

"I know we should have discussed about it, but I don't want you to take any sort of tension before our pup arrives." He says in his dismay.

"Hmm. Okay." I reply and lift my shoulder.

"Okay?" He repeats my word.

"I am okay with it if you are." I just hold his hand and assure him that his sufferings at the no pack land was what I deeply sympathise about and what do ever he thinks is right, is right.

"I love you my little mate." He kisses my mark on my shoulder before inhaling my scent. "I was worried that you wouldn't approve my decision." He kisses me on my cheeks.

"Now tell me about Liam's new nightly routine." It was the main question I wanted to ask from him. What were they talking about Liam spending night by my side..? I am intrigued by all this.
